DIRTY HOTEL in CANCUN, MEXICO!!! 🇲🇽 $300 a NIGHT for THIS???

This is really a video about TWO trips to Mexico!
I went to Cancun with Raul and Gina to get away from the snow in New York City. We chose an all-inclusive hotel right on the Zona Hotelera (Hotel Zone) so that we did not have to leave the resort. From the title, you can see the hotel was not at all what we expected. We traded rooms three times, and the final room was not even completely clean--and this all happened during COVID times! The hotel's response was that since this was an old construction we should "expect" all of the rooms to look this way. When you pay $300 a night for a room, you at least expect the dead insects, hair and cobwebs to be removed! We were also told that we could not get reservations for any of the all-inclusive restaurants because for the duration of our stay they were completely booked--forcing us to head outside of the hotel and pay for dinner, while we were already paying for the all-inclusive.
We left after 2 days, and I proceeded to have an email argument with the hotel staff who, after several days of back and forth, finally agreed to a refund! We took the refund and decided to try Cancun again, but this time, we added Tulum onto our trip! We used a bit more skill in choosing our hotel, and this time stayed at the J.W. Marriott Hotel--which was fantastic!
