i own a 2024 street glide. i rode a 24 road glide and i felt like the bike was so far away from me while riding it. the street glide feels like im part of the bike where the road glide feels kind of like im steering a boat

I ride a 2005 Electraglide and am considering either a newer street glide or Road Glide as an upgrade. I have heard that taller riders prefer the RG and I am 5ft 9. When it comes time I will test ride both and see what I think.
Honestly, both are a waste of money. There’s no preferences involved here. Thats what they wanna make you feel. The tourers gets outdated very fast. 5 years in, these tourers are gonna look reallly old compared to the ever green softails. And that’s because of the infotainment garbage. Get yourself a good softail, improve on the shocks/absorbers, put in a plush seat and you’ll enjoy more than these tourers. Trust me, I’ve owned many of these bikes.
When I was younger, I hated the front fairing on the RG. Now that BC I’m older, I love them!

I like both bikes . I’m leaning more towards a Road Glide for my next bike . You can’t go wrong with either one though !
Rent both for a long mile weekend. I did and chose Road Glide.

shopping around for my first harley when you buy wheels for the street glide or road glide you just buy front wheels or need to buy a rear ?
Seem more practical to want the wind to buff with your turns. You become more one with the bike
