greek yogurt with lemon juice works very much like buttermilk for tenderizing, marinating and seasoning pieces of chicken, which is what I like to use if I'm just going to season and roast/ grill/ broil chicken. Butttermilk is definitely the right call if you're going to bread something and deep fry it

@samwelder6912 that sounds awesome - I want to check that out! I've been playing around with southwestern flavor profiles & a blend of Greek & Middle-Eastern & Indian spices. Lot's of onion & garlic & cumin & different chilies & citrus & cinnamon & allspice & nutmeg involved in all of them in their different dishes. Guga: how’s the chicken? Normal person: I really like it, it’s so juicy. Man you did a good job Leo: It's a mind-blowing, taste bud-tingling extravaganza! The golden-brown crispiness, the tender juiciness, the symphony of flavors-it's like a flavor explosion in your mouth. And the texture, oh my! The crunch, the succulence, the moistness-it's a delightful rollercoaster ride for your taste buds. Trust me, my friend, this fried chicken is a masterpiece worth savoring. You won't be able to resist going back for more. Enjoy the culinary magic!
GUGA been a fan for a long time, as someone who is a serious spice head myself, I would like to make a suggestion. The worst thing to do when eating a super hot sauce is to have one that tastes horrible, like extract (da bomb) or the last dab apollo (straight peppers as the only ingredient) It just ends up tasting very grassy like like a pepper. TRY The Last Dab XXX....it has a lot of additional things in it, turmeric, and coriander, cumin, ginger and dry mustard....It has a fabulous flavor while also packing the heat on nice and strong. Give it a try. I hope you see this.
straight superhots make great hotsauces as long as you counter the bitterness some have. Apollo is actually pretty tasty. I enjoy it but it def isnt the hottest sauce of all. I dont believe that. Da bomb does taste like ass though lol. Personally, i just make my own hotsauces out of super hots. It isnt hard to surpass apollo even without pepper x tho
Only the original Da Bomb ghost pepper sauce is made without pepper extract (and it's surprisingly tasty), so you are right it's made just to be hot. The extract make it taste very metallic and not good at all. Would never recommend unless you want to prank someone.
Angel's laugh after the last dab one just gives bad guy origin story vibes hahah. Guga better look out, they may hit him with another spicy surprise challenge again!
Angel & Leo has to have some sort of payback, it wasn't fair that Guga knew where he injected the chicken, need to do this again but have the other members of the crew prepping and cooking the meat, so its more fair
Nobody can apparently make a good tasting and incredibly hot, hot sauce. You can get up about as high as a strong mango habanero, but as soon as you go above that the hot sauces are all pure physical challenge sauces where you're not only being asked to endure the sauce, but to decide which is worse, the overwhelming spice or that is tastes awful.

Sir, I feel like this could have been done differently... First off, the last dab Apollo isn't the hottest sauce. It's advertised at 2.5m scoville, but there are several sauces hotter. I don't recommend using mad dog 357 plutonium as it's more of a paste than a sauce and is supposed to just be an additive to food. However, the source, get bitten, and the end are all good and very spicy compared to Apollo in my personal opinion. Additionally, I feel like the chicken should be injected/sauced after the buttermilk bath, as you lose a lot of the sauce on the cuts made and diluted into the buttermilk. Other than those ideas, great video!
I feel ya, Guga. Hot sauces become milder once you build up a tolerance, and boy does that open up a world of flavor. But you can lose that tolerance if you don't eat the stuff after awhile (and come on, you're not going to every day) and boy does that open up a world of hurt!

Adding chilli to food has a practical side, it is common in hot countries because it stops flies landing on food and makes it safer to eat, chilli onion, black pepper and garlic kill 75% of food borne bacteria.
