I was literally at this mall two weeks ago and found some great clothes and stuff at the stores that were still open. Having a grandma that lived in Bullhead, I remember before this mall existed and remember when it opened in 1998 or so. Saw many movies at those theaters, and bought many things in those stores. Crazy to see it the way it is now, I hope the mall can hold on and gain some more stores because it's a really nice spot. One would think the business from tourism alone would be enough to sustain it, plus the locals. But the mall has been struggling for many years, but at least it's decently busy every time I am there.
Wow your grandma lived near by i bet you have some great memories there. I also have family that lives out there but yeah I've been going to this mall since the early 2000s when i would visit and remember the mall not being nearly as dead as it is now. Hopefully it can hang on atleast a little while longer.
Went there today. It’s a ghost town.. very hot inside.. no stores. We didn’t even bother to go to the 2nd floor. Crazy what a difference a year makes. 😢
@@CassiK24bottom floor was all food last few times I was there. And more stores had closed on the second floor the last time I went. Wonder how many more have closed
As a former mall rat, it's hard to believe that the era of malls will soon be gone. In my teens, my mall was the place to be. I worked there, hung out with friends, even saw concerts there (New Kids on the Block & Tiffany!). Appreciate you and Brittany covering these locations before they are gone forever. I totally would have went into that Bath & Body Works outlet though. Take care 🖤
Thank you Nicky 🖤 I'm so glad you enjoyed this one. I have a few more in mind to check out and one that is rumored to close very soon. I also worked at a mall for most of my teens. that's where all my friends were at so needless to say I was in the mall even on my days off. Thanks you again Nicky for taking the time to leave me a comment I always look forward to your comments.
My friend AtoZ Retail and I were there in October for a night. The mall has gotten worse as Pendelton, Carter’s, Claire’s and the movie theater are now closed. Some sort of anime collectibles/gift shop opened in the Carter’s space.
@@909Adventures the mall’s owner Moonbeam is known for just letting these places whither away. The banners that hang in the mall are the same ones they hang at other malls
I just went there a couple weeks ago too. The place was like a ghost town compared to how busy it used to be. The AC wasn't working in the theater, so we decided to go to a different place. Very sad, but now it matches the Colorado Belle across the street.
Yes that's right the Colorado Belle is closed now to. It's amazing how such a touristy area like this is being struck with poverty. The casinos should invest a little into themselves and the area surrounding them to bring everything up to date and maybe the crowds will return because let's face it the casinos and the area around them look a little tired.
@@909Adventures To put on addition or any structural re-work would require them to bring the entire building up to current code. May as well tear it down and do a re-build as most are 50 years old or more.
i came here again to laughlin and i always had since i was a kid. there’s now 3-4 stores open and two more closing. this mall is empty and the escalators and the elevators no longer work! it’s so sad honestly.
I remember when this place was hopping. There are so many dead or dying malls across the country now. I’m amazed that Laughlin is still holding on. I’ve always preferred Laughlin over Las Vegas, especially the Riverside.
Yes I'm surprised as well everytime I drive by I'm surprised to see people walking out of the place and it's not boarded up. I to remember when this place was hopping.
Wow but yes if I lived I. The area that would be the only reason I would visit this mall. Atleast it's not to the point where it's ran down and is still in good condition.
that's crazyyyy,, im 16 n i live here loll there was so many more people than usual !! ive lived here my whole life and I remember when i was in maybe first grade (?) this place used to be packed and soooo cool!! ,, there used to be two photo booths which im bummed they don't have anymore :( and that tornado machine was so fun :D there was also a really big DC store that my brothers used to get back to school clothes from. there was a massive toy store too, and little vendors everywhere, not just that little one ,, i go here alot now for the movies (since the tickets are cheaper than at riverside) + rue and claires but otherwise the stores suck anymore,,, it's just sad to think how icky that mall really is now,,,
Oh wow you live in that area? Yeah o remember that mall used to be more active than it is now and used to have better stores and at least a few places to eat. But seems like you have some great memories here.
I live here I used to also work at one of the stores there and it’s absolutely gone. downhill I used to come here as a kid all the time that used to be popping looking at this makes me so sad.
Yeah, most of the hotels and casinos are pretty rundown and almost no tourist. The colorado bell has already closed down because they were losing money we'll see which casino is next.
Been going to Laughlin for a long time... In the 90's holiday weekends this mall would be popping ... Alot of people would be there.. Now it's like this.. Crazy.... How the hell does the Hat place in stay business for soooo long... Wow.
Oh wow, that's crazy. I remember going here several years ago and all of the stores were open. Crazy that it's this way now. I might have to do an update on it now. Thanks for the info.
I know man trust me, I've tried to get in. I see people getting in from the roof but I'm not that desperate 🤣 and the city is actually in the process of demolishing it.
Unfortunately it's dying like the rest of Laughlin outdated hotels terrible rooms that haven't been updated in decades and malls that just can't hang on. It's sad to see but it's reality
Yeah, I don't know why or how half of the casinos are still open and who is out there saying "let's take a vacation at Laughlin" not much to do there anymore.
it's very sad to see malls disappearing, I've been to this place there was a really good thrift store, I think it was a salvation army place, just sad!

Stuport thank you so much always look forward to your comments and yeah sadly malls for the most part are a thing if the past as malls are now usually filled with people looking for free AC in the summer and a place to escape the rain in the winter. And your very right about the whole first job thing as my first job at 13 years old was in the mall. Had some great times in the mall and because of my age and the younger adult crowd that were also friend and coworkers I probably grew up a little faster than I should have and the things that we did I'm sure nobody would get away with these days or even want to attempt 😉. I still kick myself for some of the things I passed or missed out on, I hope you are able to read between the line here as I try to keep this as PG as I can lol. The only malls here in Las Vegas that are doing well are the tourist area ones
Yeah, I kinda figured that one. That's unfortunate.

As of right now, I have no idea.
Malls going the way of the dodo. Have lost 4 malls here in AZ in the last 5 years I’ve lived here.
Yeah, there dropping like flys that's for sure. Amazon and Walmart putting them out of business
