1 heat of 10 athletes participating in 3 :30 runs each. Best run counts, scored 1 - 100. Judges will score competitors throughout the contest.

Massive killers but no fillers
to be fair he had 3 really big tricks but his whole run overall wasn’t as good as the other medal runs
Had a few straight jumps with no tricks so it makes sense

Look at the "fast and loose" videos. He and the other guys are insane riding mostly bows.
Gotta say.... Marcus Christopher had one of the ugliest crashes I've ever seen last year. Comes out and drops HAMMER after HAMMER. Maaaaad props.
This might be the best/most interesting lineup theyve ever had. Its too bad boyd couldnt pull a run and sandoval got hurt.
dovey was the only guy who didn't pedal in the bowl
Loupos got robbed.
He had 3 huge jumps with no tricks while Chris was putting out a trick everytime he got in the air, he deserved the score he got lol
Dovey was so enjoyable to watch. In a sea of crazy tricks, he got 6th with Style

It’s a trick contest. No one is buying tickets to see a guy flow a bowl. That’s not how BMX got to the Olympics.

Some of the judging in these X Games has been absolutely ridiculous, in almost every event incredible runs have been underwhelmed by low scores.
Marcus Christopher is incredible, and you can see why he qualified for Paris. His first run was fire, and his second run was an absolute flamethrower. Bonkers
I can't believe the amount of blank walls and transfers after these guys literally just watched Christopher going all out and tricking everything in his time. Easiest 1st place scoring the judges could have. Bro was in another league in terms of how you ride a contest.

Marcus Christopher went pedal to the metal his first run with trick after trick nonstop. Simply amazing!

judging and weather this year was so bad, everyone on all sports came out and shred but idk it was off. big up to X games for making it happen though!!!
Marcus' runs were just bonkers. Speed, complexity, and just constantly doing back-to-back tricks. Storybook comeback story after what happened last year, couldn't be more deserving.

This is a better competition than last year for sure. Not gonna lie though, that one year when they did the individual video series, I wish to he'll they would do that event again.

10 years ago any pro would never have even though of this. Video games
30:15 Some of these riders had to many blank walls. While the guy who is in first place after round one had a hit on ever wall.

I was a Scotty Cranmer vlog watcher way before he had his accident with his head. When he had that guy “fat boy “ in his clips who then betrayed Scotty. Scotty was on a complete different level to other riders.

I truly miss the courses in the 2000's, even 2010-2014..
for some reason Xgames wants to make bmx comps less interesting..... like build the park for bmx riders, and force the skaters to ride it.. not the other way around

I am extremely worried for Sandoval. The crash looked super bad for the spine, I cannot believe he walked away so quickly, let alone rode in the 3rd set. I've seen people get paralyzed from lesser impacts. Hope he is ok. Really weird how so many riders kept casing or underrotating flairs on that exact transition.
They said he was good. He went and got checked at the ER. He competed in best trick today and got robbed lol.

How does someone do double flair, flair double tailwhip and cash roll in a championship and not come in third place?
Need to change head judge and judges, Loupos should be if not winning very very close to it and peraza no where near medal tbh. Very uneven scoring where sometimes they give mad points for tricks and sometimes like peraza for style, I mean u guys need to be consistent.

I don't know what happened to bmx, but in the 90's there was a proper park, not a skate bowl, also in the 90s the biggest air trick (like double flair) will scorest higher, now you get a podium will wallrides. Not surprise FMX took over.
EDIT: and the bikes nowdays are uglys as f*ck

I feel like Loupos, had the most tricks. Peraza had the most flair which has always been his staple and Christopher had the most energy and speed. Loupos I felt like should have won.

Them rewarding dove for an x up the same as a 540 flair is the biggest joke ive ever seen in the xgames. This is why nobody watches anymore. This park was a joke and the judging is a joke. I know many of the riders agree.
