The DC Snyderverse movies are Masterpieces, but what makes it better is, each is better than the last. (The "trilogy") Man of steel - The journey of a hero BvS - Faith in humanity. That no matter the darkness , we can be better Zack Snyder Justice League - Hope. Hope for a better tomorrow... No matter what the future says. As long as there is hope/faith, there is a way ,a chance and if there are hopeful people in the world, good will always prevail. And good thing inspiring hope/faith ! Is a driving factor for the heroes. " Make your own past, make your own future" - The flash. Meaning, don't let the dark times dictate how your life goes . "We are six not five ! There is no us without him" - Bruce Wayne/Batman. Meaning, With hope/faith, you can do anything. Miracles happen ! "This is my world..... YOU ARE MY WORLD LOIS" - Superman. Meaning, Even in a realistic/untrusting world, Superman LOVES the world he calls home and proves his humanity by LOVING Lois more. That is how Zack Snyder saw The DC Universe.
This trilogy (MoS, BvS and the SnyderCut) for me personally is perfection. Is art. Its pure cinematografy and the script is really ok too. Sure these are a darker version of Batman, of Superman and Co. Its a darker universe, its not the jolly Superman we all knew and the Batman we loved. But thats ok, those characters will have a change to be brought to life in future projects, hopefully with the Gunn Universe, but these movies and Zacks vision is so unique and different, more brutal but at the same time so deep and profound. They really, combined, make for a Masterpiece of a Trilogy in my opinion.
BvS is garbage, even by the standards of Justice League and the other DC flops. Snyder's vision was impressive (even if I disagreed strongly with a lot of it, particularly Batman and machine guns), but the studio completely kicked it in the teeth and released nearly unwatchable trash.
@@willchurch8376 Dawn of Justice Ultimate version is actually awesome. Complaining about Batman using guns only highlights the lack of knowledge that Batman on his debut used them. Even Frank Miller version and the animated version have him used fire weapon. The movie clearly mentioned how Batman was different and the knightmare scene showed why he had to use fire weapons in the world that went to shit because of Darkseid and mind controlled Superman.
Jor-El: The symbol of the house of El means hope. Embodied within that hope is the fundamental belief in the potential of every person to be a force for good. That's what you can bring them. All the hopes and dreams of Krypton live in you now. Your mother and I loved you. Your heart was tested. But you gave hope to their world. Love them, Kal. The way we loved you.
The scene with Superman thinking of his 2 dads reminds me a lot of Smallville's series finale where that Clark is spoken to by his 2 dads before flying for the first time.
Batman: “There’s a design flaw. Take out the tower, the dome will fall. The enemy never anticipated a frontal assault” Steppenwolf: “Why did you say that like it’s all my fault?”
You were a good Superman, Henry. We are truly grateful to you for bringing Clark Kent to life and making us believe a man can fly. Your portrayal of Superman was nothing short of phenomenal. Now it is time for another young actor to take on the mantle. Hopefully, he will do it justice. David, I wish you all the best
So EPIC! The fact this wasnt able to be seen in theaters is a tragedy, this WAS that superman moment everyone was waiting for, the culmination of his journey from MoS to here 🔥🔥🔥
I like how this showed he is able to be less forceful with his powers now unlike the first movie where the build up was more violent than it was here and is able to be more calm with it

It's funny, but comics-wise, the black suit is designed to absorb solar radiation faster than his normal suit. However, being supercharged by the Mother Box means Clark already had his full Kryptonian strength and powers back the moment he was resurrected. Case in point, it's the reason he was basically a walking shell when he first woke up. He woke up with his powers and his body intact, but the mind hadn't yet reformed, meaning what was there was total Kryptonian instinct and power, but nothing controlling it. And when he walked through the hall of suits, seeing all of the various suits that were there, from the more regal battle armor native to Krypton, to the suit that would allow him to breathe in space, to the battle armor Zod and his cohort wore when they came to Earth, to the classic Superman suit, he walked past them. He chose not to wear those because they were not who he was in that moment. He was not yet ready to embrace himself as Superman quite yet. But what he could do was embrace a side of his identity he rejected for a good portion of his life, the Kryptonian side. The black suit represented his heritage, but still carried the symbol the world recognized as Superman. It meant he was finally able to embrace both sides of himself, the human and the Kryptonian. He fulfilled Jor-El's dream of having learn what it meant to be human before learning what it meant to be Kryptonian. And he fulfilled Jonathan's dream of understanding his reason for being on Earth, and it did indeed take the rest of his life to do it. Wonderful writing, and an epic moment.
I don't know if he was supercharged, or if his rebirth works like one of those videogame setups and buffs where the character has a status buildup until he/she loses it upon death, followed by a special buff that momentarily revives the character with a sliver of power.
No one can replace Henry Cavill. No one has potential, skills, good understanding of dramatic techniques, ability to enter in the character etc like he have... All DC fan will miss you😭😢😢

For my opinion about ZSJL, as much as surprising is for you, Snyder Cut is my favorite superhero movie thus far. And if you’ll probably still say to me that it’s not that good, then F*CK my life!
Most of these people just hate Zack Snyder and love to trash his films. I knew there were haters of this movie when I saw several comments calling it not just overrated but barely better than the theatrical cut. There have also been comments stating that the Snyder Cut is pretty much the same film as the theatrical. When I asked that person to explain how exactly are they the same, their only response was that it had the same plot. Not only was that a very disingenuous statement but just overall dumb. What's funny to me is how can these people be surprised that the plot remained similar when it's literally hinted towards the end of Batman V Superman of Steppenwolf's arrival and trying to gather the mother boxes. That's was always the plot of the Justice League film even before studio interference from WarnerBros.
Makes me emotional, call me soft but this scene wants to make me genuinely do good in the world and lead people to the right path. Cavill is such an incredible and inspirational actor gonna miss him as Superman 😢😢😢💔💔🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿

The work James Gunn has done for Marvel has been one of the best. And a new Superman should be welcomed. But just as much as what WB and now James Gunn are doing is contemptible, Cavill's Superman and Affleck's Batman should be treated with respect. They can do it with the Multiverse, so why not? I don't understand. (I'm a Japanese fan, so sorry if my English isn't good)
Either you love or "hate" Zack Snyder as a director, you can't deny he did a great job with Henry Cavill as superman. Him and Zack gave the character a sense of greatness that didn't need to resemble Christopher Reeve's version. I love Zack Snyder's work, and it's a shame that Henry is out
I respectfully disagree. Zack didn't do a good job with Henry Cavill as Superman because he simply didn't allow Henry Cavill to act like Superman. This has nothing to do with Christopher Reeve's Superman. It has to do with Superman in general. The whole "maybe" scene with Jonathan Kent, letting Jonathan Kent die when he could have saved him even without exposing himself, the excess collateral damage in Smallville and Metropolis, forcefully having Superman kill Zod when the other Kryptonians were sent back to the phantom zone, having Superman ram a normal man through multiple walls, the mishandling of his battle with Batman when all he had to do was explain the situation to avoid the fight, the unearned death of Superman, the forced battle with the justice league, the unnecessary brutality against Steppenwolf in the snyder cut, the disconnect from humanity and the justice league in the Snyder cut, and setting up Superman to be a villain. I honestly don't think that Zack understands Superman.
@StareachValcin I honestly think you never watched a comic XD. when superman fights there is destruction all the time you just cherry picking. I csnt believe somebody would watch a scene and feel bad for the destruction. seems so silly.
Zack originally planned Supes to wear that in the Knigjtmare movies when he is under Darkseid's control. But unfortunately they won't be made so we would never get that epic moment.
Too everyone who lost their parents or love ones keep fighting no matter the pain . They live on in us . Easier said than done I know. You've got this.
I like how people are accusing Snyder of being edgy for picking the black Superman suit when in truth, he picked black because the color represents Clark's humanity.
Gunn is blind to the fact Cavill is the defacto Superman his built and body conforms to what is the man of steel. He is superman and WB will lose who know how much for not casting him to play the part. That 1st Superman movie was an instant classic. How anyone think part II would not be any better is beyond me.

love how he literally has his own gravity field, like not just fly from nothing.
Superman flying gives me Goosebumps every time!
“Stand proud in front of the human race or not…”
Then the boomtube opens with Superman being the first thing Darkseid sees between him and humanity so poetic!
Jor-El gave Superman powers…
Jonathan Kent gave Superman a golden heart…
To me, Henry Cavill's Superman is THE Superman, I will miss him
This is why the Snyderverse needs to be restored

Sad part is that, even though Gunn understands the "human element", more than most (and why his Guardians, Suicide Squad and Peacemaker family/cast have nothing but love and praise for him), he's ALSO very "woke".
Be expecting the current agenda to be in every DC movie, from here on out, probably even WORSE than what's currently going on in the MCU.
@@johndanielsforJesus pls STFU 🤡. POC can be in these movies, Women can have major parts in movies. Stop with everything has to have " White ppl or Men" in the lead roles or have all the roles. Y'all be killing me with that racist undertone sh*t

Zack Snyder es la diferencia entre hacer películas de super héroes y hacer Cine.
Esto claramente es Cine.
The DC Snyderverse movies are Masterpieces, but what makes it better is, each is better than the last.
(The "trilogy")
Man of steel - The journey of a hero
BvS - Faith in humanity. That no matter the darkness , we can be better
Zack Snyder Justice League - Hope. Hope for a better tomorrow... No matter what the future says. As long as there is hope/faith, there is a way ,a chance and if there are hopeful people in the world, good will always prevail. And good thing inspiring hope/faith ! Is a driving factor for the heroes.
" Make your own past, make your own future"
- The flash. Meaning,
don't let the dark times dictate how your life goes .
"We are six not five ! There is no us without him"
- Bruce Wayne/Batman. Meaning,
With hope/faith, you can do anything. Miracles happen !
"This is my world..... YOU ARE MY WORLD LOIS"
- Superman. Meaning,
Even in a realistic/untrusting world, Superman LOVES the world he calls home and proves his humanity by LOVING Lois more.
That is how
Zack Snyder saw
The DC Universe.
DCEU may have gone, but it will always live inside our heart. Don’t cry because it’s over, smile because it happened. Goodbye DCEU
💯😞😞🦸✌🏿
It also lives on in Earth-27 in some facets.
We will miss you Henry. My Superman for all time!
Henry Cavill will forever be the best Superman ever played in the big screen
Don’t let boomers hear you say that. They think it’s still 1978
3:38 this shot pretty much tells everything about what superman is
This trilogy (MoS, BvS and the SnyderCut) for me personally is perfection.
The DCEU has a five film story arc. MOS, BVS, and ZSJL including WW and DASS.
BvS is garbage, even by the standards of Justice League and the other DC flops. Snyder's vision was impressive (even if I disagreed strongly with a lot of it, particularly Batman and machine guns), but the studio completely kicked it in the teeth and released nearly unwatchable trash.
@@andrewforte3852i thibk Aquaman too
@@willchurch8376 Dawn of Justice Ultimate version is actually awesome.
Henry cavill is and will always be the best superman of all time. Nothing can change that.

Jor-El: The symbol of the house of El means hope. Embodied within that hope is the fundamental belief in the potential of every person to be a force for good. That's what you can bring them. You will give the people of Earth an ideal to strive towards. They will stumble, they will fall. They will join you in the sun, Kal. You will help them accomplish wonders.
The enemy never anticipated a frontal assault”
Steppenwolf: “Why did you say that like it’s all my fault?”
3:34 the most beautiful shot in the entire DCEU!
How the fck did WB mess up this masterpiece ?
They've been messing up. All they make is Batman movies. They could of been expended the DC universe
I will forever regret we never got to see the rest of this Universe
Damn😭
You were a good Superman, Henry. We are truly grateful to you for bringing Clark Kent to life and making us believe a man can fly. Your portrayal of Superman was nothing short of phenomenal. Now it is time for another young actor to take on the mantle. Hopefully, he will do it justice. David, I wish you all the best
"I know it's been hard, Clark. But u gave Hope to their world. You need to show them who you are... LOVE THEM, Kal. THE WAY WE LOVED YOU. Fly, Son"
So EPIC! The fact this wasnt able to be seen in theaters is a tragedy, this WAS that superman moment everyone was waiting for, the culmination of his journey from MoS to here 🔥🔥🔥
I like how this showed he is able to be less forceful with his powers now unlike the first movie where the build up was more violent than it was here and is able to be more calm with it
The shot at the end where Superman is hovering over earth soaking up the sun was so epic and cinematic 👨🍳🙌🏽
@ same best Superman ever 🐐🙌🏽
No one else can be Superman. Because no one else has his soul.

Henry Cavil was robbed by studio short-sightedness and greed. What I'd give for a proper Man of Steel sequel with him...please WB give us a "elseworlds" superman movie with an older, more experienced superman played by Henry Cavil.
Seeing the Justice League prepare for battle is one of the most epic things ever.
Fuck man... I was far from ready for the Snyderverse to stop. Just look how damn good this looks, it's never going to look better then this
Dumbasses: "Henry Cavill's superman is too dark and brooding!"
This scene:
I will never ever understand why many people hated this movie. Because many, MANY people told me on the internet that it’s overrated.

Man Zack Snyder made Superman awesome and almost inspiring man. The man of steel theme always gives me that feeling of hope.
Fly son, its time.

Jack Snyder Is GOAT...No matter what people's says
I like how people are accusing Snyder of being edgy for picking the black Superman suit when in truth, he picked black because the color represents Clark's humanity.
In the comics he wears a black suit when healing after death
