Nostalgia! I remember playing this on ps1 and couldn't get past the 2nd stage. Back then I didn't know boss fight was a thing lol. If I remember correctly you can play 2players simultaneously right? And where do I find this game.

unpack the archive - open the folder with the game - run the file "FFORCE.REG" - and run the game through the file "FFORCE.EXE" or "FFORCE_NOVID.EXE"
