Dude why do you think? You think I heard it and left it in, or I didn't hear it. I think the original commenter was just pointing it out, it is kinda funny a bunch of people say they think it's them and rewind it to make sure they weren't hearing things lol, but it's obviously just a mistake. I don't think people understand that nearly every line is said about 3 times, the audio recording is more than three times the cut down version, and every now and then some mistakes slip through.
MetaNerdz Lore I`m sorry. I should not have written ''I really wonder'' , instead I meant ''I wonder'' . I wrote is as a passing thought not as a angry comment. I`m really sorry :( I didn`t know you say the lines about 3 times! Recording is alot harder than I imagined. Any way your vids are fantastic! I will pray for further success! Good luck :D
the hex bomber got its name from the hex warhead the hex bomber got its name from the hex warhead the hex bomber got its name from the hex warhead the hex bomber got its name from the hex warhead the hex bomber got its name from the hex warhead
The first time it's " the hex bomber THEIR name..." I can see why he needed to redo the sentence. (It sucks cuz youtube doesn't allow little edits without reloading the whole video and losing all those initial views) I like to double lines in these videos...gives us something fun to do.
The pros: Super cheap Very fast and maneuverable Moderate armor (that brown is bronzium) Heavy armament of lasers Can carry missiles Can pull maneuvers that would kill an organic Can coordinate with machine precision Machine accuracy Can piggyback on larger hyperdrive ships without the need for hangers Can actually pull dual duty as a light walker (would love to see one face off with an AT-ST) Cons: No shielding Short flight time VERY dependent on carrier vessels (30min for fuel on max burn I think it was) No hyperdrive Neutral: Droid brain less dynamic than human but more consistent and can have their programming improved for a fleet wide instantaneous piloting improvement. Designed to look like crazy religious bug aliens, alternate universe Star Wars must have large people shaped droid fighters flying around like voltron. Has best "shot down" mechanics in space. They just careen off into explosions, usually on fire. Side note: standard clone troopers are just organic droids with better plot armor.
Yeah, its cons were pretty devastating for any non-CIS faction. To field them in large numbers you'd need a Lucrehulk and a constant stream of them coming in and out to refuel. Considering they could come in on any ship, not just carriers, you'd probably have all your hangar bays full at all times as a constant tide entered and left to be refuelled and rearmed. It makes sense that the Empire would want to move away from carrier-based warfare. Played correctly an ISD would have a good shot at taking out a Lucrehulk (keeping the TIEs as an escort) after which it just needs to survive for 30 minutes or leave and the entire fighter group is neutralised.
If Sidious wasn't manipulating the C.I.S. in the background they could have easily beaten the republic. More equipment. More cheaply built. More unit specializations.
Which leads to the interesting _what if ?_ … Palpatine is accidental killed (say during the battle of Coruscant a stray shot hits him from behind, Grievous disobeys orders and kills him ect. He had a lot of close calls) along with Dooku and its just a straight out *war without any string pulling.* How would it play out? *CIS* has massive logistics, numbers and recruitment (droids) advantage, *GAR* has the best special forces in the Jedi and one on one better soldiers in the clones … generally. And both sides might change their nature without the machiavellian string pulling… e.g. CIS make better droids the standard model and upgrade the software of current inventory. GAR start recruiting military from generall population (or even conscription) and/or start adding their own droids as base units and for support. Then it becomes a toss up. But if they both stay true to form the CIS eventually wins through attrition unless the GAR get lucky and can take out the CIS leadership with Jedi strike teams which now won't have palps giving the game away - although the Jedi have got to stop playing nice and just assassinate enemy leaders, not capture for trial. But generally, CIS for the win.
You're absolutely right! The CIS / Separatist Alliance is my favorite Star Wars faction with the most diverse military Navel Star Fleet in the Galaxy! My favorite is both the Vulture Droid and the Scarab Fighters.
The separatists were rather inventive in their variation it's awesome..considering their military capabilities compared to the republic..It may not be a starfighter but the Malevolence being another great example of variation or using buzz droids in missiles..The gunship platform..All decent attempts to adapt to and bring down the republics forces and counter it's rigid command structure and tactics..I'm a big droid starfighter fan just a shame they only flew for about 30 mins after heading out lol..The kamikaze effect or support role it could play as a walker also speaks to the separatists variation of both craft/vehicles and the role's they take.
Then go to google and writte all cis ships and then select the first that says all cis starship classes find their starfighters and you will see them all with alphabetical order
Its always amazing to look at the numbers and see just how many fighters could be carried by each of the CIS ships. We praise the Venator for how many ships it can carry, however when you look at what the CIS could throw out with ANY of their ships and not just carrier ones, we see those numbers almost always outmatching what the republic could field. I would go as far to that that if the republic had used SDs instead of the Venators I believe that the war would have been a complete disaster for the Republic, as the almost no point defenses have been massively magnified when facing fighter numbers that would be 5-20x greater than what a normal SD can field. This is all guessing the Republic would use the Imp 1 if it was the Imp II things would be even worse since those have ZERO point defenses. Yea their firepower is way beyond what a CIS ship can bring to bear, but its already been show that victory almost always goes to the person with more/better star fighters to throw around and CIS ships for the most part were way better that most of what was used by an SD.
OH NO! AN UCS VENATOR JUMPED OUT OF HYPERSPACE AND THE SEPARATIST NEED HELP! SEND IN THE TRI DROIDS, HYEANA CLASS BOMBERS, VULTURE DROIDS, AND EVERYTHING ELSE WE GOT
Boisegang they are a grouping of various cultures and organisations throughout the Republic. They probably should have tried standardised production if they had the time (they could have done) but unless they started it in secret it'd be tricky.
Maybe. Could have stated that it would be to "lower costs" or some corporate bull-crap anyway. They were planning to do it for a while. and Sidious provided them with an opportunity. The big problem the CIS had is that they didn't take advantage of the fact that their soldiers were able to fight as soon as they were off the assembly line. Imagine having a ship that was a mini-factory(like a Lucrehulk with the main core part being resource storage and the arms being manufacturing). Or, even worse, if the Republic tried to attack a factory, all it would need to do is keep churning out battle droids and the defenses wouldn't be able to be overrun. Honestly, considering the number of combatants in the Clone Wars, it's honestly ridiculously small. The CIS should have had at least a thousand battle droids for each minor planet, and the Grand Army of the Republic wouldn't have been extremely effective because they'd be too spread out to hold any systems. The Clone Army was the size of the US Military, and that's counting support staff and commanders. The clones didn't have any support staff other than crewmen and volunteers, so the Clone Army should have had a headache trying to actually coordinate Clone, Jedi, and Republic assets.
Boisegang I think one thing to be considered on the republic side of things is that they had the backing of large and wealthy planetary defense forces around the core worlds, along with having quite a lot of great ships. They didn’t really need to occupy most worlds, they just needed decently sized defense fleets over important hyperspace lanes. Your points about the CIS are perfectly agreeable and the Lucrehulk factory ship is genius.

Now that I think about it. There's also the light Geonosian Starfighter, light Droid starfighter and the Droid Starbomber series all from Galactic Battlegrounds. Lol, you even have a pic of the light droid starfighter in the video at 0:14. It's the ship above the normal Droid Starfighter.
Indeed Meta, the CIS is one of the most diversified and sometimes esoteric navies in the galaxy. My favorite is the Imperial navy of course but the CIS has a place in my heart as well. Keep the good work mt friend =) Hug
Wait, was the spearhead the ship we see crashing into the Venator that used the artillery against the other ship? I can't remember the name of the artillery but it's the particle beam cannon the GAR used. Anyways in that scene in ROTS we see a ship crash into the Venator.
@MetaNerdzLore which Starfighter was going to be used to shoot down the RazorCrest when it Departed the space before the X-wing's showed up and blew it up
great video, you now just need to make a video on every republic starfighter's empire starfighter's rebel starfighter's and why stop with starfighter's, the capital ship's and vehicle's are also good
Because Hyena Bombers where low cost (as mentioned in this vid), A Heyna bomber can drop all of its payload, fire lasers and kamicazi itself into the target.
Do you think Droid star fighters used wireless power transfer while attached to the outside of a capital ship? Possibly stealing energy from the shields of said capital ship? Assuming that is the case, do you think a sneak attack on the ship would be successful initially?
The starfighter design Saesee Tinn flew was later used by the Separatists?! That may have gotten confusing for a couple of minutes for the clone fighter pilots.
I’d like to see a video of EVERY Star Wars game, in order of how you like them. :-) I also find the vulture droid not very Manoeuverable in Star Wars battlefront 2 I always get blown away in 2 mins lol hence why I always select the droid tri starfighter but it lacks punch I dunno if this is just the game or is real traits

MetaNerdz Lore ok ok ok chill
MetaNerdz Lore it's not worth it
MetaNerdz Lore I`m sorry. I should not have written ''I really wonder'' , instead I meant ''I wonder'' . I wrote is as a passing thought not as a angry comment. I`m really sorry :(

MetaNerdz.exe has stopped working.
Didnt understabd how hex bomber got its name? Anyone?
Man I love the vulture droid. I feel like they do everything a TIE can but better. I mean which other ship can out budget the TIE?
Lol very good point
You also dont need to train and potentially loose a pilot. They could also carry missiles.
The pros:
Super cheap
Very fast and maneuverable
Moderate armor (that brown is bronzium)
Heavy armament of lasers
Can carry missiles
Can pull maneuvers that would kill an organic
Can coordinate with machine precision
Machine accuracy
Can piggyback on larger hyperdrive ships without the need for hangers
Can actually pull dual duty as a light walker (would love to see one face off with an AT-ST)
Cons:
No shielding
Short flight time
VERY dependent on carrier vessels (30min for fuel on max burn I think it was)
No hyperdrive
Neutral:
Droid brain less dynamic than human but more consistent and can have their programming improved for a fleet wide instantaneous piloting improvement.
Designed to look like crazy religious bug aliens, alternate universe Star Wars must have large people shaped droid fighters flying around like voltron.
Has best "shot down" mechanics in space. They just careen off into explosions, usually on fire.

Just goes to show how worthless the standard TIE Fighter really was.
Yeah, its cons were pretty devastating for any non-CIS faction.

Are you ok?
The tri fighter is awesome; it’s got a small target profile, high speeds, lots of weapons and just looks awesome as well, really intimidating.

If Sidious wasn't manipulating the C.I.S. in the background they could have easily beaten the republic.
More equipment. More cheaply built. More unit specializations.
But sadly, it did.
:(
Lol I agree, the cortosis droid is just extra proof
Marcus Kwan
Why wouldnt they?
There is also that without Sidious's manipulations the entire reason for the split would not have existed.
Which leads to the interesting _what if ?_ …

^That and Count Dooku's personal solar sailer is just pure beautiful craftsmanship.
The Droid Tri-Fighter was fun to use in BF2.
Great video these fighters that the CIS use are awesome and cool. Didn't even know some of these.
Then go to google and writte all cis ships and then select the first that says all cis starship classes find their starfighters and you will see them all with alphabetical order
So... there was essentially a Droideka wyvern? Sweet!
Loving how you're putting the source in the bottom right, and as a CIS fan, i feel obligated to say this is a great video.
Thanks Kanye, very cool!
2:25, just to be sure xD
You are really reading your comments... nice, dude!
There is the regular version of the Tempest Zero that doesn't have the 4 extra wings.
2:28 a glitch in the matrix...
(A small mistake but an awesome vid nonetheless, keep it up man)
I love me some Clone Troopers, but I always liked the CIS. I think they were the better force, and would have won the Clone Wars.
I thought the empire hated the seps

I'm just imagining Nute Gunray and Wat Tambor saying this while high off their asses.
THE TRI DORIDS REMIND ME OF A AN ME262
Huh. It's been a while. This looks like a nice video to return to.
It's a pity that we don't have more stats on the Novasword Space Superiority fighter. That thing is just awesome

Just so you know 2:26 your audio repeated but awesome vid!
At 2:24 why did you say it twice?
I love CIS fighters, they are all so cool
Rodger Rodger! Love the video. Love the channel. If you haven't already could you do a video about the skipray blast boat?
Do a video over the skipray, please.

Ok, THANK YOU I DID NOT WANT TO HAVE TO SCROLL FOR 3 SECONDS AND FIND EVERYTHING
I always chuckle when you repeat lines.
Bellubub is so cool
How come the sabaoth defender in this video has a different design to the one in your sabaoth fighter and defender video??
It is important to note most of these only saw limited (one or two battles/campaigns) use and half fall into the "shit we had lying around" category
Wait, was the spearhead the ship we see crashing into the Venator that used the artillery against the other ship? I can't remember the name of the artillery but it's the particle beam cannon the GAR used. Anyways in that scene in ROTS we see a ship crash into the Venator.
What about the that one disc like Droid gunship? Or would that be considered to be transport.
@MetaNerdzLore which Starfighter was going to be used to shoot down the RazorCrest when it Departed the space before the X-wing's showed up and blew it up
Did anyone catch what the hex bomber got it's name from?
I definently agree with that ending statement. The CIS was probably the most diverse, only challenged by the Rebel Alliance.
Interesting very interesting
great video, you now just need to make a video on every
republic starfighter's
empire starfighter's
rebel starfighter's
and why stop with starfighter's, the capital ship's and vehicle's are also good
To be fair on the hex warhead repeat, it was two different recordings, and on the second one you said "Warheads" and not "Warhead". :)
El Sabaoth Defender its not the same model that Meteor Bomber (an human heavy bomber) from the game Nexus: The Jupiter Incident?
At 2:27 you repeated it twice
Can you do a video on All Rebel starfighters?
Love all of them I love the triangle one the most they so weird and cool also I love red
Because Hyena Bombers where low cost (as mentioned in this vid), A Heyna bomber can drop all of its payload, fire lasers and kamicazi itself into the target.
But where did the Hex Bomber get its name?
I knew I should have said it three times! Dammit
But what's the Hex warhead?
Vultures in the sky!!!
thanks for having the sources
Yeah I'll try to do that more
thank you@@MetaNerdzLore
This is a preview of the waves of expansions coming to X-Wing 2nd Edition! #hyperspacehype

Nice video keep it up
wait a minute 4:55 it looks like a dwarf spider is piloting that Tri-fighter
The more I look at the CIS the more I see they were the good guys.
The one that you may have missed was a gladiatorial boxer called “Star Fighter” & he supported the CIS.
The starfighter design Saesee Tinn flew was later used by the Separatists?!
That may have gotten confusing for a couple of minutes for the clone fighter pilots.
Hey, could you do a video on Krennic’s Shuttle?
Could you tell us all about CIS heros from canon and legends
need a video for the Mankvim 814 please, thank you
hex bomber possibly the design for the resistance bomber?
But what I don’t understand is where the Hex bombers got their name from.
2:37 It looks like a Zerg Muatlisk.
Sabaoth reminds me a lot of the Cylon Raiders.
Some say the hex bomber got its name from the deadly hex warhead.
Also, porax 38. Really,its a space p38
Say the name of grievous star fighter and the company who makes it 5 times fast
The "Tempest Zero" is based straight of the Lippisch ram-jet fighter P.13a

How did the hex bomber get it’s name??🤔
Does the Guardian Mantis count as a C.I.S. fighter?
You should make a series with all warships of a star wars faktion
Isn't one of them featured in The Mandalorian before the X-wing's bomb the space station
What about the dropship? The big flying saucer one
Does anyone one know where the Hex Bomber got its name from???
Where’s the gunboat grevious used in labyrinth of evil?
Just in case you didn’t catch it.. The hex bomber got its name from carrying the deadly hex warhead..
Wow so many non droid starfighters
There's a loop in the video my guy with the hex bomber js
Tempest Zero
2:26 Nerd broke.
Pls do the republic freighter
Does the droid gunship count as a starfighter? I know it was used in space in the old Battlefront II.
Al Sky Fajardo if memory serves, then it couldn't handle Space very well, since it was mostly an 'atmospheric' craft.
I dont think its really a starfighter, i know it was added to balance the game play at least in the 2005 version.
So was utapau an ally of the CIS I thought they were occupied or did that guy just lied to obi wan ???
Mechanized assault flyer next
