We met Dixie here once when the museum was still here. She was a short lady about 4'10 or mayve maybe 5 ft at the most and wore wore dark wrap around glasses even indoors. The museum was mainly 8X10 frames photos of famous dancers and some display cases. There was a meetting hall also with a stadge and large sitting area. UI hate to see it all destroyed now. Glad the museum was able to move after her death..

Mum and i had a 15 day holiday from Sydney, Australia to the western USA in 1975. We stayed at the Circus Circus. I cant believe how much Las Vegas has changed over the last 49 years. Back then there was only the Stardust,Riviera, Wedding Chapel, Westward Ho Casino Motel, the old MGM Grand, The Sands, Caesars Palace, Golden Nugget,and of cause, Circus, Circus.
