    It's sad, I honestly think Obi-Wan's story is a true tragedy. He lost pretty much everything he loved and held dear and sacrificed his entire life. He was a great character, and as well as it worked for the story the character deserved a better fate then the sadness that he endured.

      Maul's story is a tragedy as well. He was taken from birth to fight against an order he only hated because his master told him to hate them. After years of being alone and losing memories, he meets his brother. He's revitalized as a person, only to lose his brother to the man that ruined his life in the first place.
      And now, in this episode...I don't even wanna say anything. That ending scene just made me cry because of how Maul's dying wish is to be avenged.

      GenSphinx the story of Obi-wan is one of the best ever. This man who lost everything he held dear. A man who watched the boy he trained get burned alive. A man who sacrificed him self for the greater good. Obi-wan was indeed more powerful than Anakin, because even everything he went through he never turned to the dark side, he was a true Jedi Knight till the end

      I may have had a hard life, but as a ghost I am happy and at peace. Even if I suffered, I am glad to know I that I saved many other lives and guided Luke to free the entire galaxy. Helping others gave my life worth.

      yeah... i think Obi-Wan is the true spirit of the Jedi knight, the gardian of the peace, while i see more Yoda like the true wisdom of the Jedi.
      Obi-Wan had clearly a very harsh life... i think he's amound these star wars character who were fucked up all the way by the storie... like Maul, or all the clones...

    • @jessicarainesart
      @jessicarainesart 7 ปีที่แล้ว +180

      And yet....he tries not to kill Maul, or even fight him, up until the very moment Maul begins to dissect Obi-Wan's true purpose really. And when Obi-Wan does take the blow, it's quick. He doesn't gloat. And he doesn't let Maul, a creature who had taken so much from him, hit the ground. He holds him and forgives him. Obi-Wan is just incredible. After everything he's lost, I think he understood Maul even more now than ever before. And he pitied him. I'm so happy, this is another moment to add to my list of "why I adore Obi-Wan Kenobi"
