- The BCS Tool Carrier Kit is required to install any BCS Drag Implement, including the Ridger, Root Digger, Subsoiler, V-Cultivator, and Bed Shaper (available November 2017). This video explains how to install the Tool Carrier Kit, which features a new and improved mounting configuration as of July 2017.
If you already own the previous Tool Carrier which mounts to the hitch of your BCS tractor, you can upgrade your unit to be PTO-mounted by purchasing the Draw Bar Hitch found at this link: bcsamerica.com/product/tool-c...

Are the Ridger or Subsoiler strong enough to rip tree roots? Smaller ones obviously, I'm not talking about pulling stumps with it. I have a LOT of roots throughout my land that I will be clearing and wondering if you have a suggested implement if these won't do it...possibly the rotary plow?
SIDE BAR: Have yall ever thought about making a Stump Grinder and Ditch Witch?
I ask because a lot of equipment places won't even rent them anymore due to high maintenance costs - I'd have to travel about 8 hours each way to rent one) so it would be cost effective to purchase instead, well, for me anyway...so...yea, make one...just for me! lol. Didn't mean that to sound self-centered so I had to make light of it :)
not sure where to ask this, but I am having a hell of a time getting my rotary plow out of the quick hitch. I have greased it well, but it is so stinkin tricky, I know I avoid changing implements b/c of it. Do you have any suggestions?

Quick hitches have a VERY small tolerance when it comes to proper alignment. We suggest reinstalling and carefully following these directions. Call if you have questions! 1-800-543-1040

I believe if you have 5×10 wheels the rectangular bar should be mounter on top of the pto, with larger wheels, below. Ive tried with a plough using 5×10 wheels. Positioned apove pto, tractor is level. Positioned below, the engine almost hits the ground!
Yes, depending on your tractor model and the wheels you have installed, there are different ways to install the Tool Carrier.

Is the quik hitch necessary to use this?
Not at all. The Drawbar Hitch can be mounted directly to the tractor without a Quick Hitch. But it certainly makes it easier to go from a PTO-driven tool to a drag implement. No tools required. Thanks for asking!
