The really small detail that I liked was how the introduction of automation rose unemployment. This actually reflects on what Marx stated that as technology increases efficiency the average person will become liberated from needing to work to survive to working as a bonus. As such, not everyone will choose to and the game reflected that. A small detail but a cool one!

You know, when looking at how you did all that and what it all led to, I can't shake off the feeling that you've somehow ended up with a proto-United Earth from Star Trek, with everything pretty much set for the discovery of Warp tech and Vulcans to arrive.

With this metric, the US supports literally most of the world's countries on the planet, including 100% of the world's democracies. It's a junk statistic meant to provide a picture, and specifically omits the part I just mentioned.

I love how optimistic the playthrough ended up being. Even if it is a game that is devoid of revolution and struggle it's still nice to see a realization of something that resembles communism and people having their needs met. It's refreshing and it makes me hopeful for the future.
Tip: If you're going to fire multiple ministers, fire everyone you plan on before hiring any. That way, you lose less loyalty for the newer ministers.

The current American tax system is basically just tax evasion for the wealthy. The wealthy paying more than 0% in taxes would result in a lot of money going into the economy instead of being hoarded. Truly amazing the level of mental gymnastics there buddy

If it did you'd see that the rest of the world would start implementing similar policies. The US is the key. If the US defunds the military Russia, China, North Korea would follow suit. If the US increases taxes the rest of the world will follow. Currently countries don't implement socialist policies even if they would like to for fear of a US backlash in the form of a sponsored coup, economic isolation, invasion etc.

the US only 'has relatively low poverty' becuse we simply don't count half the poor as impoverished because they make above the poverty line(inaccurately low benchmark compared to developed nations) before taxes and necessities

I mean United States is the easiest one, since no one will invade you in this game, just defund that ridiculously high military budget, then you can do anything you want.
Yeah, it would have big ramifications globally, but would probably be great at the local level. Right now the US is one of the biggest forces defending trade lanes, and we kinda use that as a way to bully certain nations into doing what we want. US withdrawing from global waters may seriously impact maritime trade safety if done before other nations could build up an adequate navy.
I am a big proponent of lowering global presence however, it is completely unnecessary legacy of the cold war.
