Good flight, they are indeed a ton of fun, but also a pain in the bud if you don't know wat you are doing.
Ask me how I know 🤭😀

Hacker was way out of my budget, don't know about the Hobby King.
Going to have to go the 3D printed route. Thank you for the clear video review!
    Fly On!

@who8dapple I definitely understand what you mean... some of them get really expensive REALLY FAST!! Lol. 😯
      Thanks for your kind words.
I have seen some promising designs on some 3D forums but never tried one yet! I would be curious to hear your thoughts when you have a chance to try one! 👍🏼

I really enjoyed your video and I'll have to take a look at some of your other uploads!
I got to hang out with your good friend Tim at Flite Fest. He's got me pretty excited about night flying, paragliders, and Hot shot modded tiny trainers 😊 but most of all he's just a great guy to hang out with!

At Joe Nall HK had a prototype of one coming out. Hopefully it will much easier to launch and fly and more stable. I will also say that was the best ive seen anyone fly it. Great job

@DronemanJoeRc Hey thanks for the heads-up.. and your kind words! It's one if my Favs! 😃
And I believe they just released it a couple days ago?
I would be curious to know if that's the same one you saw at Nall? It seems that maybe some plans with one of the designers fell through since they couldn't strike a good deal and maybe H-King went back to the old cart design? 🤔

Obviously, I don't throw myself into the air on my trike but you're exactly right in the commit aspect on launch.
Put some lineholders on the cage and do some ground launches. I'd love to see one launch like the real deal! Just put something just above the centerline to hold the lines up and away you go.

    • @HappyRCFlyer

Hey, thanks for stopping by the channel! 😃
Hats off to guys who fly the real ones! 👏 I had started training and was about to place my order but felt from the Lord that I should delay just a bit... just two week later, I met my wife! 😍 Haha!
Life changed course a bit... Though she HAS since agreed to fly with me if I were to get a two-seater Trike! 😯 So you never know what the future holds! 😅
To answer your question, I have tried for ground take-offs but no success yet. 🥲 In the stock set-up the cart just tips over backwards and doesn't pick the chute up off the ground. I have some ideas to make it work but no success just yet... maybe a future video idea!💡
Definitely have more upcoming R/C Paramotor Content though! 😃👍🏼

@@HappyRCFlyer You have to hold the lines up above the prop centerline. I do so with plastic clips affixed to the cage. Otherwise, the wing acts like an anchor, as you noted.
2 person flight is only legal for training purposes with an exemption certificate, on a paramotor.
Powered parachutes can do it because they are able to get sport pilots license for those.

@ohmyqwad8705 Haha, Well practice makes perfect... and in that case I could use some more practice! 😄
This one definitely takes some extra patience and helps to have a friend or know someone to help get ya started! 👍🏼
My hope is that my videos will share enough information and pointers to help others and keep them from giving up on it!
It's a challenge aircraft for sure but we'll worth the investment of money and time to get it set up... still no substitute for lots of practice. 🙂

Hi thank you for the useful video! Can you please be so kind to tell me how much wind can this baby handle?

@armandopiscitelli9864 😃 Glad you enjoyed it and hope you'll consider Subscribing... (as I have have some more Paramotor videos coming soon!)👍🏼
Always glad to be of help to a fellow Hobbiest, that's what it's all about! Helping each other, is part of the fun of RC! 🙂
Well...🤔 I personally wouldn't recommend trying to attempt to fly this in more than 3-5mph if you're very experienced with this... but anything above 1mph starts to become challenging.
It really is one of those aircraft that really does need to be a flat calm.
Most of us Paramotor Guys, only ever plan to fly them just after Sunrise, just before Sunset, or at night.. being that's the best chance for calmness. 🙂
In much wind it would be easy to loose one with the wind. 😔 I have flown mine in winds enough to just stand still and wasn't able to progress forward in flight but could only elevate or decend with the headwind!
Remember these have no structure to the wing so get a cross-wing and the wing/chute will collapse.
Once I had mine to Free Fall when it was hit by an unexpected Crosswinds on a bit breezy day.. and I was low enough that it looked like a rock inside a grocery sack! Haha! I have to laugh now but it was sad to see and acquired some significant damages. 😔
Easy to say that as wind increases, the relaxation goes out the window, than not much margin for even keeping it in the air.
Let's just say... On a windy day the cart looks like a ping-pong ball in a blender! 🤣

@@HappyRCFlyer Thank you for your long answer! I'm glad to know such a nice person (I wander were do you live 😄). I'm an expert rc pilot, since many years and I'm deciding if buyng this para or not. I live in Naples, Italy and I'd like to use it during summer holidays in my place on the mountains; but, there, the wind at sunset is mostly around 3-5 Knts. Is 3-5 affordable for your experience? Can it be a funny toy for somebody who flies F5B planes and turbine jets?🙂 Thank you again so much😊

    • @HappyRCFlyer
      @HappyRCFlyer  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

@armandopiscitelli9864 Always happy to help! 🙂
Very cool, Sounds like a fun place to live and to fly Sail Planes! 😯 I live in the USA.
Well,🤔 I think it would be worth a try! It could turn out to be one of the most enjoyable aircrafts you own! (Like myself, its in a category of its own)
😀 Some highlights of a Paramotor,
1-The price for a very unique aircraft,
2-Portability, very compact for storage and transport,
3-Very slow and relaxing to fly, (especially in contrast to turbines and expensive models)
If you have the patience and skills for turbine... you will do just fine with this! 👍🏼
Also, if you are looking for a Paramotor that flies in higher wind speeds.. Consider looking into an Opale models which offer things like "Speed Bar" to allow for flying faster or adjusting to fly in higher headwinds. Options... Options... Options! 😁
