  • Kara Goss, MD presents a lecture about the long-term effects of premature birth on lung injury and pulmonary function. Dr. Goss is a faculty member in the Department of Medicine at the UW School of Medicine and Public Health. Her research interests focus on understanding prematurity and postnatal oxygen exposure on the cardiopulmonary unit, with a specific interest in the acute and chronic adaptive responses of the right ventricle and pulmonary vasculature following prematurity.
