    Another great video. Thanks very much. Cant wait to get mine in the air. Your vids have been a great help. Gave up trying to program my Futaba 14sg and am going to use my Xlite that works the paramotor perfectly

    A question on marking the brake line. You say that the mark should line up with the top of the riser's D Rings (at 9:17), but at about 9:47, you show the mark inning up with the top of the Brake line's D Ring.
    I'm confused. Not, by the way, an unusual occurrence. Thanks for a clarification.

    I have yet to fly mine, but from the vids I've seen on it's flight, I'm strongly considering adding a servo that will pull down on the "A's" slightly to act as a speedbar. I'd like to be able to speed it up a bit to fly in less than optimal conditions.

  • @robertb2744
    @robertb2744 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Just an FYI. The propeller has a front and back. It will work backwards but will only produce about 75% of the thrust. It should be strong enough to overturn itself on full power! If you can go full throttle without having to hold it down then it's probably backwards!

    This is such a dream to fly. If you can get it into the air that is. I was surprised how tricky it is to get the launch just right.

    • @MrLunithy

      Whats hard or tricky about it? I have one on the way.

    • @wormhole331
      @wormhole331 5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@MrLunithy just making sure the wing comes up straight and need to have the throttle right. Throttle up too much and it'll surge back and forth making it hard to control. I think my problem was not aborting if it the wing didn't come up right. Now I can tell if it's not coming up right and just abort the launch. I wouldn't say it's hard but one of things that takes a bit to get the hang of it. Second day I was launching just fine. Launch over grass while you get the hang of it. It's pretty tough. All I had to do was straighten those metal hoop holders after 5 failed launches.

      I got mine yesterday and tried to fly it in a little too much wind. Smashed it up pretty good and broke the front landing gear off completely. Was able to bend most of it out straight and actually got in a nice flight this morning. I am still doing a lot more crashing then flying.

    Nice video Lee. A couple of the guys down the club have paramotors and the one thing that they seem to play with a lot is adding/subtracting weight based on the wind conditions. To light and it just goes backwards, too heavy and it doesn't fly so well. Looking forward to your first flight :-) .

    Given that pilots used to flying fixed wing will instinctively pull back on the elevator stick to pitch up, has anyone considered putting throttle and 'rudder' on the one stick and the 'brake' lines on the other stick?

  • @Powershotknecht
    @Powershotknecht 5 ปีที่แล้ว

    hello, thanks for your video. Yes Hobby king leaves alone in the instructions for the length of the brake line. I think that's bad. I'm also finishing my paracopter. The marking with the pen make you at 649 cm or 25.5 inches and must tune with the middle ring over? I have seen videos where the brake line has been knotted with the ring. In those she is knotted only on the servo arms. That seems more logical to me. Have you already flown? Unfortunately, there is not too much wind here.

    I am confused by your brake attachment segment. Your 649mm brake marks you put at the D-ring when you set it up. In the HobbyKing setup video they put the 649mm mark at the servo arm hole. Which one is correct?
