12:01 Great tutorial but think you skipped the final crucial step of how to do the lazer whistle while your lips are oscillating, since the lazer whistle relies on the bottom lip placement to perform?
I ended up learning the ralik whistle (see Heartzel's tutorial) which doesn't need the lips at all, so then combined that with vocals and lip oscillation to get a sound very close to this one. Took practice to get the whistle to a lower pitch than he default ralik whistle which is quite high pitched.
It's so weird I can do the whistle and the lip bass but when I try to combine it my tongue starts doing a tongue bass because of the vibration of the lips

Yeah right? But tbh i was a bit confused by the texture of the sound as well, initially i thought it was just a falsetto lip oscillation with some weird distortion coming from the handheld mic (which i at the time didnt realize was the laser whistle)

I know how to do many variations of whistles aswell and do lip oscillation whistles/lasers just kind of for fun lol also trying to mimic birds outside 😂.. And I’d have a more in depth explanation myself and not just sounding like peon but explaining things through chat is hard AF
This is the most high quality beatbox tutorial I have ever watched. Most of the tutorial at this advance level are from phone record with not that good audio. So very happy to a tutorial in this good quality especially of a advance sounds.

When you hold the tongue to the roof of the mouth do you keep it there with the suction of the tongue to the top or are you meant to just hold it there while giving the underneath enough room to create the whistle?
Hey can i ask you about throat bass (i still learning), is it normal when u start to learn throat bass and then u cough like when u choking on spit ( btw are throatbass suppose to be higher than normal talking voice)
Yeah, it's quite normal. Just dont go past your limits and tr not to hurt yourself. ❤ In the beginning your throat bass may be a little higher pitched, but then it will later be more confortable to do lower notes

In my case the whistle becomes weaker when I add the lip oscillation and nowadays I am just practicing to fix this by making my whistle strong when the lip oscillation is added. And bro how do u go about d-koy whistle I have now idea but when I practice rarely some thing comes like if u know karra from Iran his whistle like thing, is that a right path

It depends on where the gap is and how big it is i think. From my experience, when i first learned this whistle i had a major gap between my 2 front teeth and i had braces also, and it worked

Hey bro, just wondering, can u do rayul's lip bass? If yes, then pls make a tutorial on it. Rayul has a video about this sound, but it's literally just "make a duck position, blow air", the most obvious thing ever to say 😭. The problem is that there are tons of ways how to blow air and what muscles in your lips to focus on and I struggle with this part. It's a type of sound that to some comes naturally and some stuggle with it for weeks, but I believe that it can be explained deeper than Rayul did. Idk whom to ask, most people just say obvious things, they don't actually study the sounds they make, but u seem to be kinda nerdy in beatboxing haha. So if u could explain this sound, that would be great
