This may be the strongest prehardmode weapon now...

While most people believe the Night's Edge or the Phoenix Blaster to be the strongest prehardmode weapons in terraria, I'm here to tell you, they're completely wrong.
The wand of sparking is the strongest prehardmode weapon... if you ignore the katana and the aqua scepter in this secret world seed.
This video was created using CapCut on Windows, which is also the only video editor which would run well enough on my computer for such a large project.
I would've procrastinated even longer if it weren't for Cheesyman_118 and their comments on my previous video (Shorts).

I wouldn't count these as "pre-hardmode" weapons, since the whole point of the stat changes in the secret seed is making them functionally hardmode weapons in every way. This isn't any different than grabbing a scaled down hardmode weapon in that seed and bringing it to another world.
Still a great fun fact though, and nice video. Hopefully the next update adding secret seeds to the world creation menu will make them more well known and convenient to play around with.

That's true, I will admit I felt a bit cheap calling them prehardmode weapons, but I still allowed it though since these weapons are generally prehardmode. Thanks for the comment!

Wand of sparkling is good in calamity mod though, the on fire debuff good against king slime and the eye

Calamity is actually how I realized the wand was stronger than I thought! I actually thought it was a rework Calamity did, but a good portion of it is in vanilla too.
