  • ALL GEAR LINKED BELOW!!!!
Best budget setup for IRL streaming, live u and gunrun can run you up in the thousands, not counting the monthly subs that you need to maintain the connections. This set up is simple, at its simplest all you need is a phone a selfie stick and a battery pack, however if you want better views and things to spice up the stream you can add on a mic, usb c hub, and grid to keep it all organized. IF you already have a phone, you can technically get started up and running already!!
** I understand that this is my setup, and it may not be the best for every one, but please feel free to ask questions if you wish to know more! **
Liking, commenting, and subscribing, lets me know you like this video and motivates me to make more, I have a fulltime job and thus this is just my hobby on the side!

Great minimal system!! Would this actually work with a Sony fdr x3000 camera by any chance? And it not how to make it work with an iphone instead of an android?

So with the fdr, you connect to a belabox, or live u system which are bigger and that's what allows you to connect to a server or streaming service. Would have to be a different setup, some belaboxes are pretty small though, but with those and live u, you need heat dissipation or a way for heat to escape whatever bag you have.
I don't personally have an iPhone to test out with, but everything should work the same, just use the iPhone cable equivalents. Irl pro app is in app store too I believe.

@@TokyoRobb Oh very cool thanks for those tips. I'm also gonna try soon live streaming with my 360 cam and the insta360 app server. I it has two options, full 360 and reframe. One thing I actually don't like about the backpack is the cable actually. It limits a lot camera movements so I'm now actually looking at a system that's d be cable free. I heard GoPro app can work pretty well too for that. The problem of a phone is mostly a terrible audio quality and you need a wide lens adaptor as well and so in the end with the mic and the lens adapter you still have a pretty big rig in your hand which again isn't ideal.

I said good bye to the overpriced, overhyped and under-achieving liveu a year ago. It's now a $1500 paperweight.
