Painting Hot Wheels Cars - ROGER DODGER - 7th Annual Collectors National RLC Party Car. Here at Diecast Resurrection we specialize in painting diecast model cars. In today's video I wanted to try remake a cool design that was exclusive to the visitors of the 7th Annual Collectors National Convention. These cars start at about $50 now a days so I thought wed try make my own. I didn't do pink though.. Have a look!

As a Native American from AZ we grew with Bluebird Flour. Would look god on a Dodge Charger with the big wing. My favorite color for a old school ride,, Rootbeer. Love it.
I love pink… to separate it from “real”, could use black strips from white type thing to keep pitchfork and torches folk at bay.

The car's that you restore, the artistry and the patience that you have is incredible. Beings bake memories for me when I was young and played with some of the same Hot Wheels that you restore.
Some of my go-to brands for keeping my hoopties running for years have been Marvel Mystery Oil, Motor Honey, Gunk degreaser, and Goop hand cleaner 😁

I zinc it looks sweet. The brown having light and dark areas with the light reflecting through looks awesome 👌.

I would love to see you go through some of the lesser known fuel/oil additives "Justice Brothers" "Berryman" "Seafoam" "Casite" "Schaeffer's" "Star-Tron"

A tip to plating on the cheap - an old 5 ish Volt 1Aamp or .5Aamp DC power supply adapter from a long discarded appliance works great for zinc plating. Use your multimeter to determine the positive and negative DC output wires then attach alligator clips and you're in business.

When I was in high school one of the guys had a 68 383 Roadrunner in burnt orange metallic, ie Root beer brown. I loved that car. A few years later I found a 69 340 Dodge Swinger that me and my dad put together, painted it Root beer brown. Still have it thirty years later.

Maybe your finest work. Have you considered doing a Molotow themed car? You’re obviously a fan of the product. They have a pretty dope logo and are heavily used in the street art scene, so I feel like you could really go wild with the paint. Cheers, homie.

Man that root beer made the thirsty As Fortold. Love the Rodger Dodger castings, but wasn't a big fan of the decals and paint that came on the new ones. However you made that one look 1st class. Great job Blubbs.
