@michellekostowic5887 it’s part of the national park website reservation system. www.recreation.gov/ticket/10088721/ticket/10088722 this is the direct webpage. You can buy it when you get to Pearl Harbor at the ticket counter but online it shows number of reservations for your selected day, so they must sell out. So we would recommend getting them online in advance 🥰
If you’re only going to the Arizona Memorial I would estimate that it was around 1 hour. They only let you stay for around 30 minutes, then the boat ride there and back.
Side note: the tour on the USS Missouri is 30 minutes or so long. They walk you to the front of the ship and discuss the different artillery on board and other facts. They then walk you to the area where the Instrument of Surrender was signed to end the war with Japan. They discuss a few individuals who were in attendance and a little about their back story. Then, they walk you to where the kamikaze pilot hit the USS Missouri and explain what happened before, during, and after the crash. After that, you are free to explore the rest of the ship on your own. If you are not in a big hurry, I recommend the tour.
@rhysaminez572 we were there from 8am until 4:30pm that day. It’s really up to you as to how much time you want to spend. We didn’t read or study every single exhibit but we also didn’t rush through them and it took us all day. I really don’t think you’ll be able to see them all if you go less than a full day, you’ll have to prioritize what you want to see at that point.
One more side note: the jewelry stand with the pearls will first show you the $300 14K gold pendants for you to buy. I told the sales lady I prefer sterling silver. She then pulled out the sterling silver pendants which were $85-$95. The chains are sold separately. We decided to get our daughter and myself each a pearl, a pendant, and a chain. The sales lady gave us a sterling silver plumeria pendant free of charge since we bought the 2 other pendants. So, make sure to work a deal with them so you get a free pendant if you buy more than one. 😆
