    What type of helmet are you wearing? I’m just getting into e scooters and trying to find the best for the job without going with a full motorcycle helmet.

    I saw you said about the turning signals aren’t there, mine is the same way 😮

  • @mythoti

    I'm leaning towards getting a Ausom Gallop, has a water resistance rating, maxes out at 41mph so it stays just under sketch territory while offering tons of stable torque, the suspension looks like riding on a cloud, plus working turn signals, well built, and nearly half the cost as this 🥹

  • @imperialsecuritybureau6037

    So with softer suspension (with better rebound control) like 1250-1500lb, this could be a pretty good scooter for lighter weight riders?

    I’ve seen people drop street tires on this and lighter springs and it just shreds

    I would love to see this scooter Re-reviewed with Street Tires.
    IMHO, any scooter that goes 30mph+ should have Street Tires anyways or as an Optional Choice when buying the scooter from the company.

    I have been looking at this scooter for months now and still not convinced to even buy it. Those tire are not the best choice in my opinion, street tires would be a plus but it's still a hard pass for me.......Will you be reviewing the Dualtron Thunder 3 anytime in the future? One of my friends will not shut up about it.😂😂😂

    • @GingerOnWheels

      I agree, they should've gone with street tires and lower compression on the suspension springs.
      I don't have plans to review the Thunder 3, but that is a much higher quality scooter than this one. It is also nearly double the price...

      Yeah, the water in the controller is a serious flaw for any place that gets regular Rain. Northwest, any place in Florida, etc.

    • @GingerOnWheels

      Same I think. I'd give up the extra power and battery for a name brand model that's been tested. But I do know a handful of people who don't care about anything but the speed/power : price ratio. I think this scooter is more geared towards them.

    • @brianmccann666

      I like climbing power. I love in a hilly area of Florida. Hills are a problem here.
      I want Range & climbing power.
      I don't care about speed at all. 15-25mph is more than enough IMHO.
      But the torque to climb is important.
      That and I'm a heavy Rider. 250+ lbs.

    • @GingerOnWheels

      Darn close. If it didn't have the LG M50LT cells and the separate controller box I would've skipped this brand. I feel like I did a pretty good job articulating the downfalls of this scooter, but unlike most Chinese brands, it's got a few redeeming qualities.

    Sine wave controller? Or the usual on/off switch that dualtron are known for.

    • @GingerOnWheels

      Not sure, I believe square wave, as I see nothing mentioned about sine wave on any of the websites. Given how big of a selling point that is, you'd think they would've mentioned it. . ultronscooter.com/products/ultron-electric-scooters-controller

    • @KevinRedmondWA

      Thanks! Yeah, not having a sine wave controller is a dealbreaker for me. Looks like I’ll be replacing my Dalton ultra 2 with an inmotion instead.

    • @GingerOnWheels

      @@KevinRedmondWA probably not a bad call. The RS is water resistant, too. I'd say it's worth the extra money just for that right there.

    That is an amazing price for that scooter with that size of a battery. and LG cells. amazing!
    Dear Ginger On Wheels, may you please make some videos about the rumble motors ebikes, and their 120amp faster charge graphene batteries! these batteries are my dream batteries, and i am planning to run graphene batteries from Rumble Motors in all of my electric scooters and ebikes! because the rumble motors graphene batteries can be charged at up to 120 amps from electric vehicle charging stations, they can custom make you a battery, just submit your measurement needs, voltage and bms needs, and they can send you a quote. please make videos about rumble motors and their graphene batteries!
    also, the charge/discharge cycle life is 20,000 to 30,000 charge cycles, exponentially greater than present best lithium batteries. my research and study (i spoke with a team of NASA engineers) indicate that graphene is low cost, abundant, and safe (no fire hazards)
    the missing ingredient is you making videos about rumble motors and their experience with graphene batteries 😊

    Hard pass. Recycled parts from older scooters just tells me long term problems with whatever else. It reminds me of when you don't have enough food in the fridge plus it's expiring fast and want to eat so you just throw something together and toss it in the microwave That's this scooter to me. For the price though? I guess you get what you pay for so if the controller breaks you toss the scooter out buy a new quality scooter.

    • @imperialsecuritybureau6037

      Are they recycled though or just… also used on other older scooters? This stuff is still being manufactured so it probably doesn’t need to be re-used old stuff. It’s old and cheap but it works… the controllers though yeah maybe if they were replaced with VESCs then you’d have a better scooter

    • @cocoabiscuits

      @@imperialsecuritybureau6037 I'd be impressed if someone made it out of their garage but as it's sold it lacks refinement. I see the nod to weped with the lights but with everything else on the market this looks like something directly from Alibaba.

    • @GingerOnWheels

      There's a factory somewhere in China. I'm sure they have containers full of these dime a dozen throttles, voltage readouts, eco turbo buttons, horn/blinker switches. You can walk into that factory with a custom battery, frame, and motors, and walk out with a fully functioning scooter for a couple hundred bucks more. Companies that have their own proprietary throttles, displays, fenders, ect; they are making serious long term investments in their brands and pushing the technology forward. That's the kind of stuff I like to see.
