Miyajima Day Trip | Hiking Mt. Misen, Daisho-in Temple, Momijidani Park

Itsukushima, also known as Miyajima, is most known for its beautiful floating torii gate, nature spots (Momijidani Park in the fall is absolutely gorgeous), and yes, aggressive deer.

It is a wonderful place to visit if you are in Hiroshima as it is only a short ferry ride away.

Nature lovers can soak up the breathtaking view of mountains and sea, while adventure lovers can stretch their legs on a hike up Mt. Misen. This hike is perfect for seeing some of the island's best spots all in one day: Daisho-in Temple, Mt. Misen Observatory, and Momijidani Park.
