This morning was a running morning and as I was lacing up my trainers the notification came through. I honestly considered staying to watch the stream but got to keep that routine and discipline strong haha.
Well done on the missions, you did a good job!

Thanks Matt! For sure keep the training going! I should be running instead of streaming 😂

Yeah, hauling medium logs is rough
In Maine you can unlock the Komatsu Forrester which makes it a lot more easy to haul medium logs

Post stream additional comment after a bite to eat, for the algorithm and maybe helpful for others. 😆
Just having a longer look over the contract, I'd say given the locations for delivery on Smithville of medium logs, you probably don't even need to worry about the loose log tactic though, at least there. With Timber For The Locals anyway, I'd say maybe aim for everything needing delivered in Smithville Dam first, to make the delivery list look more manageable, and at least there's a garage there.
I would say that's 2 trips with medium logs (medium logging frame + medium log trailer). Once being to Bill's house (2x medium logs), which is just NE of the Log Station there. Then one more trip for 1 load of medium logs to the forester's house just SW of the Log Station. After that, the rest of the medium logs needed for Island Lake, you could get there with two trucks and a log trailer (or one truck driving back and forth, it's just to the Saw Mill). The single long log needed on Smithville, can just insta travel a truck to the Black River garage, get the long log there, and drive to Norton's House on Smithville Dam. Just mind the tricky trails getting there.
The long logs for Island Lake could be obtained with two trucks or one truck doing it twice, since the long logs are fairly close from there, just taking the W exit to Drummond Island for the nearby Log Station that has the long logs.
As for the very last thing talked about, and which trucks in game can do Log Crane + Low Saddle to be a loose log transport and log crane truck in one, the total list is quite small, really. Base game, there is only one truck as I mentioned during stream, the Azov 73210 (level 20 required, costs $89,100, can only buy outside NA, but deployable wherever). That said, it's an amazing and very versatile truck, nose booping the ground here and there and all. Although its active suspension is deep in the hardest DLC region in the game thus far, Amur.
Now, when it comes to trucks from DLC (so far anyway), here's what else can do that combo. International Paystar 5600TS (Season 3, Wisconsin, drive to it, it's yours, then hunt a few upgrades in the region for AWD, diff lock, and raised suspension). Mack Defense M917 (Season 10, British Columbia, repair and refuel, then tow to dropoff, after unlocking gateway). ZiKZ 612H "Mastodon" (single truck paid DLC). Azov 67096 "Atom" (single truck paid DLC). Western Star 47X NF 1430 (included in Wolf Pack paid DLC for 3 trucks). And lastly Kenworth W990. So only 7 trucks in the game, so far anyway, can do it. That doesn't get into the other matter of log crane plus long, medium, and short log addons.
For those willing to spend time hunting down the Paystar 5600TS or Mack Defense, particularly the latter, from season content, I'd recommend that. The Paystar 5600TS is a faster unlock, but have to get its AWD, diff lock, and raised suspension upgrades in the region. Great fuel carrier truck though, or thirsty 3 slot hauler. On the other hand, loads of money and experience from unlocking the way to get to the Mack Defense (and you'll likely wind up with the Kenworth 963 in the process, great large truck). And I'd say while useful, don't even have to get the top engine right away for it. Plus a free Tayga 6436 in the same map as the Mack Defense if you know where to look. Drive to it, it's yours.

Out of the stand alone paid truck DLCs so far, of the non-scout class ones, I'd point people in the direction of the ZiKZ 612H "Mastodon" first, even if some think it's OP (it has downsides, like not fitting well everywhere because of its width, and you wouldn't want to drive it first person probably). Otherwise, if they fix the balance issues so it doesn't tip so easy (as is being worked on in PTS, hopefully that fixes it enough), the only other one I *might* say would be worth a shot is the Azov 67096 "Atom." But that's conditional on it being far more stable than it is currently. Not saying Mastodon stable, it's a narrower truck, but more planted than it is now, and the majority of weight (in the real world) would be in its frame and tires to keep it from tipping so quickly. The other stand alone large truck DLCs out right now, I don't think are that fantastic from a usefulness standpoint.

Great info as always! Right at the start you mention doing the easier log deliveries first to make the list more manageable. I think I may do this lol. It's gonna be a slow one but one delivery at a time =)

I believe you can fit 12 or 15 loose logs or 4 or 5 loads comfortably without them falling out if you ever want to try that technique
