Well considering I got a ticket for not stopping long enough at a stop sign (I stopped for like one second and left), and now I stop for a minimum of 3 seconds at every stop sign (what's legally required), yes. I would say I learned my lesson. I also learned that police officers are literally waiting for someone to fuck up the most minor of traffic laws because he stopped me in the middle of the night, in a suburb, with no one on the street or sidewalks. So now I take less chances on the road as well. Traffic tickets are generally bullshit anyway because the ticket itself is usually 100 dollars. Everything else is a service fee for the court and department, which is bullshit because why am I paying taxes if not to go to public organizations like local police departments. I could have probably contested it, because one of the fees is the background check they run. Which the cop didn't do with my license.

And if you think “breaking for a second” is appropriate at a stop sign, then you clearly have no regards for traffic laws and safety. My dad has Multiple Sclerosis, and even though it’s incurable; it’s also a myth that MS is a death sentence. MS is manageable, and it can’t kill. People with MS have around a similar life span with those without MS. So, the person can’t actually say ‘my mom getting diagnosed with an incurable disease (MS) leaving me and my family to just watch as said disease slowly kills her.’

@Username I would bet that pink-collar jobs can rival low-tier blue-collar jobs in terms of easy to become employed within. Psychologically-immature people can very easily not do well in them, granted, due to people often acting at their worst usually short of doing something illegal to pink-collar workers, and it can oftentimes be very demanding work (depending on the location, company, etc. that you're working for and in what role, but then again, that goes for any sort of job), but there's often jobs open in pink-collar that are in easily accessible locations for most people due to high turn-over and demand.

It’s a grocery store. I work part time because they won’t hand out full time employment because it requires a pay raise. When I work, it’s about 6 days in a row or barely any days. You can’t just ask for more gifts and get them because it’s ultimately up to your manager. I got more hours this week but because of that, my hours are cut for next week. Finding a new job is hard enough, especially dependent on the area you live in and wether you have steady transportation or not. Not everyone can just up and move for a job opportunity and like I’ve been trying to stress to my sis in law, just because you go to college doesn’t mean you’re guaranteed a job in your field.

Have you tried speaking to them about your work schedule? Retail is an interesting case because, while it oftentimes gets a lot of flack for being 'horrible to employees', that is reaaaally dependent on how good the store's team is. You need managers that know what their doing, and co-workers that have their heads and hearts into it. Unfortunately as it is that "able and willing to do job functions" is a needed thing to put in a job description, when people get into a position where it is the case that they are either not able to or not willing to do their job, that is when you run into retail nightmares. When everyone in the store knows what they're doing, positions are filled properly, etc. retail can be a very nice environment to work in outside of the minority of the customers that can be obnoxious. When not? Eeeeh...

It depends on the person. Some people die from MS. Some people live with unpredictable muscle loss and mental breaks that come and go without warning, and the need for medication so expensive that you’ll have to quit all jobs just to get enough government assistance to pay for medical bills because no insurance will cover you for under $1,000 per month for the amount of coverage someone with MS needs. So not always a death sentence but a real shit deal.

The first time I heard one of his vids was when my phone was in my pocket during housework and it auto played over to one of his vids. My first thought was “damn that’s a niiiice manly voice he has there”. On further inspection into his channel, I realised he was a kid. Boy..... that was a tough one to get over 😂

maybe the dude who was complaining saying do i need to slap around a deceased corpse to get some attention shouldn't have made it so obvious that they made up all of those bad things that happened to them, like i doubt that someone who has been through their mother being diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, their uncle being diagnosed with cancer, and their grandma being hit by a car would be complaining online asking for some money for schooling rather than money to help their uncle with his cancer or their mother with her multiple sclerosis or even understanding that life's a bitch and if you just let life do what life does then you and the people around you gonna get hurt, and maybe even knowing that they need to earn their space in society rather than being given everything because i doubt that all the pain their family went through was actively being worked on to be prevented by them, except maybe the grandma, sometimes that shit is out of your hands because some person who's feeling a bit ballsy and/or drunk can just come out of nowhere and run you over before you even have the time to process what's going on
Yes their bitching isn't really going to help. I get their plight and I think wanting an education is a lot better than wanting shit like a manicure, at least with the education you can contribute back to society and you actually have to work hard to get your degree. But if he said something like, "I am working 2 jobs, attending school, and I can't afford my degree because I'll starve" THEN that's different. BTW that scenario happened to people I know in college. Many worked 2 jobs, attended school full time, and lived on their own and couldn't afford anything but 1 meal a day (rice and beans/mac and cheese/ramen). Whenever we had free pizza or food on campus they would take a lot of it with them to feed themselves for the week. Even after all that, most are still in debt after graduating.

It depends on the person. Some people die from MS. Some people live with unpredictable muscle loss and mental breaks that come and go without warning, and the need for medication so expensive that you’ll have to quit all jobs just to get enough government assistance to pay for medical bills because no insurance will cover you for under $1,000 per month for the amount of coverage someone with MS needs.
So not always a death sentence but a real shit deal.
Maybe in Canada but here in America cures are so overpriced and poverty is so prevalent people die from all sorts of things
