Richard/Betsy: Crash and Burn

- Richard tries hard to figure out why Betsy suffers so much from the Bell witch. He reflects on when she was happy (in sepia tone), and vows to her that he will always be at her side when she needs him.
Important to know: the parts where Richard seems to be looking at something is meant to be him looking at Betsy. And at the end, after everything is blown over and Betsy recovers, she tells him that she knows how he feels about her. He's modest to admit it, but then he thinks about a certain memory with her, and tells her it's true. She then shyly admits she loves him as well.
Thank you! =D
I love Richard and Betsy too. =D Also, if you get the DVD, there's two or three alternate endings that focus on Richard and Betsy's married life together... if you haven't already seen them yet. Just thought you'd want to know. ;D
I wish there were more Betsy and Richard love story videos on youtube.... If I knew how to make them, I WOULD! :)
Far out, I had frickin nightmares after I saw this movie!
This girl is beautiful
*sniff* yep, they got married and grew old together. one of the sweetest things ever in my opinion. nice to know that that part was true. and your video was amazing, i love this song and havent heard it in years! awesome work!
Professor Powell is so handsome 😌
OHMIGOD! I love it! Really did! I'm about to make my own AAH mv, I only hope it could be as good as this. This is by far the best AAH mv i've seen, well and truely!
I haven't actually seen this movie yet, but I know a lot about the Bell Witch as well as these two people this was a really interesting video! I like the thought that Betsy got a happy ending
I really should buy the book. But I did love this video. It made me quite happy. ^_^
Oh, have you seen the deleted scenes?
"The Bell Witch: An American Haunting" by Brent Monahan
Thank you! :)
Thanks for making these available!
=DD I agree, it really is one of the sweetest things ever.
Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed the video and liked the song. =D
Sorry, I don't really remember that. Was it a deleted scene, or an alternate ending?
Do you mean after they're married?
Let me know; I'm sure I'll be able to explain it to you. :)
Thanks so much! I have been studying a lot about the Bell Witch too, because the movie really persuaded me... ;) But yeah, I wanted to give Betsy the happy ending in this vid because, well, when you see the movie you'll understand. =DD
-nod-
Can you tell me, what was that scene with Richard and Betsy? When he's frightened and she comes to him? I didn't quite understand that.
Aww, thank you so much! =DD I'm really glad you liked it!
I will be looking for that future video. ;) =D
Aww, thanks so much. My day was sort of gloomy, but now your comment brightened it up again! =DD There will be more where this came from. ;)
Oh, good. =D I got the book when the movie first came out... and read it more than once. =D I love how there's more on their relationship, like you said, and I agree, it is really interesting. :)
You definitely should. It's very good. :)
Thank you! :D I'm glad you liked the vid.
Yeah, I have seen them. :) I wish they didn't take them out of the movie in the first place. It would have made the film a lot more accurate.
Thank you so much! I'm glad you enjoyed it! =DD
thank you! :D I'm glad you liked it.
excellent video a bazillion stars!
thank you! =D I'm glad you enjoyed it.
The movie had great acting but its conclusion that Betsy was attacked by her own father is a stretch and there was never any evidence or even an accusation of such behavior. Betsy died of old age in 1888. She had always credited her father for saving her life from the Bell witch. As it turned its violent attacks from her to him and he died for it. Another movie, "The Bell Witch Haunting made in 2004 follows the real story much closer.
gosh, what a nice video, & rachel is so gorgeous!
It's my pleasure, honestly! I love the couple, so I couldn't resist making a mv of them. This won't be the only vid of them from me though, I assure you. =D
who sings this song? i'm gonna use this song for this couple on my new myspace i'm making
thanks! =D I'm glad you think so.
I agree. =DD
Really? is that a good or a bad thing?
thank you! your compliment means a lot to me. =D
Thank you!
-continued-
He thinks that the remembrance would traumatize her further, for Betsy possibly had forgotten over time what her father did to her.
I hope that helps. If you have any further questions, let me know. :)
Yes, they do.
Thank you! :D
Thank you! =D
I love them as a couple as well. :)
Oh, okay. :)
He fell asleep, and during that time the Bell Witch told him what happened to Betsy and everything. He must have been disturbed in his sleep, because Betsy comes to him and wakes him up, then asks if he's all right. Richard knows that it wasn't a dream, and that what John Bell did to Betsy was true, but he chooses to keep it to himself and not tell Betsy.
Yeah, she kinda does. I never realized that before, actually. xD
Thanks! =D
I think this should be the offical music video for the songg!! :D
xD Me too... It's just hard to resist. ;D
thank you! that was great
i loved this movie. it was so good. i dont know why it had such a low rating. you know what i noticed is that way back in the day age difference wasnt such a big deal. even when they were really young. it was normal. and nowaday people with just 5 years of age difference is looked down upon. unless they are over 21. i mean its like hayden and milo heck shes older than betsy is in this and hes younger than richard and yet they are looked down upon because of the age difference. its stupid
i love it, thanks!!!
Thank you! :D
You're welcome!
I think it's an alternate ending. It's after they are married. He has a mustache and such.
Savage Garden.
