@thefloridahomeownersguide oh fun! I think you’ll have fantastic weather in May! It was pricey for sure but we thought it was worth it, especially after we went to one on Maui last year, the price was double this one and we didn’t think the food was as good. I don’t remember it ‘being in the parking lot’. They had a stage area and a grassy arena area when we went, but maybe that’s changed? We were there in September and it was warm but not hot 😊

So seeing your kind words has really lifted my ‘TH-cam’ spirit! When reflecting on all the drives we took in Ireland, the one you are referring to was our favorite!! I suggest you Google “Ballaghasheen Pass”. That's the name of the route that we took. At the beginning of the route it was unassuming and made us question whether we were on the right track, but as we climbed in elevation it became clear that we were somewhere special! @vhannepomuceno6517 yeah the whole thing is confusing at first but makes sense when you’re there. Yes, the Arizona memorial is only $1. You can reserve your time before you go or ride standby and wait in a line. They only let you stay on the memorial for 30 minutes and make you get back on the boat. They will not let you stay for any longer. The bus for the USS Missouri is on the opposite side from the boat to the Arizona. There are signs that tell you where the pickup point is. The bus takes you across a bridge to the island where the Missouri is docked. You cannot drive yourself since the island is an active military base.

If you’re only going to the Arizona Memorial I would estimate that it was around 1 hour. They only let you stay for around 30 minutes, then the boat ride there and back.

Well this was a 9 day cruise and this happened to be our only rainy day which was unfortunate. As for the cold, it’s Alaska, it’s supposed to be cold 🤣

@michellekostowic5887 it’s part of the national park website reservation system. www.recreation.gov/ticket/10088721/ticket/10088722 this is the direct webpage. You can buy it when you get to Pearl Harbor at the ticket counter but online it shows number of reservations for your selected day, so they must sell out. So we would recommend getting them online in advance 🥰

@dropy555 right next to the boat terminal where all the bus parking is. They reserve a couple bus spots specifically for the overnight cruise and all of you just stack your cars in those spots. They send you instructions for that with the bus parking spot numbers to park in 😊

About an hour’s drive from the well known Bay of Islands & 2.5 hours from Auckland. If you haven’t been to this part of Aotearoa, there are beautiful Bays & Beaches here so please do come visit!

If you google ‘Ballinastoe Woods’ there’s a Ballinastoe Boardwalk Entry that shows up off of Wicklow Way. Then a short walk and you’re there! 😊

@corrinekeehan that is so sweet! Thank you! So we discussed your question and both of us think you all should do the Milford Lodge for 2 nights. Although the overnight cruise was amazing, you only get about an hour for kayaking. And there’s so much more to see around Milford Sound that you’d be able to see if you stayed in the area longer! A sunrise kayak tour sounds amazing! We’re so excited for you all! Whichever you choose, we think you’ll love it! ❤️
