Awesome Video! Just got a 2024 one and really enjoyed hearing your thoughts on yours. I really like the colored engine side panel you put on. The extra accent of color is sweet.
I’m still torn between the 450 ss and the ninja 400. I’m going to check both of them out this Saturday so hopefully that will help me decide. Just from looks alone, the 450 wins hands down imo.
Awesome! Good luck picking one out. Honestly, you can't go wrong with either one. I was very close to pulling the trigger on a 23 KRT N400, but there was just something about this bike that kept pulling me back in...at the end of the day, I love the decision I made and I'm sure you will as well.

Like your contents. Keep up the good works. I am interested in this bike's 2024 version. Looks like it's coming with all blacked out with red accent. I was wondering why your speedometer was showing zero throughout your ride. Was that a digital glitch on the dash? that is concerning if it was glitching.
I literally refreshed my page and saw your comment! Everyone you've talked to has a reason to love this bike. In my opinion it looks SO good, it rides so smooth, it delivers a decent amount of power, and it's different. You really cannot go wrong with any of the "beginner" bikes out there, but this one really does stand out.
These bikes do sound really good with factory exhaust. Idle and low speed sounds are great, but once you get moving a bit you lose some of the exhaust note, which isn't necessarily a bad thing for road trips!
This is actually a windshield from CFmoto directly. They have an accessories catelog you can look through, and you can have your dealer order it directly. However, I'm sure there are also cheaper options on Ali Express as well.

I’ve ordered pretty much everything from Ali Express and/or eBay believe it or not. And as the other person mentioned, that is in fact a steering dampener. It allows me to adjust the stiffness of the steering, which I like to do when I’m cruising on highways at higher speeds.

The steering damper made a noticeable difference for sure. The tension is adjustable so at lower settings the steering feels pretty close to stock. However, as you increase the tension higher and higher, it gets VERY stiff. I like to increase the stiffness a bit when I’m going to be riding on highways averaging 70+ MPH. What I will say is that this kit was ordered from AliExpress, and although the quality doesn’t seem bad at all, I’m curious how well it will hold up over time.
I am concerned about the tight riding position (am an older guy) can I ask you what height and leg size are you to give me a better idea of fit for me.
It seems to do what it's intended to do. I typically leave it on setting 8 when just riding around town, which adds a bit more tension to the steering, but nothing dramatic. If I'm going to be hoping on the highway , I'll bump up the tension to 12 and you can really start feeling a difference then. I ordered mine from aliexpress. Although they all appear to be "branded" differently, they all look pretty much identical. I don't expect it to last forever, but maybe higher quality ones will come out down the road!
