Thanks for documenting it all Gabe! I agree about Slave 1, not sure why Disney changed the name. Boba Fett is a villain and it fits that his ships name is also villainous!
Thanks! No, you kinda just have to know about studio scale models a bit to know they are exact replicas. However there is a sign next to the speeder bike saying that it’s 1 of 6 screen used ones!
Launch Bay use to be an awesome place!!! I remember being there a week after it opened, right when The Force Awakens hype was at all time high. Such a cool time period for Star Wars fans.. They had a whole extra room with stuff from the new movies which just added to the hype!! It’s sad seeing that it’s a shell of its former self
I wish you could have gone a few years ago. Within the snaking lines for the character meet and greets, they had a ton more prop replicas forming the “walls” like half walls between the lines in low rise cases. I remember a lot of rebels stuff. Sabine’s helmet, ahsoka’s sabers, Ezra’s saber, an inquisitor saber. It was so cool.
The model you see at 6:45 is Sideshow’s 1:6 speeder bike. I have it myself and it screams it is that model. The rod is the same as well. Thanks for showing us the neat display!
Great tour. If we're not mistaken, that Speeder Bike is actually an original from ROTJ. They had 2 on display many years ago, and they were repainted once or twice over the years, but that is likely one of the real speeder bikes from the movie.
I was there last June and I couldn't get enough of all the models! I also got to meet my favorite Star Wars character, the Dark lord of the Sith himself
Cool video. In the original Star Wars radio drama on NPR, they pronounced Princess Leia's ship as, "Tan-ti-vee 4". I know it looks like Tan-tive... but according to the only actual enunciation of the word, it's "Tan-ti-vee".
That’s so cool! Did you also work on the prop replicas that Prop Shop sold around the same time? I have the Prop Shop Kylo Ren lightsaber, that’s why I ask.
@@StarWarsReplicas No, I was on Rogue One and the other films when they started to do those. You were lucky with yours, I heard that a Kylo saber was shipped accidentally with blue lighting.
Well is really nice, but... On 2018, before the Galaxy Edge, the Star Wars Launch Bay was much more rich, much more models and art stuff to watch, I don't understand why they take all that wonderfull stuff away.
Thanks for documenting it all Gabe! I agree about Slave 1, not sure why Disney changed the name. Boba Fett is a villain and it fits that his ships name is also villainous!
Thank you! Yeah I was very surprised they still had it labeled that way!
I went to Disneyworld last year and I could not keep my eyes away from all the models! That Slave I really is beautiful in person.
It really is!
Thanks for sharing that Gabe! Great video! Question, were there any signs around the entrance that mentioned the accuracy of these displays?

Great tour! I haven't seen a prop tour like this since back in Disneyland (Around 2017)
Thanks! That’s exactly why I had to do it! Never realized how much I missed it until they closed the Disneyland one

I remember those line queues with the helmets and sabers!
OMG the Timeline mural is amazing! it should be in the stores as a giant poster
Agreed. I've buy that!!
As a metal poster! Like Displate are selling 😊
Thanks so much for the tour Gabe. Loved it. Can't wait to go see it myself.
It’s definitely a must if you go to that park!

Oh yeah maybe! Definitely similar size and scale!
i did NOT know this was in Hollywood studios. this gives me a reason to go back
Definitely a must! It’s hidden by the Disney Junior section
Thanks for the tour. It looks awesome!
Thanks for watching!

Thanks for that info!! That’s so cool!!
I love that place never gets old. Great walkthrough bro.
Thanks bro! The speeder bike is awesome! They didn’t have that in Disneyland
I was there last June and I couldn't get enough of all the models! I also got to meet my favorite Star Wars character, the Dark lord of the Sith himself
Same!
Love that they have Ralph McQuarrie art. I recently purchased his books of art. What a visionary.
Very cool video and I love it
Thank you!
Wow Gabe, been awhile since I've seen you. Great great video, really love your style
Thank you! Yeah I gotta get more consistent about posting long form videos here

Oh I didn’t know that! Thank you
Looked like an ST 149 Krennics transport
Yeah you’re right!
Lovely
It really is!
Ha, I worked on both the Rey speeders. All made at the now defunct Prop Shop at Pinewood Studios UK.
That’s so cool! Did you also work on the prop replicas that Prop Shop sold around the same time? I have the Prop Shop Kylo Ren lightsaber, that’s why I ask.

@@propmakesyeah that was mine! But I actually sent it back and got an exchange right before they started issuing refunds
@@StarWarsReplicas ha no way. That's want happens when you get juniors to do the work.
is models are sreen movie ? or replica?
Models are replicas but I just found out that the speeder bike is screen used!

Disney changed boba ship because the were afraid it was offensive
Florida is a based state
how many kids did you push out of the way to make this video.
😂 just my own
The art work 😍😍😍 specially the timeline!!
Right?! It’s a great piece of art!
