well it's clearly the wrong reel . waiting to hear back from seller to see what they're going to do .. I've already sent a pic showing it's the wrong one..
I'll be interested to see if the seller is good to work with. I am leery of Kingdom Microfly's credibility since their super thin supposedly 9 lb test braid actually measured around 3 lb test and caused me to miss a really nice fish.
Mmm that sux BnB they sent you the 8 to 1 which only has one spool vs the 7 to 1 which has the extra spool. I have the 2 spool one and this isn't gonna make you feel any better but IMO it fishes way better with the deep spool.For some reason the brakes work better with it and it still casts the light BFS stuff but handles the upper stuff better than the tiny spool . Very versatile.Hope they send you the shallow spool and for your trouble an extra gift or 2. Your not the only one this has happened to either. Another TH-camr Angling with Aaron they sent him the 8 to 1 like yours with the purple spool same as you. Great little reels by the way, all of them but be nice if they send you exactly what you ordered.

Just out of curiosity but did you order the Acura reel? Same dual spool option, same static brake system but they have 2 extra bearings vs the micromonster and 1 more on the DWU.
What rod are you putting it on the micro monster is a darker silver with very light purple almost or maybe pink anodized aluminum and the Acura is Bright silver with black basically but the spool and spool tension knob are sort of a crazy color that if I had to name I would call champagne silver
@@bassnbonsai not sure yet. Probably a mL or L rod. I’m not planning on going too light. 6 grams and up probably. I like Ned rigs and small weightless plastics. I could probably use my Zillion for all that but I’d like to have two reels and rods. I’ll end up using the deeper spool probably.

Yeah this reel would probably be excellent on the feeling rod but I'm thinking like you that the deep spool is gonna make the reel way more versatile
You received the 8.1 instead of the 7.1. The 7.1 is far superior

@@bassnbonsai how do you put braid on bfs reels without diggin in or slipping? Use tape? I’m assuming no mono backing due to small spool capacity
