I remember watching this on telly and I was so nervous for Roop! He could’ve gone home with half a million pounds but nobody wants to purchase box 23 with £250k in case they go home with absolutely NOTHING! £250k is a huge amount of money!😊😊😊
It's a shame (but in a way, a wise decision) that Roop decided not to risk it all and go for Box 23, as it would've been by far the biggest whopping the Banker had ever received. But all in all, he promised his daughter the confetti, and he delivered. My hat is off to you sir.
46k was a insult glad he took em for the lot after that. I watched it live when it aired I felt he was a gambler but the banker didn't seem to buy it which i found odd as he was very consistent about going for it . I felt the final offer was a insult and so glad he knew it and turned it down I was legit jumping when he won the 250k served em right for lowballing him.
when box 23 revealed double you could see the guilty look on the face of roop's wife and he looked a bit dissapointed in her. PS: when anne (the next person after roop) won the 250k noel reminded her about roop's game and he said roop blamed his wife for missing out on 500k. Noel in anne's game: And he said had it not been for the fact his wife was sitting up there and he needed to behave hee would have gone it. most times contestants get screwed out of big money on deal or no deal is because of their family or their partner.
It’s just stupid to gamble even if you had 5 million in the bank. The ev is just bad the nothing and 500k balance out as a 250k swing and the 250 box is obvs neutral but then you can win 10k more or 125k less so overall the ev is -115k. Anyone who’d go for it here would honestly have to be so daft
I get the feeling that the contestants that won 250 grand didn’t really need the money as no normal person who was struggling financially would gamble so much money. It’s ridiculous!
@@elainejones9299 I dont know what you are trying to say. What I do know is that No one in their right mind would have risked 250.000, and that all else is cheap talk, as people have no money involved.
I'll be honest, if that was me in that position I'd have asked for the question in seconds. We've seen the banker offer double that with a worse climax before and an insulting offer like that I'd feel mugged, haha
@@greenonline5469 That's a lot easier to say beyond a computer screen than when playing the game for real, to be fair. While I agree £46,000 was a very poor offer for that finish, had I been in Roop's shoes, especially with his wife and daughter urging him to Deal, I could easily see myself reluctantly dealing that.
@@bencalebrod No, I've seen the banker offer nearly double that with a final climax very similar to this, I would never deal feeling like I've been mugged off. If he offered £75K, then yeah admittedly that's where I would do what you would probably do - reluctantly take it, but £46K is a joke for what was left. Also, if I got the £250K to the final two boxes, the first thought in my mind would be about buying a house, so unless the banker could offer something high enough to get a reasonable deposit, I'd be prepared to risk it all for that big chance.
ALMOST A HALF A MILLION POUND WINNER if I went on the show and won a Quarter of a Million Pounds and dealt at Box: 23 It said DOUBLE I win two boxes my box and Box: 23

@@ryanwade6019 Agreed. You’d certainly feel you made a bad decision but you’d still have the 250k. Take Ann who won 250k and said no deal on the box that contained nothing. You’d feel much worse losing out on an extra 250k than you would on gambling the 250k and winning nothing

yeah, but some of these contestants get so hyped up they start believing in destiny and magical thinking, logic can quickly go out the window, forgetting that in the end it's just the pure chance of randomly assigned boxes.
