Israel is one of the rarest formable nations in Crusader Kings 3 and in this video we will seek to form it as the Sephardim of medieval Spain. Join me in an adventure that chronicles the rise of our Rabbinic realm where we will end the exodus of our diaspora and recover the third temple - all while starting as a one province Sunni count in Almeria. Thrilled to see a new challenge video! The story was awesome, but jsyk most Hebrew words and names use hard "ch" sounds. Kind of like clearing your throat, to be honest.
Technically Sephardi would speak Ladino
Most modern Hebrew words*.
There is a huge difference between modern and old Hebrew. So you should clarify as it might cause confusion since both languages are still spoken.

Ladino and other Judeo-Spanish languages (but especially Ladino) are seeing a revival going on so it's no dead quite yet.

Sephardic Jews were actually very prosperous in early Muslim Iberia and many reached very prominent positions. They initially saw the Muslims as liberators, and the scholastic culture propagated in Muslim Iberia allowed for the continued development of Karaite Judaism which, from what I understand is passed down paternally and was critical of Rabbinic interpretations of Jewish holy texts, and preferred a much more literal view.
For some reason the game has Sephardi as an Israelite culture, but Iberian Sephardics actually spoke a Romance Mozarabic language similar to Castilian.

Oh man, that was awesome! My favorite part of the video was the period of turbulence following the inheritance of eight year old Chayim, added some exciting tension during what was otherwise an ongoing steamroll success. And I especially appreciate the founding of new Jewish noble houses from among the lowborn! Obviously it was driven by necessity in the circumstances, but it makes me happy for more sentimental reasons and I only wish I could see more of what those guys get up to down the line.

Just fyi, his father's lineage wouldn't be dubious.
Conversion into Judaism also functions as adoption into the tribe cause it's an ethnoreligion. So even if it was the mother who was Gerim, the child would still be automatically Jewish under all interpretations of Halakha as long as the conversion process was complete.

This language teaches entirely different usage or vowels and lacks the same pronounciations as literally any language in northern africa and spain. Dumbasses can ask whateer they want but nobody is owed anything and you should be glad he puts this kuch effort to do what he does
