@@dropdead9948 yes it easily stands with iron man 1 , T.D.K . Snyder gave me the superman that I always wanted . Flawed yet perfect , confused yet focused and at last a human .
This would've been full circle because zack said that in JL 3 Superman was going to lead the people of earth into a battle against darkseid which is why this line makes so much more sense now "They will race behind you, they will stumble, they will fall. But in time, they will join you in the sun, Kal.”
I think this perfectly describes what zack's first three movies have gone through when it comes to criticism. Man of steel was loved and hated by some, BvS was unliked by most, and zack snyder's justice league was loved by most from what I've seen.
I remember a guy making a father comparison with those two, saying that Superman is the kind of father who will catch his kids smoking and try to talk them out of it, trying to make them see why they shouldn’t do it. Batman is the type who would make his kid smoke the whole pack in one go so that they would never want to see a smoke again in their lives.
@@alexman378 I like that. I’m more Batman. Make him smoke a lot of pack he can never try again. If he bullies a kid, I’ll embarrass him in front of class.
@@muhammadridho7680 Literally every major character in his Justice League had character development and Superman and Batman had it throughout the two precursor movies. Where do you think the plot was lacking? All 3 movies were more fleshed out than even Marvel's movies.
What I love about Superman is that he's not like other heroes, a traumatized child without parents, a formidable warrior without fear of anything, and a blonde speedster capable of running at the speed of light, he's just a Boy Scout from Kansas who always does the right thing, I hope Gunn makes a good adaptation of him in the cinema, I trust him.
I love how in every other Snyder film, the Superman theme feels unfinished and like it builds to something that never comes. It's beautiful, but feels like potential... like you want to know what comes next. (Like a heroic version of Nolans Joker theme that constantly rises, but in a way that gives you anxiety.) In this film, this score... it finally finishes. It finally comes full circle and we get to feel what was only mysterious potential before. It feels complete. Superman is now complete. It feels so goooood!
This version makes me think of the final battle in Final Crisis where literally every single alternate version of Superman in the Multiverse shows up at once to help mainline Superman fight Mandrakk the Dark Monitor.

What pisses me off is that he didn't at least get the sendoff he deserved. I imagined a Man of Steel 2 with him, Snyder director and Zimmer composer and at the very end in the post credit scene a emotional message like: Thank you Henry Cavill for being a trully Man Of Steel 2013-2023
“All of these changes that your going through, one day you will see them as a blessing. And when that day comes, you will have to make a choice, a choice of whether you stand proudly in front of the human race or not” -Jonathan Kent Whenever I listen to this, I just think of Kal making that choice of standing proudly in front of the human race
When I've first heard this music, I cried a bit on how beautiful this is. This is the true Return of Superman. The Man of Steel and World's Greatest Champion.
Truly very sad for every DC fan out there. This theme was meant to be heard in theaters. The true potential of the snyderverse could've have embraced fans from all over for decades to come.
Kal El/Superman (Man of Steel): «You’re scared of me because you can’t control me. You don’t, and never will. But that doesn’t mean i’m your enemy» 🙏🏼😭💯
The Snyderverse is underrated. The Injustice storyline it was going for is awesome. We got great music as well from these films, especially in ZSJL. And fantactic character moments that were sorely lacking in Josstice League.
It never was Injustice. The knightmare timeline was inspired by the JLA Rock of Ages comic. Superman being controlled by Darkseid is quite different than Superman choosing to be evil, like in Injustice.
Whedon cut: JL are losing badly and arent fighting as a team then Sups joins the fight and finishes everything by himself Snyder cut: JL are working as a team and are actually wrecking Steppenwolf and his forces then Sups joins fight and helps them wreck them even more and they win *AS A TEAM* with each member having a specific valuable job which helps them win
To be unnecessarily pedantic, the last bit is more of "What Are You Going to Do When You Are Not Saving the World?" rather than "Flight". I say this as someone who's binged a good deal of the former and will always have it in their top 10 list of orchestral/epic pieces.
Jor-El : You will give the people of Earth an ideal to strive towards. They will race behind you, they will stumble, they will fall. But in time, they will join you in the sun, Kal. In time, you will help them accomplish wonders. Superman in this movie gave me the warm feeling of hope , and thats what supes is all about. Great movie!
It’s a great theme, but for a different era of Superman. Williams’ score doesn’t suit Cavill’z Superman OK (same way this wouldn’t suit Reeves’) and that’s OK, because this is perfect for him.
Henry Cavill like Christopher Reeves and Tom Welling and Tyler Hoechlin is born for role as superman . Henry Cavil isn’t just a British actor . He is the man of tomorrow. The world needs superman and Henry is that guy. Fly son it’s time .

Please tell me you’re making a cover of every League member’s theme, then making the last one the Justice League theme from the Snyder Cut with motifs of the each Leaguer then mixing in some of the original animated and unlimited theme. Please...
The Selfless, Embodiment of Hope, the one who will sacrifice all for a different species, The Last Son of Krypton, A man with no people, the first comic book hero to make boys and girls feel hopeful during our real struggles in a world war, this man is fantasy, this man was written for reality, this man is .. The Man of Steel.
I don't care what anyone says, this will always be my favorite superman. Not because of the cool suit or godly powers but because of the symbol he represents. hope In a dark modern world. Above all his gifts. He chose to be human first. People may not like him because he isn't the perfect never makes mistakes boy scout we know, but maybe that's not the superman we need anymore. Maybe the world just needs a man that cares so much about it to do the right things because they are right. Not for some moral high ground. It's time we have a superman we can relate to, while also aspire to emulate.
The Superman we got in Zack Snyder's Justice League was only at step 3 of his 5 film character arc which would have concluded with him becoming the big blue, no mistakes boy scout. Maybe one day we will see that. For now though I completely agree with you, this version of Superman is awesome and is MY Superman..
I never get tired of this. This is Superman themed perfection. It has everything you want in the music and everything you want that fits Supes character in the sound.

(Like a heroic version of Nolans Joker theme that constantly rises, but in a way that gives you anxiety.)
In this film, this score... it finally finishes. It finally comes full circle and we get to feel what was only mysterious potential before. It feels complete. Superman is now complete. It feels so goooood!

I don't know which I love more, the classic John Williams score or or this one. They're both so beautiful.
