Half Desert Road in Dubai at exit 55

- Exit 55 Half Desert Road is located just outside Dubai. Its a network of desolate tar roads and traffic circles, perfect for flying your drone, or testing out your sports car. I had a fun time here learning some more drone and photography skills. I was so exited that I actually forgot to take the ND filter off my drone before sunset... Anyway lesson learned!!!

What if you are a tourist? Can u still register your drone?
Unfortunately for the last 2 years all recreational drone operations are banned in the UAE. Only commercial operations by licensed drone pilots are allowed. This includes citizens and residents. Tourists are not allowed to register, but as I understand it you can transit through Dubai with your drone, but no flying. Hope this helps
