In addition to some other disabilities, I have Essential Tremors, which mostly just effect my hands but when severe, gets to my speech causing stuttering or makes me sound like I am literally CHOKING on the words I am saying. It makes it very difficult to communicate when I need medical help. (one of the main tasks my service dog helps with) It sucks, but also, seems like a REALLY weird thing to fake! I obviously have no problem with anyone who stutters in real life, or even makes a joke of their stuttering with subtitles (HUGE shout out to comedian, Drew Lynch, and his hilarious TH-cam channel with his service dog, Stella!!!!), but this fake "nervous anime flirting" stutter stupid, cringey, and borderline offensive. To be fair not all roleplaying is necessarily like this. Dont knock it till you try it. If you do it right it can basically be long-range D&D or the equivalent of writing a book on the go. Just find somebody who is actually literate to do it with and more importantly somebody who WANTS to.

A few years back I tried making friends with this guy cause he didn’t have any and so I felt bad. He didn’t accept my friendliness and began this creepy ass rp trying to “seduce” me...I’m never going to try making friends again.
Had that happen too. Found out he did that to at least 4 other girls before me.
I can relate, and have had this happen more than once. =_= Learned my lessons -be nice, but there's no reason to feel obligated to do something you don't want to. I always was worried about, "Oh no, but I don't want to hurt peoples' FEELINGS! :(" but once these jerks cross your boundaries, it's way past that, and they most definitely don't care about YOUR feelings. They will play you and make you feel sorry for them, but it's all bs to pull you back in.

For anyone who has worked with VA or online content requiring other people and used something like Discord, you've seen this shit so many times that it slowly doesn't even fase you anymore. And it kinda sad that it doesn't. But seriously, this video has helped me so much with this topic. A senior at my school used to talk with me like this. After I blocked him, he would try hugging me on the bus. I told him repeatedly not to. I get what you're saying. australian people's vids are easier to understand thanks to their accent, but i don't think it really matters in the long run. I reccomend putting subtitles on things you don't understand when applicable, always helped me when i learned a new word.
