I wanted to try Apex Legends but a friend of mine, a veteran player, literally called it a "wasteland of toxicity". As a noob myself, that immediately got me running to the hills. 😅
I honestly do t feel like its toxic but at the same time I never ah with randoms. Definitely feel like it would be hard to pickup jow especially since the only people left are the hardcore player
@TheFlapjack I gave it a try but ended up uninstalling it. But not for the reason you might think! Coming from Valorant, I loved that each legend has its own unique set of skills no doubt. The guns on the other hand... The guns were a huge turn-off. A bit technological for my taste. Also, the overall colors and visual effects clutter when you get attacked. Man, that's just too much visual stimuli for my poor eyes and brain. 😂 I need a more traditional BR game with no thrills to it.
people bitching about SBMM being replaced by something worse make me chuckle, really hard. over and over i see their argument against E.O.M.M being "well, its bad because it puts average players against pro players". Well, when people used to defend SBMM saying that it protects normal players from high skilled ones, everyone said its bullshit and it should never be the priority of a match making system
I understand sbmm in theory but it feels like it never actually works in practice. Also it I felt way better when there was 2-3 people in the lobby lower or at my skill level and then like 1 above.
@@TheFlapjack I get it, apex matchmaking always felt off, no matter the method. To be honest, there is too many hurdles for the system to overcome, player population, player location and skill bracket difference, now that the population of players has declined, it's even worse. For the past 2 years, if I could find a game in any week day it would be a miracle, latam servers are dead, they have been for a long time and that made every match a clown fiesta. My problem is that people don't only oppose sbmm in practice, but in theory as well.
Is it not possible to get rid of matchmaking algorithms and just have it be random? I feel doing it like that or making it to where groups can only queue it groups and solos can only queue at solos would be so much better for the game.
I can’t play apex because of the robot ass teammates (literally) and along getting no teammates at all most of the time and sbmm and eomm fuck me over badly when extremely rarely play the game in general in my opinion. Waffle juice
I pretty much always have a 3 stack if I play and tbh it just feels stale now. The legends I like I have played enough. I have hit what I wanted to hit in ranked. Im not a pro. There aint anything left.
"the game is not dying bro" while showing a massive downward slope representing players is wild
dude i said jiryah isnt dying like the dude from naruto. when he dies they play the music that hiswatson is playing lol
