Miyajima Island | Mt. Misen Hike with iconic views! Day trip from Hiroshima | Japan travel vlog

Hello everyone!
Welcome to another vlog! Join us on an unforgettable adventure to Miyajima Island, one of Japan's three iconic views!
We start our journey with a ferry ride, taking in the breathtaking sights of the famous Itsukushima Shrine. Then, on the island, we visit this amazing temple, which offers one of the most recognisable views of Japan: The floating torii gate.
Then, we embark on an exhilarating hike up Mt. Misen, where stunning vistas await. There are several hiking trails and even a ropeway. We decided against the ropeway and climbed up on foot. We choose a "nature" themed hike to go up but as we were going down, we chose another path, which was more "culture" themed.
Coming down we visited Daisho-in Temple, an amazing hidden temple in the forest.
After conquering the mountain, we indulge in delicious street food and savor the local favorite, Momiji Manju.
