Interesting they changed the inspire conditions for the far striders. Gone are the days of a surprise 'hidden paths' play to inspire when the opponent least suspects it. But probably an improvement 😀
Definitely an improvement, and farstriders get their own hidden paths anyway now too 😄

My question is; if you already own the original Farstriders and Sepulchral Guard, are these new incarnations good enough to justify buying this starter box, just for their new rivals decks?
The new decks are much better so very possibly! There’s board and tokens and all that good stuff too which is handy
do you think that the old cards for the 2 warbands, will be rotated out?

Come on Farstiders
i really like this game, but my biggest problem is that, sometimes i think they dont playtest the new warbands or cards. Some warbands are SO MUCH MORE POWERFUL than others, i cant believe that they playtested the two warbands in the gnarlwood box, for exemple. Sons of Velmorn are so underwhelming compared to the other one.
Wouldn’t be a GW game without some glaring power level mismatch/scope creep though 😄

they're the same ones as were released in shadespire 4 years ago, there's a lot of pictures online of farstriders and the sepulchral guard we didn't think it worth showing off images in the vid

I think the Sepulchral guard are fun and viable after this release. Fartriders, I doubt will light too many people's worlds.

Sorry, but most of new objectives and upgrades for Farstriders are like a huge pile of shit with a cherry pie of ploys on the top... Still better then it was before, but not worth taking. Dissapointed

Of the newer warbands, I like Hexbanes hunters. The new Headsmens curse are also a very solid place to start.
@@lilv3966 if you need a starter box I would suggest Wyrdhollow, both warbands are good, but they are not easy to play. If you didn't want to buy starter I can also suggest Grinkraks Looncourt. With hexbanes and headsmens there are 3 different playstyles.
