Excellent! The Penske shock on my SV1000 is leaking and they want me to send it in for a rebuild.
Your video is perfect for what I need.
The remote reservoir on mine has a long enough hose that I was able to hide it in the tail under the seat.

Great video! The series on the SV has been awesome! Every single topic I can think of for the SV that I want to tackle at some point you've covered. What made you go with the Penske beyond budget purposes? I know there are a lot of options out there like Ktech, Nitron, HyperPro, Ohlins etc. I guess another topic that would be neat to cover is tires, like how most SV racers run 120/70 instead of the 60 - and what you think of slick tires etc.

Thanks for the feedback! The Penske was the first one to come available when I started looking and it was in pristine condition. I would have gladly purchased a shock from any of those brands for the same price ($550) and condition.

Regarding tires, I have been running the Q4 and Q5 Dunlops, but I am considering slicks for next season. Good idea for a future topic.
