Fascinating interview - firstly to hear about Svana's impressive CV, and how she responded when the call came from ABBA, then to hear about how she felt she could achieve something even after the first iteration failed - which was a brave decision, with a lot at stake. The team who pulled this together really were out on a limb, with no successful precedent. Having seen Voyage multiple times - from the dance floor and from the seats - it's an impressive spectacle every time, because there's so much detail to absorb and such fantastic music, of course! "Will the show evolve?" - Svana replies: "Possibly!" ... that's exciting news, as the new ILM / Kiss avatars can 'react' to the audience - that would be amazing to see in Voyage, fingers crossed!
Great interview. I'm in the USA and I've seen this show. All I can say is please bring it to Las Vegas. It would do amazing there. I do understand wanting to bring the show to Australia though. ABBA's biggest fans are there. 🤩
The video for "Can't Get You Out Of My Head" is so fun and amazing. I was at Voyage three months ago and I look forward to my next time. The concert is captivating.
I have seen the show 4 times and I can’t wait to go back and see it again. Simply put: it’s a wondrous creative experience everyone should experience. 😊
Svana is an amazing woman and Creative. I'm in awe of her even more after watching this superb interview. ABBA really struck gold when they engaged her onto the project, and it seems from many social media posts that she has become good pals with Frida in particular.
I've seen the show 4 times and am anxiously planning a 5th. We visit from Seattle. If I lived near, I'd be there monthly for sure. The live band and sound system transform ABBA music all over again. It's fresh and technical. The energy in the audience is delightful. I've experienced the show from the dance floor and from on-center seating. I can't say which is better. But each is definitely unique. Not to be missed. I wish I could share the experience with others more easily.
Brilliant interview. There would of been no show if it were not for Svana persisting something could be made from that initial idea. A real talented lady. Sadly schools no longer seem to teach practical things like drama so kids never get interested in taking up a career in show business or film making. Years ago many schools had drama as one of their arts options and after school or lunch time activities like photography or film making. Education cut backs and more emphasis on computer technology seems the main focus these days.
Most of the costs in an ABBA Voyage/Arena are in the original design and development. Cloning the result is relatively cheap. Also, the proven success should speed up planning permissions for future venues. Truly investment gold mines! P.s. been 6 times so far.
She created a masterpiece of a show, loved it and going back again. Thank you

Il suo lavoro è meraviglioso.
ABBA Voyage is like what someone who never took drugs would think taking drugs was like
It will never release an Album with the Songs in Voyage played with the live Band???
Funny that they used the same font for Beyond that Bed Bath & Beyond used 🤣
