Nice comparison, Bumble. Thanks for doing this. I have played CotW, but that's the only other hunting game aside from WotH.
I gott'a admit you are correct on this one also but hopefully these are things currently being worked on meantime we got goofy Pheasants ...you have scienced this game to a standstill ...you are the man ..!

Same with ducks and geezes, i also played before WotH alot of theHunter Classic and have to say duck and geeze hunting was more fun in theHunter Classic because of the diffrent sizes and because i encountered in theHunter Classic much more flying flocks instead of already grounded duck and geeze flocks which is in theHunter Classic quiet rare.
In WotH you barely use your lure whistles for ducks and geezes because they simply are most of the time already on the ground.
And another thing i miss from theHunter Classic are the decoys and the blinds you can place and lure them even closer or exactly to your position which is exactly how it is in reality.
Yeah, Classic has done well in the bird department

This doesn't just work for pheasants; it works for most of the animals. Sure we have need zones and that's technically more realistic. But classic's rngeezus spawns somehow feel more alive and real, than the robotic, stuck to the same schedule everyday, animals that woth and cotw provide for us to hunt. This being in addition to better animations and scoring which top off the immersive experience.
theHunter classic would only need two things to be the number 1 hunting game again. 1: updated graphics 2: "dynamic" need zones that aren't so predictable. It is insane that a 15 year old game that hasn't had a major update since 2018 or 19 can hold that over cotw and woth.
Yes it does go for most animals. The difference in quality of pheasant hunting is one of the biggest though, so I wanted to highlight it. I agree with you on Classic. Classic offers the best hunting experience overall I would say.
I want the visual indicator of what we are hunting! I'm hoping that once we get this new map out - we will get an update on the programing of the animals with updates to the look of the animals. Make the game now more advanced.
I always assumed we would get a bird rework. But I'm not so sure now. Maybe it's being worked on in super secret 🤞

I'll blast all the fowl in WOTH and not care about score because they all look the same. It's the same for me with badgers and wolves, I don't see a difference in 1 to 5 star. Great video Bumblewoot.

They dont really make it worth it in way of the hunter. It is fun to bird hunt though.
