It’s such a shame - I really wanted that aircraft to fly well when I bought it, and I even reinstalled it when I saw there was an update (I love the A340 in real life!). However, much like your experience, every flight that I’ve taken with it has had some really annoying bugs that made me end the flight early. I usually end up hopping back into the inibuilds A300/A320 or PMDG 738 instead. I think I’ll be giving it a break for a while 😂 Great video as always man, appreciate what you do!
I've always felt like Latin VFR's "quick release" in products just gives away that it will be basic and lacking in systems/quality. Especially after the A320/21 series using default systems, it's not worth the $30+ and you'll know what to expect; comparable to Captain Sim! I understand not everybody desires to have in-depth systems knowledge for the aircraft they're flying in the sim, but just take the time to work and perfect the product so those who would like to use it on Vatsim, for example, have that capability.
I bought it also, it has a lot of issues (clearly), but my experience was better than what he showed here, I guess they broke it more? I got it as something I will rarely use (I am not a fan of the A340 lol)

WOW!! Is it possible that the update is WORSE than the original airplane? I did not buy this airplane because the initial reviews were that it looked great but flew like crap. This video demonstrates two things: First, the quality of this plane is awful and based on what I see, they can’t make it better. Second, this is a brand killer. How can Latin VFR have any credibility if this is the kind of airplane they make? Thanks for making this video. Really. You have done a great service to the community, for demonstrating that this is an airplane we should not purchase.
Since I'm on Xbox, Captain Sim, until the introduction of WASM suppoty, was the only other option to fly something adequate other than default airliners. Since Xbox had the capability of handling high fidelity aircraft, there should be absolutely no reason why any aircraft with Navigraph integration should not have fully functional autopilot and avionics. Having 100% of the buttons being functional is one thing, but to not even have operational VNAV? Everyone who purchased this should get their money back.
Just sad tbh, I was so exited for an A340-300 with alot of anticipation to be added into a flight sim. And the fact that its unflyable just disappoints me :(
I think taxi issue is general FS issue... I have same problems with my 737-800 recently (since SU15). So, maybe at least this one, is not related to LVFR ;)
I've recently purchased some LVFR scenery and although is it not the game stuff like aircraft, their airports are right on the edge between good airport and really bad airport. They use mix of normal high and low level textures even if very visible places. Some airports have terrain glitches, some airport concourses connected to terminal are connected in a way that is is exactly in the middle of the window and lower texture like from 2000 games is used for the concourse outside. Honestly I dont have high opinion of their quality with scenery and when this developer attitude goes into the aircraft creation it is a recipe for a problem. If they cant do airport right and update it later down the road they simply cant produce good aircraft, especialyl not for 30 or 35 €. This aircraft should cost like 15-20€ max.
This is disappointing. I wanted this in MSFS and was optimistic it would at least be decent enough, but this is piss poor and seems very rushed. I hope they'll continue working on it to at least make it serviceable. I will say I didn't mind their A319 that much but haven't flown it or anything in MSFS a long while. In my opinion LFVR aren't close to being as bad as Mscenery, CaptainSim and Bredok3D but this 'aircraft' didn't help them, it hurt them badly.
This rubbish is "payware". I mean if it was freeware, I would still criticize it, cause obviously there is a lot of freeware with much higher quality, but at least I would keep the critics moderate. But they dare charging money for this....
This is horrendous. And I’m definitely a spoiled study level simmer so I try and give the entry level aircraft a lot of rope and wouldn’t expect too many features or that much by way of systems or avionics fidelity but this was ridiculous. Implemented VNAV? lol where, to the pavement? No managed climb, no selected climb, FD cue gives full nose down, no speed management, and no ALT* 🤦♂️
If you’re going to charge money for an Airbus aircraft, your benchmark is Fenix and your minimum viable is FBW. Nothing in this A340 is working; basic systems cannot be this broken. It doesn’t matter if you’re using the autopilot or hand flying, the FMS / flight director cannot be non-functional for any sense of realism. That you can’t even do a packs of TO is just silly. Hell, even iniBuilds buggy A320neoV2 is vastly superior to this paid A340. There’s no QA in the marketplace, IMHO.
I would say quit review with Latin VFR any aircraft except MD-11 since they have released early product but not having a roadmap update content what it would bring any bug fixes and implementation. While we're looking forward to IniBuilds and FBW like A350 and A380 upcoming content.
Hi Emanuel, we are sorry for your experience again with our A340. We identified the problem and its due to being a short flight and DES mode activating, its a default ASOBO A320neo bug that we still have on all our airbus and with the avionics update we are working this will be fixed. On longer flights what you experienced doesn't happen. It seems Descend mode activated even before you took off which is a horrible bug and this is the outcome. Our apologies for that.
Bought the aircraft and in less then 20 minutes i was saying inside my head; damn i have been scamed 😮 please make this aircraft work correctly, PLEASE !!!
I think you made a mistake installing the update…..there is no reason to get this angry………..😂 All jokes aside, I don’t know the price but at least the basics should work. The purchases I did on aircraft that did not do what they promised you can not count on four hands. I certainly do not purchase everything…..contrairy…but still there are developers that continue to disappoint and I wonder if they are not ashamed of themselves….delivering such a quality. I really like your honest opinions and your sarcastic remarks….although you could be a bit less emotional😂…but then again….it shows your passion for the topics and I really like that! Thanks and keep the good work up!😊

Well, arcade planes are what make the most money in our sim world. A large part of users are using them. They deserve to be reviewed. As I figured in my LVFR A330 review, these can actually be quite okay aircraft for their userbase. Just this one... is not. And that, too, deserves to be said.
@@A330Driver X plane is more suited for study level user types and MSFS is more suited for the general user population using mostly gamer based aircraft Both serve their user bases well Some people go crazy trying to make x plane look like MSFS but they miss the point that each sim serves a different purpose

Don't, it kind of works, but the flight model is really bad and it's not near study level if you're lookin for something realistic. I think taxi issue is general FS issue... I have same problems with my 737-800 recently (since SU15). So, maybe at least this one, is not related to LVFR ;)
Have you tried turning it off an on again 😂
Good one mate😂
I'm kind of fedup of this aircraft also
This is disappointing.
Needless to say this aircraft is insanely beautiful on the outside, but not so much in the cockpit😅
This rubbish is "payware". I mean if it was freeware, I would still criticize it, cause obviously there is a lot of freeware with much higher quality, but at least I would keep the critics moderate.
But they dare charging money for this....
Fly this one on a VATSIM FNO to test the controller’s patience 😅
The Anti Stall worked 😂👍
This is horrendous. And I’m definitely a spoiled study level simmer so I try and give the entry level aircraft a lot of rope and wouldn’t expect too many features or that much by way of systems or avionics fidelity but this was ridiculous.
Implemented VNAV? lol where, to the pavement?
No managed climb, no selected climb, FD cue gives full nose down, no speed management, and no ALT* 🤦♂️
Pretty amazing how they managed to be WORSE than CaptainSim 😅
MSFS2024 Released date 19th of November 🎉
It also does a hard right turn after every landing. Pretty random
When the marketplace allows the likes of mscenery and Captain Sim, they have to be consistent and also allow this, unfortunately...
Hi Emanuel, we are sorry for your experience again with our A340. We identified the problem and its due to being a short flight and DES mode activating, its a default ASOBO A320neo bug that we still have on all our airbus and with the avionics update we are working
this will be fixed. On longer flights what you experienced doesn't happen. It seems Descend mode activated even before you took off which is a horrible bug and this is the outcome. Our apologies for that.
horizon sim won't improve the a340?
Maybe it's time for your company to evolve to something more than default A320 behavior. Just a thought.
Bought the aircraft and in less then 20 minutes i was saying inside my head; damn i have been scamed 😮 please make this aircraft work correctly, PLEASE !!!
Inibuilds MSFS A320 now sets the baseline for simulations and it was a free component of SU15! Malfunctioning poorly programmed work won't work!
wont get any more LVFR products... I FEEL CHEATED
Do they actually charge for this plane?
They do 😭
Thats why they should let Headwind fix this because they cant clearly
I think you made a mistake installing the update…..there is no reason to get this angry………..😂
All jokes aside, I don’t know the price but at least the basics should work. Thanks and keep the good work up!😊
How could people expect a great aircraft from LatinVFR? They made the A320 family and it's better not to talk about them.
Their sceneries are good, though
Always i mention LVFR aircraft never deserve to be paid. Even the a330 is not good ..
Fenix
Inibuilds
Fbw
edelwiss :D Nice swiss pronunciation there
The LVFR aircrafts are such a joke. This is the best confirmation to that.
I don’t get mad. I just go to Xplane and fly the incredible FF 777-200 the best airliner in any sim.
Have you tried putting it in rice?
it's easier to say what works than what doesn't work because it's less...
'Once bittern twice shy'. LVFR have had my money for a shite product before, and NEVER AGAIN. They should be called out for this and other shocking products in their name.
If it had a horizon mod it would be fantastic
They were ok at making sceneries they should stick to that
updated? That means the previous version didn't have a cockpit?
IMO,
Latin VFR planes = waste of time. Latin VFR scenery = pretty good. Here's hoping that one day we'll get a decent A340 in MSFS20/24.
That tillerproblem is something more planes have. Perhaps a MSFS issue
Headwind simulations, can you improve this aircraft please lol
I have it...i like it 🤷🏼
Don’t waste your time on Latin VFR unless you just want to showcase arcade planes for Xbox users
Things must be pretty slow if Latin VFR is the only thing smoking
Well, arcade planes are what make the most money in our sim world. A large part of users are using them. They deserve to be reviewed. As I figured in my LVFR A330 review, these can actually be quite okay aircraft for their userbase. Just this one... is not. And that, too, deserves to be said.
@@A330Driver
X plane is more suited for study level user types and MSFS is more suited for the general user population using mostly gamer based aircraft
Both serve their user bases well
Some people go crazy trying to make x plane look like MSFS but they miss the point that each sim serves a different purpose
@@samuelsmith2112I disagree on your assessment. MSFS offers the best overall package. Flying is not just flight dynamics. It’s an entire system that comes together. For MSFS you have many many more accurate airports, you have weather, you have more aircraft types. It’s the overall package that matters. And MSFS definitely wins there.
Why doesn’t LVFR Use the A320neo V2 instruments?
I blame Swissport
Are there delays involved?
Is there any possibility that aerosoft develop a340?
Not likely, they can’t even get out their A330
Toliss for the win still
Funny you are saying the company name in Swiss German...
Make something with Knowledge. Apparently none of them seem to have understanding of the Airbus and its systems.
Does anything in this addon work as it should?? 😂
How about their A330? Are there any better? I plan to buy it😅
Don't, it kind of works, but the flight model is really bad and it's not near study level if you're lookin for something realistic.
There is a freeware A330 made by headwind which is more realistic, it's not perfect, but enough if you can wait for something better.
Save your money, I'm sure there is much better use for it.
@@AntoniosSpiliotopoulos thank you😍
