This was so good and well done! I knew all the stories from their biographies, but it was put together so well! I loved the animation and the raindrops on a window effect when someone is feeling sorry for themselves. 😂

This was a riot! I wish it was longer. I became a KISS fan at 6 years old in 1976. My first album was Love Gun. KISS was such a mystery to me and larger than life. Had to comment again. This is the 4th time ive watched this video. When things get rough I like to watch this vid. It takes me back to a simpler time in my life. Being a kid in the 70s was great. I was a little young for KISS at 6 years old. They were like super heroes to me. Super heroes that played great music. Thank you again for all that you do to create these videos.

I remember being Kiss in the school talent show in the second grade and forgetting to bring the Detroit Rock City record. We had to use Shake Your Body Down to the Ground by Michael Jackson. I knew it wasn't right and in my Paul Stanley makeup I slammed my guitar down on the stage and walked off. Cheers to a simpler time.

Hearing Beth on the radio in the morning before going off to school, the smell of the KISS trading cards when you opened them, seeing the KISS dolls on the shelf at the department store, buying every album, paperback and picture books and seeing them on HBO live in concert to seeing them live in 1978 at 8 years old with my uncle. Magical it was and still is with your videos. Thank you for keeping it magical. Your videos take me back to the 6,7,8 year old with a thirst for KISS info.

He made a display with the poster of KISS behind it and the island display was covered with Les Paul's and a couple Flying Vs that looked just like the guitars that Ace and Peter were playing. It was the closet thing to the band I could get at the time. My dad has a pic of me, 8 years old with a cherry burst Les Paul in my lap.
How cool. My mom took me to see KISS when i was 8 years old also. In late 77, I had seen LOVE GUN from a record store when my mom was shopping for an album. Never heard of them or seen them but I wanted that album. 2 days later, it was sitting on my bed and my life changed. I loved music but now I had MY band. My best friend became a huge KISS fan so we dawned on the make up and would hang out all day doing what kids do and didn't care what anyone thought. My mom actually took me and my friend to the concert. She loved it so she took us again when they came back 2 years later. How lucky was I? I've seen them 9 times since. You are right my friend. Simpler times but great, great, great times. I'm a drummer and my friend became a guitar player. Sorry so long but it seems we may have had just about the same life when it comes to KISS.✌️🤙🏻🤟🤟

Agreed great documentary , Peter & Ace were truly self destructive. Saw in 1977 and totally get why they didn't remain in band. Both severely needed Rehab. Love the sound effects, perfectly executed.

I had a guest pass for the Unmasked Tour date in Stafford, UK. There was a woman there who I thought I knew from somewhere, but when she said 'Hi !' I realised she was American and I didn't know any American women. Turns out it was Diana Ross. These vids are great. Thank you for all your work.
As I watch this it reminds me of Saturday Night Live with all the sound effects and the cartoonish visuals could you imagine if the Saturday Night Live cast did this in the early 90's cast.
Video’s hilarious! I’m a fan since Alive I, I saw them live for the first time during the Dynasty tour and that was a serious let down to say the least when you were expecting something like the Alive II show. Anyhows, even though it was a miracle these four dudes got along for as long as they did ahah! Ironically though, those four had the right chemistry as well and honestly they just never seemed the same with all the other dudes that came and went moving forward too. It’s a shame they didn’t stick together longer although they did reunite in 96’ but even that wasn’t the same as them in their youth in the 70’s.
Part of the all-around genius of this series is how they capture the essence of each member’s personalities and characters, good and bad; Gene- stoic, solid, arrogant, ignorant, Paul- insufferable, insecure, egotistical but solid and stable, Peter- unpredictable, fearful, down-to-Earth, wild, and Ace- ambiguous, sincere, honest, out-to-lunch….and later, Eric- humble, solid, heart-on-his-sleeve, wide-eyed-and-bushy-tailed, and Vinnie- talented but temperamental, naive, confusing….fm enjoying this series so much I can’t help but analyze it when I re-watch. The mix of historical accuracy, rare photos, comedic overtones done just right but not to the point of ridicule, hands-down the best Kiss doc that ever has been or will be made. Only one thing bothered me a bit at first, I thought it made Peter & Ace seem a bit too buffoonish, but then it hit me- they kind of were. Not all the time, but during that late-‘70s era? They all were. Who wouldn’t have gotten an exaggerated sense of themselves in that situation?

As un rock and roll as Paul and Gene actually are viewed now, particularly Paul, the fact is, they did all the heavy lifting. While they road the successes of the 70s up until the very end of the road tour, Paul's dedication to maintaining the Kiss machine and keeping it running, is truly one of the greatest achievements in the entire entertainment industry

I love this! Only distraction was the repetition of a couple of the background songs. One in particular (the blues one) is used as the longtime theme for Trogly's Guitar Show lol.
This was absolutely one of the best videos and or killer documentaries I've ever watched..I'm 38 and this video is badass...Rock and Roll on the finished product my friend..I love Gene, and honestly after this I love Ace more..He loved the life I would have and he was still so cool and talented..Kiss forever in my books...

The Elder is Very Underrated, I'm amazed with all the Lord of the Rings and Game of Thrones popularity I can't believe nobody has ever tried to make it into a mini series or movie.

I was a Kiss fan since Alive came out and I was about 8 years old, That early stuff is still some of the greatest balls out hard rock early heavy metal ever! Ace's solo LP is awesome the only one of the four worth a shit if you ask me, LOL! Kiss is legendary!

The Elder is Very Underrated, I'm amazed with all the Lord of the Rings and Game of Thrones popularity I can't believe nobody has ever tried to make it into a mini series or movie.
It's a Scooby Doo movie. It's like a combination of phantom of the park mixed with the elder.

Absolutely amazing job man.....Photos and stories I had NO idea about.....I DO believe the sexual tendencies of Ace in his many stupors,even the rumor(an alleged fact)of the Spaceman servicing a certain Catman in Peter`s hotel room under the sheets(it took months for me to recover from that one,believe me)documented in a book called"KISS and Tell"........Anyway,you`ve done the KISS Army well and congrats on this work of art..........I`ve just subscribed.....

I was a Kiss fan since Alive came out and I was about 8 years old, That early stuff is still some of the greatest balls out hard rock early heavy metal ever! Ace's solo LP is awesome the only one of the four worth a shit if you ask me, LOL! Kiss is legendary!
