A good character to bring would be itto since they had the same kind of burst so like that … so let’s go with transforming bursts : example of transforming bursts , itto , xiao, cyno , razor , stuff like that

I personally wanted to see a physical razor build, partly because i am a die hard razor main, and partly because i wanted to see how physical damage was holding up under the deluge of elemental characters
As a physical zhongli user (Yes we exist and i will force my agenda /j) physical is still holding up very well. I mean atleast with zhongli (being statistically the 2nd best physical character in genshin)i 36* this abyss like it was nothing with him btw

@@braaandt That's why there is "damage potential" percentage for every character, and this damage potential is based on what a regular player can have by hyper investing in that character. So it basically gives you a comparison between all these character, on what you can achieve if you decide to hyper invest in them, at C0 So no, it doesn't not "mean nothing"
@@braaandt He gives the disclaimer at the beginning of every showdown that this is not a 100% accurate way to test this stuff and that he is using the method that he finds to be the closest to accurate as possible by mathing out the damage percentage of each character. Now obviously its not like he can disable constellations or remove talent levels, and the RNG nature of artifacts means he cannot guarantee exactly equivalent artifacts for each character. These showdowns are to kind of give a rough idea of a characters potential. Not to define any meta or who you can play. Also what defines the meta is teams, not individual characters. Just treat it as entertainment because that is what it is.
The fact that the Keqing team didn't even use Kazuha instead of Zhongli and still go 2nd place is such a good look for her. Why Keqing looks to be better than Cyno is not because of her personal damage, but because of her quick swap ability that can allow the team to use Kazuha or C6 Sucrose, maintain the VV shred and dmg bonus (and/or EM share) 100% of the time and proc more of Fischl's A4 passive. This Keqing team can go without a healer because of the quickswap and s. I'm just really happy how Dendro turned out for Keqing. I C6-ed my Bennett months ago with hope that Dendro will save Keqing. And it did. And it saved Razor too. When C6 Bennett screwed Razor's phys damage, it gave him the Thundering Furry build so I ended up getting the best from C6 Bennett.
Yeah, put on some cryo support, if u have c6 Diona user her and dendro traveler. Diona will give him superconduct and 200 EM which will buff all of his DMG on his burst. While Zhongli is good for Razor, he doesn't need it and Diona could have helped way more since he can to physical and aggravate at the same time while shielding him too (which Razor doesn't even need that much because of his super armor is better than Cyno) Swap Fischl out since Razor doesn't need a battery at all
@@hey7492 yup, add in a hydro then you have electro-charge, superconduct, bloom, hyperbloom, aggravate, freeze, and shatter, all of which are reaping the rewards of EM.
Yeah I wondered too if IWtL is purposely making Razor lok bad with suboptimal team and weird attack pattern. I guess it was about electro quicken/aggrevate match but then why the hell is Xiao taking part? Also weird part is measuring TIME while having C6 Xiao and C6 Kequing and pretending they're "C0". If he wants to accurate then damage per second should be measured and recalculated for C0.
@@revelerarte Xiao is taking part just to make sure he is still the Genshin God Mask user.. plus ye he used Razor in a bad team. His Cyno is also C6 so nothing to point there xD.. Xiao C6 was not used there, only C3 and C5 and all of them used those constelations there!
i do think that keqing could have performed better if you had capitalized on the key difference between cyno and keqing, being the fact that keqing is not selfish like cyno. You are fully able to leave her stilleto on the group and just swap out and swap back in for the infusion. Traveler could've run sapwood blade and due to the quickswap-y nature of keqing's playstyle, you swap in and out of your different characters.. just a thought. would've been cool if the overworld tests also included this.
True. Also, Traveler should have used Instuctor's set instead of Noblesse. And I think Keqing does better with attack sands and EM substats, plus external EM (like Sapwood and Instructor).
Main thing too is Keqing is much better at running without healer/shielder due to quickswap nature, and actually can utilize VV fully, so bringing anemo units like Kazuha can dramatically improve her damage output
You guys don’t get that he’s trying to make the test as controlled as possible by keeping everyone on similar grounds? Otherwise what’s the point? You could always say, oh just use so and so with X character and he will do better. Maybe just use raiden to alleviate all of their energy problems then? But that wouldn’t showcase the character he’s trying to showcase
I appreciate this round feeling more down to Earth and feels like we get an idea of each characters strengths and weaknesses. I think its a little unfortunate Cyno has some issues but Im glad hes still in line as a fun character.
I agree :) Cyno is not op or anything but that's OK, most people by now can easily 36* star Abyss anyways. It's a shame that his field time is so long though-- even Keqing has an advantage over him because she can be swaped out quickly to maintain buffs and run an offensive support 😅
Whereas i would say you pretty much need Zhongli with Xiao and Cyno because of their long burst durations and knockback you can comfortably swap in either Sucrose or Kazuha with VV onto Keqing's team which makes her the best out of these 4 in my opinion.
This exactly. Throw in a Kazuha or Sucrose and Keqing’s low field time massively shoots her ahead of Cyno’s team output since anemo buffs will run out on him. Not to mention Cyno without ZL is mechanically harder to play too.
Yeah imagine if keqing aggravte team replaced zhongli with either Kazuha and sucrose which provides shred, damage boost and CC it would improve her clear time in abyss

tbh unlike Cyno I feel like Keqing can bring kazuha instead of Zhongli, or prototype sucrose(or nahida when she comes out), since she has a low cd for her 40 energy burst, and she can be switched off the field more often, she can have more i-frames to dodge attacks

Cyno needs a Long-lasting Buff, so his burst gives its full potential just like Xiao unlike other main DPS who easily quick swap to re-apply the support buff they will be op when Mihoyo start making a character with a real off-field Dps/support like in Honkai (example is Haxxor Bunny and SA)
I think hyperbloom on gilded might be the better team for Cyno. From my experience if you run Xingqiu and Beidou with him you almost completely resolve his survivability while doing much more damage through Xingqiu and Beidou. Pair that with the fact that there is no icd on the cores and you'll have (in my personal testing) a team that does more damage than aggravate, and is also more comfortable to play.
100% my hyperbloom cyno team cleared these floors way faster than even xiao I think people are being a little dramatic with his knowback and you don’t need to play him for his entire burst imo.
True. I use Kuki with Instructors and Sapwood Blade, and Cyno on Missive Windspear, >800 EM when he's in his burst and the hyperblooms do mad damage. I find it more enjoyable when I'm doing different elemental damage in my teams 😆
@@amirul3233 It's Cyno/Yelan/DMC/Kuki, Kuki has 100 EM, 22k HP, and healing bonus, nothing special. Cyno triggers >90% of the hyperblooms so my kuki isn't EM focused. I feel like Yelan applies less hydro so I aggravate more than I would with Xingqui (plus her damage boost is nice, but I lowkey miss Xingqui's damage resistance).
@@stagnantwaterfall ah I see. I'm currently using him with Zhongli, DMC, and Xingqiu. Zhongli definitely helps with the survivability and interruption resistance while Xingqiu like you said, applied hydro better and provide little healing. I'm not sure if I should replace Zhongli with Kuki for battery and more healing, since my Cyno already has 150% er and fav weapons on Zhongli and DMC. Your team is definitely more on the offensive side while mine is comfortably on the defensive side 😂
i gotta say... probably the best comparison video you've done. the abyss 12 showcase was significantly better than previous videos where it would be all over the place with unrealistic teams, or characters simply not used (diluc), and keeping each other near damage potentials and letting each character shine in what they're good at really diversifies the comparison
What are you talking about? This comparison video was completly trash. Keqing should run kazuha instead of zhongli (if he has c6 kazuha then at least put sucrose) and cyno should be paired with beidou. His first solo dps comparison is just stupid to say the least, it's obvious that em builds won't do much so what's the point. And he should test them in the other half of abyss as well as it focus more on single target dmg so it would be a better sample instead of 3 chambers of aoe scenarios which obviously favors xiao team. In truth keqing's best team would outperform xiao's best team in single target dmg and it would be close if not better in aoe. What's the point of showing non optimal teams against the best xiao team in environment that is made for xiao.

@@asoko1157 ok so a few things. yes, keqing and cyno CAN run different teams, this is true. you will absolutely get a higher raw damage output using kazuha with freedom+C2, and beidou for zhongli's spot, HOWEVER and this is the most important part... most people don't care for perfect optimization, and will simply run zhongli for ease and comfort because that level of raw output isn't necessary. it's why i gave up dragonstriking teams... it's just a lot of consistent effort for no real gain because you're still clearing in 30 seconds. this comparison video isn't about what's the theoretical highest team comp damage that these characters can run, or C6 showcases... it's just the average person who saves for the character to see the relative performance using basic investment, maybe they got 1 or 2 BP, and that's really it. 99% of the community can't even perform dragonstrike and i was guilty of always including those results in damage tests such as noelle vs itto, or melt/vape diluc. you can see this when looking at usage rate cases... theorycrafters mald TF out at people using zhongli in non-optimal ways because the average player doesn't give a fuck if they can clear 3 seconds faster as the difficulty for 36 stars has been a joke for well over a year.

Last time he tried making optimal teams for every character, everyone complained about Yelan taking Diluc's spotlight. The goal was not to optimize every single character. It was to find a standard that has the smallest amount of variables along with the smallest difference in effectiveness between levels of support. If you want a more optimized-for-dps comparison, feel free to make your own comparison, but don't pretend this was some secret plot to hype Xiao up. He's been one of the worst preforming characters in these videos for a long time. I'm pretty sure this is literally the first time he's done well on this channel for showdowns, and IWTL was constantly pointing out how many different ways this could be done throughout the video.
I’m just surprised by how viable an aggravate Razor is compared to Cyno who is supposed to be built specifically for aggravate while Razor is a physical dps. I would love to see how physical Razor stack up to this and if a C6 Cyno even compares to C6 Xiao apparently but overall I very much enjoyed this video even if the format was busier than normal.
I wouldn't say Cyno is built specifically for aggravate since when he's in his burst form, he is immune to electro-charged. And I must say, I find his electro-charged team more viable than his aggravate team.

Top notch content as always. I think it’s really important to acknowledge that the top half of current abyss 12 definitely favours Xiao’s AoE damage, and Xiao might not perform as well comparatively on the bottom half. Really appreciate the effort that went into this!
I really like that four screens abyss showdown. Yes, it's a bit crowded, but you can pick one or two to look at and at the same time you get the general idea of who finishes first. And also I'm very glad to see affordable teams with focus on the showcased characters. Very cool!

So happy to see Keqing shine. Playing her w 4TF Aggravate comp feels very satisfying, and pushes an insane amount of DMG in a short span of time, (E cast > Q > E slash > 1CA > E cast > slash is the rotation that works for me when aggravate works.) It helps that I slapped Mistsplitter on my C3 keqing haha
My love of meta will never exceed my love of xiao, but still proud of my boi for doing so well here . ~ a f2p currently saving to c6 xiao, however long it takes
i hope you're aware that xiao's C6 playstyle actually loses out to normal plunge attacks when there are 4 or more enemies on field... and it doesn't work with only 1 so it's genuinely only useful with specifically 2 or 3 enemies. I really wish they let us use it on single enemies
I just want to point out that I keep seeing people use Fischl with Cyno in multi target scenarios and that’s the main reason why she is not a the BIS electro support for him. It’s actually Beidou. She takes care of any AOE dmg Cyno misses. Cyno is literally Beidou’s best driver undoubtedly because they generate energy and drive each other quite smoothly. think to use Fischl who provides nothing to Cyno but single target aggravates is not optimal. She’s better off with Keqing. I think the idea that Fischl is his best meta electro support at the moment needs to be challenged because Beidou exist and is getting slept on. I also had a dream ;) that Nahida marks enemies in a big AOE, so her and Beidou doing dmg to multiple targets bouncing off each other seems to me like a pretty broken combo.
I think that cyno's performance Also got effected because they weren't fighting the bosses from 2nd half in spyral abyss, so getting rid of many mobs without AoE is a huge mess already.
Pretty sure Beidou+Cyno does not generate enough energy for each other, without starting to compromise on DPS stats. And Keqing could've also used Beidou instead, which would mean a Keqing team still has better AoE.
Really goes to show how Keqing, despite having lower raw damage, benefits a lot from having more flexible team compositions (you can even swap out Zhongli for Kazuha for her team without worrying as much about being interrupted) and rotations (Fischl has no down time, and anemo supports would have no down time if they were used)
@@millicentwood549 right now i probably wouldn’t bother with him. his best support is beidou though and once nahida comes out he’ll be a lot better, so you kinda just have to wait for her in order to use cyno.

Nahida gives him a lot of dmg comparing to other dps electro characters like razor or keqing, so if you are goin: Cyno, Nahida, Beidou, Kuki it will be super fun and easy to complete abyss. (If you want you can exchange beidou for xinqiu or yelan but I dont prefer it cuz you are stealing reactions from cyno)
Pretty fun video. Didnt roll for Cyno, although the character looks cool af. Dont have Xiao either, despite thinking his storyline is awesome. But dont like his playstyle very much. Of course i have Keqing C0 and C4 Razor. And i barely touch them. Maybe give Keqing a shot, since i have R2 or R3 Lion's Roar, but its probably way after Dendro Archon is released. Saving up mats and gold for 3.2 for now. But it was a interesting showcase. keep up the great work.

He do be good, but this video is a poor representation of the potential of the characters showcased. Keqing's and Razor build was scuffed and not even in theor best teams, and Cyno's I think its better to have more elemental mastery.
It is also worth noting that Keqing (yes I'm biased) can be put in a quick swap team with Sucrose rather than Zhongli. With lots of available s, that team can utilize Sucrose's em sharing, elemental dmg bonus, and vv shred easily. That can yield higher dmg than Zhongli at the expense of safety. I've personally tried it (ran Sucrose with Prototyoe Amber just in case) and the result was satisfying!
I would like to see you try Razor's Abyss 12 run with Fischl replaced with a cryo character so Razor can proc superconducts. That might be more valuable for him than an electro battery.
In my opinion cyno strongest team is not aggravate. He is the best in exploding the dendro cores with electro because of his elemental mastery He would be doing electro charged, aggravate and hyperbloom at the same time
I can imagine his use being on hyperbloom and taser with beidou. Though if that’s the case then maybe dragon’s bane or fav lance would be better to battery the team?
That's exactly what I think. It's clear to see how Cyno has been misunderstood, and it's so obvious he's meant to be played this way by just looking at the blessing they are giving in the Spiral Abyss: it's all focused on Bloom, Hyperbloom...but there is no buff for aggravate, and we all know they always give buffs to benefit new characters when they are released, so they are clearly pushing us to use him this way instead. My thoughts on Cyno completely changed after I realized this, and stopped focusing on pure aggravate teams and got a hydro unit in there: he's so much stronger than this showcase suggests. Hope y'all don't realize it too late if this is preventing you from pulling him. ;)
I was waiting for this! Cyno's main drawback right now (imo) is that he outlasts most supports, so rotations can get a bit messy. I hope you'll come back to this in 6 months/a year to compare them again (in particular Cyno vs Xiao). Are you going to do a C6 comparison too? I'd love to see it since I am planning to C6 both Xiao and Cyno eventually. Great video as always :)

Great video as always. The one thing I'd say is that cyno is more geared for bossing, so the second half of the the spiral abyss might have been more indicative of his potential.
Your DPS Showndowns are awsome! For me, your videos are one of the best way of deciding rather to pull or not for a weapon or chacacter! And I really liked this new format of 4 DPS Showndowns!
seems like the keqing vs cyno mindset is the same as the ayato vs childe. while cyno does more personal damage, he is quite selfish and doesnt do much to enable his teamates compared to keqing's smoother rotations allowing her to enable fischl really well. in the same vein, ayato usually does more personal damage than childe but childe's kit is better suited to enable xiangling vapes
The only thing kequing has an edge to cyno is personal damage. But either way, their team damage is close to equal. Overall, in the eyes of meta. Personal damage is useless if the team damage is garbage. Unlike childe and ayato, ayato has noticeabley less hydro application

Just put his burst and you got a nice source of hydro application, plus his 6 seconds dps window allows for teams that can use quick swap as a main source of gameplay. If you play dps childe, you will need to play efficiently, and most ppl (like me) just like to chill and press some buttons and fight without that cooldown or rotation nonsense
What a huge amount of copuim , ayato not in anyway does more damage than tartagila , ayato just easy to use , in fact in AoE where 3+ enimes grouped not a single DPS defeat tartagila not even ayaka xianling or hu tao , his burst can easily vape for 200k
aggravate DPSes are basically how much can u proc fischl A4, which is why keqing is usually ahead i do notice that xiao has his undisputed best set but cyno's could be questioned
Exactly, I feel like cyno isn't done justice here because of the Gladiator set. Having him use Gilded Dreams or Tf would be much more logical since thats what his kit is more based on, reactions.
If the Gladiator set has a mile ahead better stats, the Gilded Dreams 4pcs bonus isn't gonna be that big of a factor. I'm in the same situation. I don't have a good Gilded dreams set so Gladiator I go.

@@stephenduran6060 Does the Eye that procs Cyno's enhance skill appear more often with TF? I personally also didn't farm TF since it's a horrible domain. So basically My Guilded and TF sets are both horrible.

Just for reference, I just beat masanori in 31s with lvl 89 gilded dreams white tassel C0 Cyno, even without having a proper em sands on him. I used the same team you did but with xingqiu instead of zhongli. I think its important to note (esp for those who have cyno and want him to be good) that it'll be different for everyone and that he is still a good/fun unit even if you're f2p.
14:40 there was just something inherently satisfying with Zhongli shielding right on the beat. I'm not sure if that was unintentional or if you edited that to perfection lol
Cyno and keqing's teams are really improveable - keqing can make a better use of quick swap supports ex: any vv shredder, kazuha, a dendro resonance activator or a hydro character for additional damage from hyperbloom and electro charge - while in cyno's case, a zhongli isn't as necessary as you certified him to be, in fact a vv anemo support would've made things just as good and even better, considering that cyno's attacks do knock and interrupt enemies and that's good enough with some occasional I-frames. - the way the robots in 12-2 was grouped is pretty terrible,as someone who've finished the abyss twice with cyno being up and down, c0 the runs could've got improved so much ex: the north corner behind their spawn, they get so close hence easier treatment to them, and cyno can immobilize them casually in his normal burst rotation. - Fischl isn't the best option, beidou would've did much better in a AoE situation , an hydro character in his team is optimal to activate dendro traveler's AoE so it can be much more beneficial compared to a single target slow dendro application - in fact one of the things that helped keqing with that the attacks of the vishap triggered the hydro version of the dmc's burst, that makes the aoe and the dendro application much better - for cyno, in AoE situations 4pc TF is more optimal, due to the skill being the biggest source of AoE damage. - hyperbloom cyno can perform much better against single target and should've been optimized in the OW bosses comparison . if you are trying to reach to the maximum potential of the "F2P-ish" version of a character alot of things could've got improved. Regardless, i think this just needs sometime to go, imo this just a really early showcase, with a lack of support and lack of understanding or "getting used to" cyno.
Raw scaling is important, supports help bring the scaling out, i cant wait for Xiao to get a dedicated support he would compete with the best, great video as always.
Compete with the best?(yeah no...) The support would have to be more cracked for xiao than c6 Sara is for raiden... and I dont think that will happen... a dedicated anemo support will probably come out for the next anemo dps... and won't be perfect for xiao but usable
Some leakers said that scaramouche will be an anemo dps and one 4* named faruzan/farusan (cant remember) will be a dedicated support for him. Hopefully he will be as useful for xiao as he'll be for scara
@@ChAnTAxR reactions are important yes, but not all reactions are made equal, MELT/VAPE are the only really good reactions that make a huge difference, because they take your damage and multiply it by 2 and 1.5. I really appreciate this showcase, thank you! It was mentioned here and worth highlighting that Cyno suffers from limited aggravate team comps since he needs a shield and battery. As we get more Dendro characters (all eyes are on Nahida) there's hope that Cyno will improve with time, as is the trend for new characters these days. I'm only playing him for fun factor at the moment and expect it will take quite some time for him to surpass some of the more cracked electro units. This was useful information; I feel like I can pace myself for farming and leveling him. I'm curious to see how much of a difference weapons and artifacts make on him though.
@@Ken-sj1ve awww well that would be most unfortunate. We were hopeful she'd generally work with any team like all the other archons. Still, there will eventually be more Dendro support units and all we would need is a good shield, healer, or battery to make him more viable. So i wouldn't bet on forever.
@@Ventouzo I like both Keqing and Cyno and think they're equally fun to play. Keqing is better as an early game choice, but Cyno gives us a bit more of an interesting challenge than stamina issues. I don't believe we've yet found the ceiling for Cyno's damage potential in the long run. He's definitely in need of a buff though.
Cyno has a really nice gameplay, it's sad that he isn't that strong in the current meta, also considering it depends by dendro. I would pulled him if he was stronger but I think I will go on nahida (I have 100%)
ive been testing some cyno comps as well, and as i thought, he is one of those characters that really shines with his signature weapon, like Itto. i have a few notes though: Fischl with tenacity4p is a good battery, HOWEVER this forces you into zhongli for protection. Also, traveller being the only dendro applicator available right now is a major weakness, with 12sec burst, shorter than cynos burst. You also cant use Bennett, because his burst eats up dendro's burst. The solution I've found is simple: Kuki shinobu. She gives resonance, she can wield 1H sapwood for an additional 120EM, and her heal lasts 15 seconds at C2. add Kazuha for crowd\aoeburst and buffs and you've got a decent comp. The only two flaws are: 1)you need to wait for Nahida for a proper dendro support. 2)there arents many electro supports available right now. A Diona-like support for Cyno would solve most of his issues in team building (shield mostly), but for now shinobu fits well.
She has always been good at healing it's just that you don't have many options for teams that uses her and she fucking ruined two of my 50/50(at least she tried but I was prepared for it anyway)
I think all characters can be good if they are well built, characters like qiqi, Xinyan and Lisa can be good, it’s just they are high investment and low return, other characters like xiao, ganyu, hutao, raiden are decent investment and Hight return, so qiqi isn’t bad, she’s just not the easiest to build.
Leave it up to hoyoverse to release a new limited 5 star that barely out damage a standard 5 star character released 2 years prior. Keep in mind that cyno’s kit was made with aggravate in consideration, whilst keqing’s wasn’t.

one thing i would like to mention is that cyno's team is barely finished as of now. nahida coming in 3.2 is going to be a big buff for cyno. also, his 5 star weapon powercreeps all other 4 stars on cyno by quite a bit. sure, xiao is also using the same weapon but the difference in death match and pjws(xiao's BIS) is almost negligible at r5. and the lack of a grouper on cyno's team was also a massive disadvantage.

@D D no. Cyno gets a much bigger buff. Kequing won't be buffed in any way. Her overall dmg wil remain the same as using her with the traveller. Cyno on the other hands gets a huge buff. One big issue that nahida fixes is enough dendro application untill cyno's ult is on. Dendro traveller's ult ends waay before cyno completes his ult and that's a hugebdps loss since I can't swap back to traveller to reapply dendro. Also the extra em not only increases his rxn dmg but also flat dmg cuz he scales off his em. Even his weapon deals more dmg cuz of more em.
@D D bro your speculation is off. U don't need to switch to apply dendro on new waves of enemies. Her butst does that already. It applies dendro to Newer enemies that spawn after u kill the older ones. And kazuha is a much better buffer than sucrose in these teams. Even the leakers have suggested that cyno works amazingly with nahida. And no nahida is not a dps unit, she is primarily a support. Her entire kit and even her weapon are to buff the teammates. And in this particular showcase, he used fav swork on traveller and not the sapwood blade. The fact that cyno won against a c6 kequing with a 4 star weapon that's significantly worse than his BIS already shows that cyno will be better than kequing after the bffs even at c0.
I would love to see a part two of these specifics DPS characters with their best teams and best builds, it would be interesting to see an actual Xiao team with Xianyun, or a Cyno's team with Furina, etc.
I think even with a dedicated support Xiao just has too much holding him back compared to the best/top tier DPS (mainly talking about his constellations and the c6 needing 2 enemies to proc restrictions) but I hope he gets one sooner or later and we can all watch him reach new heights of power scaling compared to now, I tried my best to make my xiao at least as strong as a normal main dps doing 62K per plunge but even then my Ayaka who I spent 2 weeks building out damages him :(
You can't really compare him to ayaka tbh. Ayaka's entire kit is dmg output and literally is an upgrade from ganyu. Her dmg goes to 1.1mil standard signature team, because her scaling are ridiculous. Xiao has to rely on his burst

Liked the video. I'm not surprised xiao pulled ahead though I'm surprised Keqing came out second. My only main complaints are that you didn't use beidou who has some and a longer field time along with tf to reset cyno's e cooldowns, and didn't use burgeon razor(thundering furry)
It was interesting seeing how close Razor was to Cyno, however I think the abyss 12 runs could be improved. I think Xiao was given an unfair advantage because the other teams lacked aoe and anemo. And I would have liked to see how well they do on the 2nd half. Beidou would have been a better choice than Fischl for the 1st half of the abyss, since there are so many mobs. You could then add an anemo character in place of Zhongli since Beidou gives interruption resistance, damage reduction, and a shield (at c1). Also her burst has a 15s duration, the same as Razor's and only 3s less than Cyno's. When playing with Razor I switch off of his burst when the team's persistent effects drop, and start up the next rotation. This leads to better team dps. I suspect the same could be done with Cyno. I really don't understand why people use Sucrose to battery Xiao when there are better options. Sucrose basically does nothing for the team except provide energy. She doesn't do much damage, the elemental mastery she provides is nearly useless for Xiao, using thrilling tales on her has diminishing returns due to Bennett's burst and Xiao's artifact set and weapon, pulling in the enemies for Xiao is not needed because of his large aoe, and anemo resonance isn't really useful except in the open world. It is much better to put a bit of ER on Xiao, and try to get geo or pyro resonance. My Xiao has 135% ER and he almost always has his burst ready during abyss runs. I usually use Albedo on my Xiao team instead of Sucrose. I would suggest Ningguang as the next best option. Nigguang provides lots of particles (especially if she is c2 and/or you give her Favonius Codex), she does decent burst damage if built for damage (even better at c6), and the team gets the 15% damage increase from geo resonance. Please consider doing the abyss runs again using Beidou and an anemo character on the electro teams. I would like to see prototype amber Sucrose.
This was one of the most interesting showdowns you've done but the abyss should have been on the second half because it favors quicken and you can use anything for first half. Most people would use their quicken team on the second half, not the first.
Remember, this is before Nahida so with the extra EM bonus and Nahida's own personal dmg, I think Keqing will have closer result to Xiao is in this video. Cyno and Razor too can gain some boost in their performance I really hope we get Xiao support soon
Using an anemo support/buffer like sucrose or kazuha (instead of zhongli) in the aggravate teams would put them a lot closer to xiao’s teams. Their buffing capability makes a huge difference and it’s something that xiao can’t utilize
@@Damiemdude Both Razor and Cyno would likely need a shielder. They have to spend too much time on-field spamming autos whereas keqing has a ton of i-frames with her burst and can be quick swapped.

A bit unfair to not use Thundering Fury on Cyno if you're gonna use it on Keqing, no? It improves his AoE damage and particle generation, which you said were some of Cyno's issues. You could've also used Beidou instead of Fischl as all the chambers were AoE oriented.
Fischl is significantly better for this since her A4 can also help with the aoe as she hits any enemy he does an aggravate on. Also beidou is very energy hungry so to would've been two energy needing characters that can't battery each other.
Using Thundering Fury on Cyno while spamming his skill might mess up his skill cooldowns and a great percentage of his aoe comes from activating his skill during the eye frame. Additionally, using Beidou comes with another set of problems as she also has ER issues and is usually played with Fischl. Keqing, however does not have ER issues and could actually use Beidou better than Cyno, so I would see using Fischl as a more fair comparison.
Love the video! I figured you’d probably be making a Cyno featured dps showdown at some point. Decided to finally subscribe to the account lol. If you’re gonna do a C5 Cyno showdown, I would love to see how he fairs against Raiden Shogun. They’re both electro characters that work pretty well as carries, and their bursts are also similar in that they put them in an altered state for a time. I’m pretty sure I know who’d come out on top, but I am curious if there’s any situation in which Cyno would be noticeably better than Raiden Shogun.
I have a C0 Xiao and my plunges does the same damage IWTL did WITH Bennet while I could do around 50k per plunge without. So, I'd say he nerfed Xiao using artifacts quite fairly. And he didn't use Xiao's unlimited E skill after a plunge into a mob of enemies. C6 Xiao could have easily gone to 70k range if he's built optimally.

@@braaandt He gives the disclaimer at the beginning of every showdown that this is not a 100% accurate way to test this stuff and that he is using the method that he finds to be the closest to accurate as possible by mathing out the damage percentage of each character. Now obviously its not like he can disable constellations or remove talent levels, and the RNG nature of artifacts means he cannot guarantee exactly equivalent artifacts for each character.
These showdowns are to kind of give a rough idea of a characters potential. Not to define any meta or who you can play. Also what defines the meta is teams, not individual characters. Just treat it as entertainment because that is what it is.
The fact that the Keqing team didn't even use Kazuha instead of Zhongli and still go 2nd place is such a good look for her. Why Keqing looks to be better than Cyno is not because of her personal damage, but because of her quick swap ability that can allow the team to use Kazuha or C6 Sucrose, maintain the VV shred and dmg bonus (and/or EM share) 100% of the time and proc more of Fischl's A4 passive. This Keqing team can go without a healer because of the quickswap and s.
I'm just really happy how Dendro turned out for Keqing. I C6-ed my Bennett months ago with hope that Dendro will save Keqing. And it did. And it saved Razor too. When C6 Bennett screwed Razor's phys damage, it gave him the Thundering Furry build so I ended up getting the best from C6 Bennett.

Yeah, put on some cryo support, if u have c6 Diona user her and dendro traveler. Diona will give him superconduct and 200 EM which will buff all of his DMG on his burst. While Zhongli is good for Razor, he doesn't need it and Diona could have helped way more since he can to physical and aggravate at the same time while shielding him too (which Razor doesn't even need that much because of his super armor is better than Cyno) Swap Fischl out since Razor doesn't need a battery at all

Yeah I wondered too if IWtL is purposely making Razor lok bad with suboptimal team and weird attack pattern. I guess it was about electro quicken/aggrevate match but then why the hell is Xiao taking part? Also weird part is measuring TIME while having C6 Xiao and C6 Kequing and pretending they're "C0". If he wants to accurate then damage per second should be measured and recalculated for C0.

i do think that keqing could have performed better if you had capitalized on the key difference between cyno and keqing, being the fact that keqing is not selfish like cyno. You are fully able to leave her stilleto on the group and just swap out and swap back in for the infusion. Traveler could've run sapwood blade and due to the quickswap-y nature of keqing's playstyle, you swap in and out of your different characters.. just a thought. would've been cool if the overworld tests also included this.

True. Also, Traveler should have used Instuctor's set instead of Noblesse. And I think Keqing does better with attack sands and EM substats, plus external EM (like Sapwood and Instructor).
Main thing too is Keqing is much better at running without healer/shielder due to quickswap nature, and actually can utilize VV fully, so bringing anemo units like Kazuha can dramatically improve her damage output

You could always say, oh just use so and so with X character and he will do better. Maybe just use raiden to alleviate all of their energy problems then? But that wouldn’t showcase the character he’s trying to showcase
I appreciate this round feeling more down to Earth and feels like we get an idea of each characters strengths and weaknesses. I think its a little unfortunate Cyno has some issues but Im glad hes still in line as a fun character.

Whereas i would say you pretty much need Zhongli with Xiao and Cyno because of their long burst durations and knockback you can comfortably swap in either Sucrose or Kazuha with VV onto Keqing's team which makes her the best out of these 4 in my opinion.

I think hyperbloom on gilded might be the better team for Cyno. From my experience if you run Xingqiu and Beidou with him you almost completely resolve his survivability while doing much more damage through Xingqiu and Beidou. Pair that with the fact that there is no icd on the cores and you'll have (in my personal testing) a team that does more damage than aggravate, and is also more comfortable to play.
100% my hyperbloom cyno team cleared these floors way faster than even xiao I think people are being a little dramatic with his knowback and you don’t need to play him for his entire burst imo.
True. I use Kuki with Instructors and Sapwood Blade, and Cyno on Missive Windspear, >800 EM when he's in his burst and the hyperblooms do mad damage. I find it more enjoyable when I'm doing different elemental damage in my teams 😆

@@amirul3233 It's Cyno/Yelan/DMC/Kuki, Kuki has 100 EM, 22k HP, and healing bonus, nothing special. Cyno triggers >90% of the hyperblooms so my kuki isn't EM focused. I feel like Yelan applies less hydro so I aggravate more than I would with Xingqui (plus her damage boost is nice, but I lowkey miss Xingqui's damage resistance).
@@stagnantwaterfall ah I see. I'm currently using him with Zhongli, DMC, and Xingqiu. Zhongli definitely helps with the survivability and interruption resistance while Xingqiu like you said, applied hydro better and provide little healing.
I'm not sure if I should replace Zhongli with Kuki for battery and more healing, since my Cyno already has 150% er and fav weapons on Zhongli and DMC.

What are you talking about? This comparison video was completly trash. Keqing should run kazuha instead of zhongli (if he has c6 kazuha then at least put sucrose) and cyno should be paired with beidou. His first solo dps comparison is just stupid to say the least, it's obvious that em builds won't do much so what's the point. And he should test them in the other half of abyss as well as it focus more on single target dmg so it would be a better sample instead of 3 chambers of aoe scenarios which obviously favors xiao team. In truth keqing's best team would outperform xiao's best team in single target dmg and it would be close if not better in aoe. What's the point of showing non optimal teams against the best xiao team in environment that is made for xiao.

yes, keqing and cyno CAN run different teams, this is true.
you will absolutely get a higher raw damage output using kazuha with freedom+C2, and beidou for zhongli's spot, HOWEVER and this is the most important part...
most people don't care for perfect optimization, and will simply run zhongli for ease and comfort because that level of raw output isn't necessary.
it's why i gave up dragonstriking teams... it's just a lot of consistent effort for no real gain because you're still clearing in 30 seconds.
this comparison video isn't about what's the theoretical highest team comp damage that these characters can run, or C6 showcases... it's just the average person who saves for the character to see the relative performance using basic investment, maybe they got 1 or 2 BP, and that's really it.
99% of the community can't even perform dragonstrike and i was guilty of always including those results in damage tests such as noelle vs itto, or melt/vape diluc.
you can see this when looking at usage rate cases... theorycrafters mald TF out at people using zhongli in non-optimal ways because the average player doesn't give a fuck if they can clear 3 seconds faster as the difficulty for 36 stars has been a joke for well over a year.

Last time he tried making optimal teams for every character, everyone complained about Yelan taking Diluc's spotlight. The goal was not to optimize every single character. It was to find a standard that has the smallest amount of variables along with the smallest difference in effectiveness between levels of support. If you want a more optimized-for-dps comparison, feel free to make your own comparison, but don't pretend this was some secret plot to hype Xiao up. He's been one of the worst preforming characters in these videos for a long time. I'm pretty sure this is literally the first time he's done well on this channel for showdowns, and IWTL was constantly pointing out how many different ways this could be done throughout the video.

Top notch content as always. I think it’s really important to acknowledge that the top half of current abyss 12 definitely favours Xiao’s AoE damage, and Xiao might not perform as well comparatively on the bottom half. Really appreciate the effort that went into this!

I really like that four screens abyss showdown. Yes, it's a bit crowded, but you can pick one or two to look at and at the same time you get the general idea of who finishes first. And also I'm very glad to see affordable teams with focus on the showcased characters. Very cool!

So happy to see Keqing shine. Playing her w 4TF Aggravate comp feels very satisfying, and pushes an insane amount of DMG in a short span of time, (E cast > Q > E slash > 1CA > E cast > slash is the rotation that works for me when aggravate works.) It helps that I slapped Mistsplitter on my C3 keqing haha
My love of meta will never exceed my love of xiao, but still proud of my boi for doing so well here . ~ a f2p currently saving to c6 xiao, however long it takes
i hope you're aware that xiao's C6 playstyle actually loses out to normal plunge attacks when there are 4 or more enemies on field... and it doesn't work with only 1 so it's genuinely only useful with specifically 2 or 3 enemies. I really wish they let us use it on single enemies

I just want to point out that I keep seeing people use Fischl with Cyno in multi target scenarios and that’s the main reason why she is not a the BIS electro support for him. It’s actually Beidou. She takes care of any AOE dmg Cyno misses. Cyno is literally Beidou’s best driver undoubtedly because they generate energy and drive each other quite smoothly. think to use Fischl who provides nothing to Cyno but single target aggravates is not optimal. She’s better off with Keqing. I think the idea that Fischl is his best meta electro support at the moment needs to be challenged because Beidou exist and is getting slept on.
I also had a dream ;) that Nahida marks enemies in a big AOE, so her and Beidou doing dmg to multiple targets bouncing off each other seems to me like a pretty broken combo.
I think that cyno's performance Also got effected because they weren't fighting the bosses from 2nd half in spyral abyss, so getting rid of many mobs without AoE is a huge mess already.

Really goes to show how Keqing, despite having lower raw damage, benefits a lot from having more flexible team compositions (you can even swap out Zhongli for Kazuha for her team without worrying as much about being interrupted) and rotations (Fischl has no down time, and anemo supports would have no down time if they were used)

Nahida gives him a lot of dmg comparing to other dps electro characters like razor or keqing, so if you are goin: Cyno, Nahida, Beidou, Kuki it will be super fun and easy to complete abyss. (If you want you can exchange beidou for xinqiu or yelan but I dont prefer it cuz you are stealing reactions from cyno)

Pretty fun video. Didnt roll for Cyno, although the character looks cool af. Dont have Xiao either, despite thinking his storyline is awesome. But dont like his playstyle very much.
Of course i have Keqing C0 and C4 Razor. And i barely touch them. Maybe give Keqing a shot, since i have R2 or R3 Lion's Roar, but its probably way after Dendro Archon is released. Saving up mats and gold for 3.2 for now.

He do be good, but this video is a poor representation of the potential of the characters showcased. Keqing's and Razor build was scuffed and not even in theor best teams, and Cyno's I think its better to have more elemental mastery.
Out of the mid C0 characters he's actually pretty good. His mediocrity only begins to show when placed next to xiangling or ayaka.
he's mid against top tier characters like ayaka or hutao but he's not a bad unit in general, he's close to itto or eula in power level

It is also worth noting that Keqing (yes I'm biased) can be put in a quick swap team with Sucrose rather than Zhongli. With lots of available s, that team can utilize Sucrose's em sharing, elemental dmg bonus, and vv shred easily. That can yield higher dmg than Zhongli at the expense of safety. I've personally tried it (ran Sucrose with Prototyoe Amber just in case) and the result was satisfying!

That's exactly what I think. It's clear to see how Cyno has been misunderstood, and it's so obvious he's meant to be played this way by just looking at the blessing they are giving in the Spiral Abyss: it's all focused on Bloom, Hyperbloom...but there is no buff for aggravate, and we all know they always give buffs to benefit new characters when they are released, so they are clearly pushing us to use him this way instead. My thoughts on Cyno completely changed after I realized this, and stopped focusing on pure aggravate teams and got a hydro unit in there: he's so much stronger than this showcase suggests. Hope y'all don't realize it too late if this is preventing you from pulling him. ;)

I was waiting for this! Cyno's main drawback right now (imo) is that he outlasts most supports, so rotations can get a bit messy. I hope you'll come back to this in 6 months/a year to compare them again (in particular Cyno vs Xiao).

Great video as always. The one thing I'd say is that cyno is more geared for bossing, so the second half of the the spiral abyss might have been more indicative of his potential.

seems like the keqing vs cyno mindset is the same as the ayato vs childe. while cyno does more personal damage, he is quite selfish and doesnt do much to enable his teamates compared to keqing's smoother rotations allowing her to enable fischl really well. in the same vein, ayato usually does more personal damage than childe but childe's kit is better suited to enable xiangling vapes
The only thing kequing has an edge to cyno is personal damage. But either way, their team damage is close to equal. Overall, in the eyes of meta. Personal damage is useless if the team damage is garbage. Unlike childe and ayato, ayato has noticeabley less hydro application

Just put his burst and you got a nice source of hydro application, plus his 6 seconds dps window allows for teams that can use quick swap as a main source of gameplay. If you play dps childe, you will need to play efficiently, and most ppl (like me) just like to chill and press some buttons and fight without that cooldown or rotation nonsense

Exactly, I feel like cyno isn't done justice here because of the Gladiator set. Having him use Gilded Dreams or Tf would be much more logical since thats what his kit is more based on, reactions.

If the Gladiator set has a mile ahead better stats, the Gilded Dreams 4pcs bonus isn't gonna be that big of a factor. I'm in the same situation. I don't have a good Gilded dreams set so Gladiator I go.

Just for reference, I just beat masanori in 31s with lvl 89 gilded dreams white tassel C0 Cyno, even without having a proper em sands on him. I used the same team you did but with xingqiu instead of zhongli. I think its important to note (esp for those who have cyno and want him to be good) that it'll be different for everyone and that he is still a good/fun unit even if you're f2p.

Cyno and keqing's teams are really improveable
- keqing can make a better use of quick swap supports ex: any vv shredder, kazuha, a dendro resonance activator or a hydro character for additional damage from hyperbloom and electro charge
- while in cyno's case, a zhongli isn't as necessary as you certified him to be, in fact a vv anemo support would've made things just as good and even better, considering that cyno's attacks do knock and interrupt enemies and that's good enough with some occasional I-frames.
- the way the robots in 12-2 was grouped is pretty terrible,as someone who've finished the abyss twice with cyno being up and down, c0 the runs could've got improved so much ex: the north corner behind their spawn, they get so close hence easier treatment to them, and cyno can immobilize them casually in his normal burst rotation.
- Fischl isn't the best option, beidou would've did much better in a AoE situation , an hydro character in his team is optimal to activate dendro traveler's AoE so it can be much more beneficial compared to a single target slow dendro application
- in fact one of the things that helped keqing with that the attacks of the vishap triggered the hydro version of the dmc's burst, that makes the aoe and the dendro application much better
- for cyno, in AoE situations 4pc TF is more optimal, due to the skill being the biggest source of AoE damage.
- hyperbloom cyno can perform much better against single target and should've been optimized in the OW bosses comparison
. if you are trying to reach to the maximum potential of the "F2P-ish" version of a character alot of things could've got improved.
Regardless, i think this just needs sometime to go, imo this just a really early showcase, with a lack of support and lack of understanding or "getting used to" cyno.

Some leakers said that scaramouche will be an anemo dps and one 4* named faruzan/farusan (cant remember) will be a dedicated support for him. Hopefully he will be as useful for xiao as he'll be for scara
@@ChAnTAxR reactions are important yes, but not all reactions are made equal, MELT/VAPE are the only really good reactions that make a huge difference, because they take your damage and multiply it by 2 and 1.5. I really appreciate this showcase, thank you! It was mentioned here and worth highlighting that Cyno suffers from limited aggravate team comps since he needs a shield and battery. As we get more Dendro characters (all eyes are on Nahida) there's hope that Cyno will improve with time, as is the trend for new characters these days. I'm only playing him for fun factor at the moment and expect it will take quite some time for him to surpass some of the more cracked electro units. This was useful information; I feel like I can pace myself for farming and leveling him. I'm curious to see how much of a difference weapons and artifacts make on him though.
That being said, keqing will also improve more and she'll definitely best him because of her quick rotation

@@Ken-sj1ve awww well that would be most unfortunate. We were hopeful she'd generally work with any team like all the other archons. Still, there will eventually be more Dendro support units and all we would need is a good shield, healer, or battery to make him more viable. So i wouldn't bet on forever.
@@Ventouzo I like both Keqing and Cyno and think they're equally fun to play. Keqing is better as an early game choice, but Cyno gives us a bit more of an interesting challenge than stamina issues. I don't believe we've yet found the ceiling for Cyno's damage potential in the long run. He's definitely in need of a buff though.

Cyno has a really nice gameplay, it's sad that he isn't that strong in the current meta, also considering it depends by dendro. I would pulled him if he was stronger but I think I will go on nahida (I have 100%)
ive been testing some cyno comps as well, and as i thought, he is one of those characters that really shines with his signature weapon, like Itto. i have a few notes though: Fischl with tenacity4p is a good battery, HOWEVER this forces you into zhongli for protection. Also, traveller being the only dendro applicator available right now is a major weakness, with 12sec burst, shorter than cynos burst. You also cant use Bennett, because his burst eats up dendro's burst. The solution I've found is simple: Kuki shinobu. She gives resonance, she can wield 1H sapwood for an additional 120EM, and her heal lasts 15 seconds at C2. add Kazuha for crowd\aoeburst and buffs and you've got a decent comp. The only two flaws are: 1)you need to wait for Nahida for a proper dendro support. 2)there arents many electro supports available right now. A Diona-like support for Cyno would solve most of his issues in team building (shield mostly), but for now shinobu fits well.

She has always been good at healing it's just that you don't have many options for teams that uses her and she fucking ruined two of my 50/50(at least she tried but I was prepared for it anyway)
I think all characters can be good if they are well built, characters like qiqi, Xinyan and Lisa can be good, it’s just they are high investment and low return, other characters like xiao, ganyu, hutao, raiden are decent investment and Hight return, so qiqi isn’t bad, she’s just not the easiest to build.

one thing i would like to mention is that cyno's team is barely finished as of now. nahida coming in 3.2 is going to be a big buff for cyno. also, his 5 star weapon powercreeps all other 4 stars on cyno by quite a bit. sure, xiao is also using the same weapon but the difference in death match and pjws(xiao's BIS) is almost negligible at r5. and the lack of a grouper on cyno's team was also a massive disadvantage.

@D D no. Cyno gets a much bigger buff. Kequing won't be buffed in any way. Her overall dmg wil remain the same as using her with the traveller. Cyno on the other hands gets a huge buff. One big issue that nahida fixes is enough dendro application untill cyno's ult is on. Dendro traveller's ult ends waay before cyno completes his ult and that's a hugebdps loss since I can't swap back to traveller to reapply dendro. Also the extra em not only increases his rxn dmg but also flat dmg cuz he scales off his em. Even his weapon deals more dmg cuz of more em.
@D D bro your speculation is off. U don't need to switch to apply dendro on new waves of enemies. Her butst does that already. It applies dendro to Newer enemies that spawn after u kill the older ones. And kazuha is a much better buffer than sucrose in these teams. Even the leakers have suggested that cyno works amazingly with nahida. And no nahida is not a dps unit, she is primarily a support. Her entire kit and even her weapon are to buff the teammates. And in this particular showcase, he used fav swork on traveller and not the sapwood blade. The fact that cyno won against a c6 kequing with a 4 star weapon that's significantly worse than his BIS already shows that cyno will be better than kequing after the bffs even at c0.
I would love to see a part two of these specifics DPS characters with their best teams and best builds, it would be interesting to see an actual Xiao team with Xianyun, or a Cyno's team with Furina, etc.

I think even with a dedicated support Xiao just has too much holding him back compared to the best/top tier DPS (mainly talking about his constellations and the c6 needing 2 enemies to proc restrictions) but I hope he gets one sooner or later and we can all watch him reach new heights of power scaling compared to now, I tried my best to make my xiao at least as strong as a normal main dps doing 62K per plunge but even then my Ayaka who I spent 2 weeks building out damages him :(
You can't really compare him to ayaka tbh. Ayaka's entire kit is dmg output and literally is an upgrade from ganyu. Her dmg goes to 1.1mil standard signature team, because her scaling are ridiculous. Xiao has to rely on his burst

Liked the video. I'm not surprised xiao pulled ahead though I'm surprised Keqing came out second. My only main complaints are that you didn't use beidou who has some and a longer field time along with tf to reset cyno's e cooldowns, and didn't use burgeon razor(thundering furry)

It was interesting seeing how close Razor was to Cyno, however I think the abyss 12 runs could be improved. I think Xiao was given an unfair advantage because the other teams lacked aoe and anemo. And I would have liked to see how well they do on the 2nd half.
Beidou would have been a better choice than Fischl for the 1st half of the abyss, since there are so many mobs. You could then add an anemo character in place of Zhongli since Beidou gives interruption resistance, damage reduction, and a shield (at c1). Also her burst has a 15s duration, the same as Razor's and only 3s less than Cyno's.
When playing with Razor I switch off of his burst when the team's persistent effects drop, and start up the next rotation. This leads to better team dps. I suspect the same could be done with Cyno.
I really don't understand why people use Sucrose to battery Xiao when there are better options. Sucrose basically does nothing for the team except provide energy. She doesn't do much damage, the elemental mastery she provides is nearly useless for Xiao, using thrilling tales on her has diminishing returns due to Bennett's burst and Xiao's artifact set and weapon, pulling in the enemies for Xiao is not needed because of his large aoe, and anemo resonance isn't really useful except in the open world. It is much better to put a bit of ER on Xiao, and try to get geo or pyro resonance. My Xiao has 135% ER and he almost always has his burst ready during abyss runs. I usually use Albedo on my Xiao team instead of Sucrose. I would suggest Ningguang as the next best option.
Nigguang provides lots of particles (especially if she is c2 and/or you give her Favonius Codex), she does decent burst damage if built for damage (even better at c6), and the team gets the 15% damage increase from geo resonance.
Please consider doing the abyss runs again using Beidou and an anemo character on the electro teams. I would like to see prototype amber Sucrose.

This was one of the most interesting showdowns you've done but the abyss should have been on the second half because it favors quicken and you can use anything for first half. Most people would use their quicken team on the second half, not the first.
Remember, this is before Nahida so with the extra EM bonus and Nahida's own personal dmg, I think Keqing will have closer result to Xiao is in this video. Cyno and Razor too can gain some boost in their performance

Using an anemo support/buffer like sucrose or kazuha (instead of zhongli) in the aggravate teams would put them a lot closer to xiao’s teams. Their buffing capability makes a huge difference and it’s something that xiao can’t utilize
Using Cyno without a shield feels extremely painful though...
@@Damiemdude Both Razor and Cyno would likely need a shielder. They have to spend too much time on-field spamming autos whereas keqing has a ton of i-frames with her burst and can be quick swapped.
@@pfortunato78 Thats why I think keqings times would be lower as kazuha could be used rather than zhongli, but Cyno and Razor time likely wont change much.

A bit unfair to not use Thundering Fury on Cyno if you're gonna use it on Keqing, no? It improves his AoE damage and particle generation, which you said were some of Cyno's issues. You could've also used Beidou instead of Fischl as all the chambers were AoE oriented.
How does tf increase his AOE?

Fischl is significantly better for this since her A4 can also help with the aoe as she hits any enemy he does an aggravate on. Also beidou is very energy hungry so to would've been two energy needing characters that can't battery each other.

Using Thundering Fury on Cyno while spamming his skill might mess up his skill cooldowns and a great percentage of his aoe comes from activating his skill during the eye frame. Additionally, using Beidou comes with another set of problems as she also has ER issues and is usually played with Fischl. Keqing, however does not have ER issues and could actually use Beidou better than Cyno, so I would see using Fischl as a more fair comparison.

If you’re gonna do a C5 Cyno showdown, I would love to see how he fairs against Raiden Shogun. They’re both electro characters that work pretty well as carries, and their bursts are also similar in that they put them in an altered state for a time. I’m pretty sure I know who’d come out on top, but I am curious if there’s any situation in which Cyno would be noticeably better than Raiden Shogun.
I'd rather see a Super Conducting Razor vs a Aggravate Cyno and maybe Physical Keqing vs Tazer Kequing vs Pyro Keqing. But that's me.

the reason Xiao is a bit better might be because of constellation 3 and 5 which boost his damage
I have a C0 Xiao and my plunges does the same damage IWTL did WITH Bennet while I could do around 50k per plunge without. So, I'd say he nerfed Xiao using artifacts quite fairly. And he didn't use Xiao's unlimited E skill after a plunge into a mob of enemies. C6 Xiao could have easily gone to 70k range if he's built optimally.
