I see a lot of reviews for this one, but I wasn't convinced I needed a quad called a "trashcan" .. ha ha. I do have an Eachine E010S (brushed) which I can fly indoors (1S), and a LDARC ET115 brushless whoop style ... which is flyable indoors if you fly it on 2S, but its really made for 3S, and with that power .. no way to fly it inside my little house. I'd be afraid to leave my door open to fly in/out ... with my luck a swarm of yellow jackets would come flying in. Its 48 deg. F here now, cloudy and rainy (April showers bring May flowers .. and will help my new front lawn which was put in this week). Thanks for the update! EDIT: While I was listening to your narration, you mentioned you thought you heard/saw a Cardinal (bird). I knew that cardinals were not native to Hawaii, so I had to look it up. This is what I found online: Cardinals are not native to Hawaii, but have established a strong presence here after being introduced in 1929. Many species of birds have been introduced to the islands for pest control and beauty. Cardinals are generally seen alone or in pairs around shrubs or trees.

I have DSMX version also and bought flashed Devo 10 with multiprotocol but I'm new to racing drones, can I bind it straight away or do I have to do it throught beta flight on my computer?
@@bodeksrc8007 I bound mine w/ BF, however there is a bind button at the bottom of your FC board you can use. The location and instructions are on the little sheet that came with your Trashcan. Good luck.
I've been getting that distance in D16 mode using my novice 1 & now I have a trashcan. I have a jumper T16 & cheap tobyrich goggles with a foxeer patch & a true RC linear. I sit in my house like you do also 👌, I wonder if I can get further in D8🤔🤔

Right on, mine should be here in the next day or two along with the GnarkyFPV Primo frame coversion kit. Really thinking about buying the Eachine 200d goggles, have you used them enough to recommend them? I've been using the VRD2s which are fine for now but moving into bigger stuff finally and thinking goggles is my next big item to invest in, can sell the VRD2s quick too :)
They do good with reception because of all the antennas and diversity. My only 2 gripes... 1. That white line on right of all recordings 2. For some reason I have to convert the .Avi DVR file to .Mp4 only with these goggles or it glitches in my editing program 👍
@@DustinDunnill so I just got mine, couldn't see modes so reflashed the board w 4.0, now have the issue where it just does this full throttle flyaway thing. Did the change to filters Bardwell suggested, still freaking out...taking a break and hoping the betaflight folks figure it out soon. ☮️
@@DustinDunnill second in betaflight. Got it all setup on the jumper and bound. Got into betaflight 4.0 and didn't see modes so flashed firmware and got modes set up to switches all working but I guess 4.0 has this flyaway issue with some and it's doing that where it's just arming and then going full throttle crazy. Watched and read a ton of stuff, just waiting now to see if betaflight updates or I learn a way to get rid of that issue. Got the setup down now though so grateful for that ..lol
Hey Donald. The trashcan comes with a jumper plug so you plug that into one of the 2 stock battery plugs then plug in jst from battery into the other (if you push it in tight there are no issues). just check to make sure polarity is correct since it will fit both ways 👍
Hello, I'm new to this and trying to order the trashcan from your link. It defaults to the "without receiver" option on banggood? What receiver option should I pick when using the taranis Q X7 controller? and thanks for the review update.
It's really fun once U get the hang of flying! I highly recommend Fpv 👌. The quality is bad cause it's a CMOS camera, like the security cameras. It doesn't look so bad on the goggles cause they have a tiny screens though. Also you can buy more expensive drone with better cameras etc of course 👍
great video as always, I have a strange issue with my new trashcan, first of all Not all the motors start spinning when I arm it !! then I push the throttle up and not all the motors at the same level in betaflight !! and last but not least, the motors gain speed as I go up with throttle , BUT they stuck at high speed and wont loose speed as I bring down the throttle !! would you help me please
I'd just try to fly it. Behavior will be different in the Air when it can fly on it's own 👍. If that doesn't work then 1. Try to calibrate level 2. Reflash 3. Maybe it's defective?
Likely destroyed those batteries if the reading was correct on screen.. for the sake of review I guess. I sometimes get distracted flying & talking at the same time... Especially in air mode 😂
I just bought a trashcan and it flys exactly how it looks.... trash.. iv got some gemfan props coming in hope of smoothing it out but it needs something done in betaflight. I can change all the rates and pids but still flys all wonky and shaky like yours does in this vid.. i mean you cant say that that flight was a smooth flight.

No but if you are, I'd check for wires rubbing on motors or something similar.

Is this your first bind & fly drone? You'll need to bind, then setup the craft on your TX and in beta flight.
