I managed 113 years with my latest, mid-run ruler. He did not have the Temperate trait, but he had two books that gave medium boosts to health, the Octegenarians Dynastic Legacy, Strong of Body (and spent the last 15 years of his life in the medicine focus). The one thing he did not get, late in his life that would have probably given him another 10-15 years was a pet cat. He had a pet dog, but at its absolute best, that gives a moderate boost to health. A pet cat will usually give a "massive" boost. Best if you can have both. He never grew infirm, incapable, feeble, or anything else. He was wide awake for all 95 years of his reign.

This inspired me to do my own challenge. I started as a single county vassal in India with the Rajasthani culture and Vaishnavite faith. I made a custom character with herculean, strong, and fecund, but to get down to 400 points, he started at 0 years old. Sanjay Pritampal lived to 120, had 30 children and outlived half of them, left behind 114 living house members, and finished 5 lifestyle trees. He spent his youth developing his economy, watched his liege's kingdom collapse around him, then began conquering and took his first kingdom at 83. He ended with 6 kingdoms and 81 counties to form a custom empire at the end of his life. Rajasthani has the mythical ancestors tradition, which gives renown from granting titles to house members, so I was able to find out that the graceful aging bonuses from the kin legacy don't apply retroactively. He died with a -26 prowess penalty. Had I known that, I would have gone for blood instead. The congenital traits wouldn't have mattered, but I could have gotten him 5 extra years.
