Andrew Yap bro thankyou so much for this. I was going to do something similar but I was so worn out after editing for so long I just wanted to get it out there so respect man! This really means a lot and I’m sure people will find it useful too!
@@tomthummer eyy haha i only do this cos i think your stuff is worth really studying and learning from :) thanks for the amazing tutorials haha i'm looking forward to more music from you!
I did about 200 drawings for this. Now my brain is mush. I hope u guys dig it! I might do a live QNA in a few days to answer any questions u might have about the technique. would this help?
I love your videos! You Are Amazing! Also, I'm not going to subscribe because I know if I do, you won't upload until 2 or 3 years later or maybe even stop. It happens to me every time I subscribe to music channels.
I try your beats to learn and make it perfect... since it has been 7 months i started to learn beatbox.... and Can you make the tutorial of your special beats that you use....
Honestly... I don't have any desire to learn beatboxing. However I find the "how to" element very interesting. Getting a more in depth understanding of what's going on from the experts point of view. Also I'm sure many aspirering beatboxers will find this truly beneficial. Thank you Tom.
@@tomthummer The effort really shines through if you ask me. It's easy to tell you put blood, sweat and tears into it. The effects are dope and you somehow made learning fun and enjoyable. Respect!
This and your previous vocal scratch tutorial are honestly the best beatbox tutorials I've come across on the 'net! Most TH-camrs fail to break it down as well as you do. Please do more!
Trez Spre I see your point. I tried to practice the lip roll for ages but couldn't get it. Perfection is an illusion. It's a matter of opinion of what the individual considers perfect.
the first minute was probably the most exciting music I've ever heard! There is a lot I can learn from you as a young beatboxer! Thank you Mr. Tom Thum!
This guy never ceases to amaze me! I've been watching all his videos for years, but every new one still makes my jaw drop. He is the beatbox god! I have never seen any other beatboxer come even close to what this guy can do... He's the Eminem of Beatbox.
You're an absolute legend mate! I The fact that you take the time to show people your techniques and go as far as making an almost karaoke style instructional video for all your fans... well that's just awesome.
How on earth did you manage to compact that much quality information into 9 minutes is absolutely beyond me but good work my good sir. I'm not gonna be even remotely close to doing any of this anytime soon, but I really appreciate the fact that this exists so that when I eventually feel like doing inward scratches I have something this indepth from one of the very best at the technique
Hands down the greatest tutorial video i have ever seen. Also to give away secrets as to what has defined you as the greatest vocal sctrach beatboxer in the world says alot. I also find it unfair. I had to watch my video of you vocal scratching at southbank when we had the HBB meet up decades ago when that guy came out from the u.k. i had that 30 sec 280p video on loop fpr years to learn your inward scratch. Then you strapped on a bike helmet and did some headspins whilst scratching haha.
john doe haha I held on to my secrets for years like some sort of Gollum. Then I figured if I put out my best stuff to learn it would probably push me to create more hectic stuff if I have nothing left to fall back on. We’ll see! Haha yeah the good ol headspin bbox days!
Damn, know this sound for almost 15 years and finally you help me to get into this fundamental one! I helped me out with the crap scratch, but this one comes closer to the original "fresh" sample from djs... thanks a lot tom!!!
What an incredible Tutorial. I can’t wait to get out of class and grind the hell out of practicing these scratches. Thanks so much Tom! Much love from Canada
i love the fact, how passionate you are with beatbox and you want to give it to the people too! its sad how youtube changed, i guess they doesnt support quality anymore...
FGM - Full Gaming Motion! Yeah to be honest I don’t think I will go this tech again. It was a lot of effort for not much algorithmic preference. I’m glad people appreciate it though!
@@tomthummer its understandable, youtube is changing in a bad way, like most of the things now days, support comes short, people get bored fast... i m just a regular beatboxer, started 10years ago and do it for fun, i cant even imagine how exhausted i would be after such a session... anyway, i love your videos, keep it up! :D

your a good beatbox teacher, iv watched a few tutorials, but yours are easier to learn from, iv seen where they try to show but still cant learn from them, i mean i learned the trumpet without even knowing you had a tutorial on it, becouse i saw u doing it, and then watched closer and saw you "bit" your lip, did the same and learned the sound after 3-5 tries, and then iv just practice to improved, to get cleaner sound
