    1.5 inch spaces are likely enough for the look you want.

    Measure the distance to the fenders in front as you turn the wheel to makesure you won't hit the fender with tire when turning. Truck looks way better with the black touches you've added. Love the smoked headlights, definitely smoke the fog lights.

    Love the build, I did 1 1/2 spacers and am happy the way it looks. Not fond of the wheel well trim, but love the truck! Thank you for the video!

    I did a 1.5 spacer on mine and it really gives it a nice aggressive stance… I love it, if you stick to 265/70/17 no trining needed, to go 285/70/17 it requires a tad bit of trining up front

      Thanks. I never got around to doing spacers. I drive the truck everyday and done nothing to it except keep it clean.

      I wish we could post pics on TH-cam I would really like to see how your spacers look.
      Is it causing a lot more rock chips?

  • @harrywatts1726
    @harrywatts1726 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    1 1/2” spacers are absolutely perfect… also, if you go thinner than 1 1/2” spacer, you will need to grind down 24 existing studs so they won’t hold the wheel out from bolting flat. I was nervous about going 1 1/2” out but when down, you will be very happy with it.

    • @LHTPerformance
      @LHTPerformance  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      That’s good to know. I’ve been driving it daily and haven’t done anything else to it. It’s a fantastic truck.

    I got same grill but like the chrome really sets off grill the body shop at my dealership trimmed off 3 inches off my air dam and curved up the ends were my front tires were looks great on my 2020 z71 4x4

  • @yangd0839
    @yangd0839 4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    Id space it out. With those wheels on my opinion would be lowering the back instead of raising the front. The spacing makes those meety tires look small. Still looks great.

    • @catric69
      @catric69 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      He doesn’t want to lower the rear because he tows a boat. Also, he doesn’t like the raked look. That’s why he wants the front leveled with the back.

    • @yangd0839
      @yangd0839 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Eric, you can still tow a boat with a lower rear. Only a lil over an inch it wouldn't of made a difference. Plus the vehicle would've been leveled (no rake) also with lowering the rear. Your comment is contradictory.

    • @AnissaEx
      @AnissaEx 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I agree, lower the rear to match the front and then add some helper bags in the back to level it when towing.

  • @AnissaEx

    I like where you’re going with this! For sure smoke the fog lights and go with 12.50” tires instead of spacers. It’ll look better. I come here for the S2000s, but it’s fun to watch you build your truck. I’ve had a couple Jeeps in the past that I built into off-road machines. It’s fun!

  • @bjornmuskus634
    @bjornmuskus634 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    Spacing will surely compliment the 'rugged' look you are striving for.
    Note: Increased spacing may cause front tire rubbing when turning.
