Good luck trying to get one. With the Chinese New year you won't be getting it till March, by which time something better will be out. Checks all the boxes though!
If you have an EU-LBT Taranis then you can still use the non-EU FrSky version of the Crazybee FC. You just need to install OpenTX on the Taranis with the "eu" checkbox unticked. The internal XJT module will still contain EU-LBT firmware but the non-EU version of OpenTX will enable/unlock D8 mode in the binding mode options on the Taranis. You then need to select "FRSKY_D" mode as the SPI Bus Receiver Provider in Betaflight Configurator and this will then allow you to bind in D8 mode. You lose telemetry in that mode but at least you can fly it with an EU-LBT transmitter. I've done exactly this for my non-EU FrSky UK65 and it works perfectly 🙂
Mine has been on backorder for 3 weeks now... I'm loving the Mobula7 though and I'm not very convinced the Trashcan will be an improvement because longer flight time is very important to me.
A question, Lee, if I may: I'm using a pagoda antenna on my goggles where some of my quads have linear antenna. Am I missing out? Will I get better reception using a linear antenna on my goggles? Thanks
Check out the video at 9:21. If you use a linear antenna as well as something like the Bandicoot linear patch from MenaceRC you will get a much better reception.
Painless360 I really would like to know how big the difference is. But I guess I’ll get on those linear patch antennas to try it myself. Thanks for replying, Lee.
I can’t get my spektrum version to work.. it is bound and all the levels show that they are responding properly on betaflight but it work arm.. any suggestions?
A few people have lost the usb. I discovered that the USB is close to the frame and the battery sits against it. When I was conformal coating I noticed that the FC was not on the ridges of the grommets. Since I mounted it properly the USB doesn't touch. Hopefully this will help the USB not get knocked off.
Dear sir, I watched your videos since 3 years a go a learn a lot, thanks a lot, as I can see you are getting into tiny woops too, this one was your first and you got few more after this one, I wonder if its about the time to do a video on best 2S batteries for these little drones ? my trashcan is on the way and i'm thinking of what batteries should I get for it ? it suppose to come with HV lipo , but I don't know to get HV or Normal 2S lipo with xt30 connection for it ?! also not sure to go for 300 mah or maybe 450 mah ? I would appreciate all your help info or advise ,
The only concern I have with this model is that the motor wires are not supported with the arms, After many years flying sub 3'' machines i find the motor wires will break, just before they exit the motor, which is very difficult to repair. Good review though. I also think these things should be tested indoors or confined areas, where they are more suited .
Lee I really want one of these but don't want to buy another TX as I fly all my planes with Spektrum. Is there any difference when binding to a Spektrum Tx, or has anyone seen a review of the DSMX/DSM2 version?
great video as always, I have a strange issue with my new trashcan, first of all Not all the motors start spinning when I arm it !! then I push the throttle up and not all the motors at the same level in betaflight !! and last but not least, the motors gain speed as I go up with throttle , BUT they stuck at high speed and wont loose speed as I bring down the throttle !! would you help me please
So I have been out of the hobby for 5 years and looking to get back in with 1 of these. I have DJT 2.4Ghz Telemetry Module in my turnigy 9xr Would this work with the non EU frsky trashcan ? Does any1 know ? Thanks spec below DJT 2.4Ghz Telemetry Module: Operating voltage: 6.0V-13.0V (can handle 3S!) Power consumption: 50mA Output Power:: 60mW Resolution: 3072 (11bit) Dimensions: 63.9x48.5x36.5mm Usage:compaitble with all V8 NON-telemetry Recievers
am I the only eu person that is a bit naughty and is using what I call 'legacy' firmware ... on my taranis.. it is a new one but flashed it fcc and that works pretty ok with those built in receivers.
Got mine this week and i love it 1s angle mode indoors is easy to fly, step over to 2s and it is a beast
Ashle Hackett when did you order, and what version? I’ve ordered late December and still not even send yet, I’ve ordered the no-rx version
@@HappyFPV i ordered mine at the start of December the FrSky version

Thanks for sharing, ordered long ago, end of December but no luck.
Pretty amazing little model, Lee! Great flying! 😃
+1👍 thanks painless, always good to see differing perspectives
Looks like a lot of fun

Would also like to know this as I have similar setup
Good question, dude!

Can you please review the Eachine UK65 and compare with the trashcan

I thought Trashcan was just a nickname, but turns out Eachine named it so
It certainly is an unusual name for a new product! Happy flying!
I ordered the Mobula7 upgrade combo with the F4 Pro FC and 803 motors. It's a DIY kit so would soldering everything be similar to the trashcan?
I would imagine so but I've not reviewed that particular model myself. Best of luck with your build.
Hi! What do you think, will Trashcan manage to carry 650mah batteries in either 1S and 2S connections?
And how it seems vs Eachine Novice 1?..
Not sure, I only used the batteries I mentioned in my video. Happy flying!
👍

Not sure about why they are not starting all together. As for the other thing - th-cam.com/video/DDnaAQLjcQQ/w-d-xo.html ?

What work bench monitor are you using?
It’s the screen from my Fatshark Transformers..
Is there a US based seller with these in stock?
Saw at least one on ebay if you want to go that route... but whoever was selling it was already bid up 50%.
what monitor you have?
At which point in the video?
Will this work with my fly sky I 6S
First! :-)
