I've never had the chance of know Bob Ross when he was alive. Actually, I'm not even american, english it's not my first language. But thanks to technology and his faithful fans, I've met a fantastic human being, with such an amazing charism and talent. Thanks for uploading this video.
There's a lot wrong with this world but there's also a lot of good in it and Bob Ross, his compassionate and loving self, and the reach he is able to achieve even today after his death is some of that good. That you are able to enjoy this and take so much from him is another!

Painted this today with my 10 year old. How is it that it takes us over 2 hours for us to make a , not as nice, painting? He was such an amazing artist. Love how easy it is to follow along. Another painting tomorrow!

I've completed 5 Bob Ross paintings and every time I crack up when I beat the devil out of my brush.....lol some people say his paintings had no life.....with..just proved him wrong , he put light in the windows , Peapod the squirrel was in the cabin...lol Love ya Bob...RIP .

Light background color in your sky , feather it out really good , use a little liquid white with Titanium white and load the brush up well , using #6 fan brush lightly use the edge and go in circles un-uniform , sparatic then blend lightly with 2 in. brush , fluff...waalaa . if only you knew how much I miss you Bob, your voice reminds me of my childhood ... my mother who was trying to paint your cold Alaskan scenery during the winter while I fell asleep lulled by your voice. I just hope that now both have found there the beautiful aurora and the breathtaking views that so much you wanted to represent

Vanessa W Jesus Christ, that's not ASMR. Bob Ross videos are very ASMR but your description is garbage. People have known certain sounds are relaxing for as long as time is old. ASMR attempts to describe actual neurological reactions that occur and it goes far beyond just a soothing voice or tone. It's About why some people get goosebumps and their blood pressure dives after hearing the sound of the fan brush... some people even get sexually aroused and cum their pants.

You know, Bob's little cabins and barns never fail to get a chuckle out of me. They're always, without fail, slightly lopsided or leaning in one direction and they NEVER fit into the scene very well. But he just seems so excited and happy to add them that I love them anyways.

Alex I agree on his skill with depth, when I first began, although it was pretty decent, depth was one of those things I just couldn't master completely at first. I mean, even today I'd still say my depth could use some work. He was a fantastic artist, all in all, honestly.

I mean it's harder than he makes it look, but with a little practice and determination you could achieve decent results. I dropped hundreds of dollars on painting equipment just because he made me feel like I was able to do it but I wasn't... at least not then. Maybe one day.
