I learned Wing Chun earlier and I learn Muai Thai now. I did not see any definate Muay Thai boxers here, and I did not see good Wing Chun except the 1st one. Wing Chun is good for self defence at the street against ordinary enemy. Muay Thai is good to attack anyone.

3rd fight definitely wasn't Muay Thai. He had a bladed stance, kept his hands low, threw snap kicks...I don't know what he SAYS he trains, but that sure as shit isn't Muay Thai

In the first fight, the Wicg Chun guy stated with WC stance, then switch to use muaythai, and ended the fight with ground fighting. How this is considered WC vs MT?
all of this we use in wing tsun and much more elbows and knees forearms shoulders,hadbuts...and there is a proof-Ming dynasty warlord general Qi chikuang wrote it down in 16.century and it is an ancestor to wing chun-shaolin short strike but it has all ranges..

Fiji mixed martial arts so I think logically and smart I am going to be boxer kickboxer MMA fighter and martial artist and these are my seven Combat Sports I want to learn that are the best of all time used and practice more on UFC MMA Sanda kyokushin karate Taekwondo ITF muay Thai combat sambo BJJ and boxing these are the ones I want to learn

@@gerardocovarrubias3058 just remember we all only have 24 hours in a day. You also need to train strength and conditioning 2-3 days a week. Weights, cardio, mobility and stretching, post training recovery, don't take on too much at one time is my only advice. I don't understand why people don't know how to leg check. It's considered a basic technique in Isshinryu Karate.
Fight number 4 is more like what would happen if I fought pro. If I kicked someone in the gut as hard as I can kick, they'd shit themselves.
Cualquier artr marcial o estilo de combate debe evolucionar y adaptarse con el paso del tiempo y los nuevos estilos o tecnicas de otros y por supuesto ponerse a prueba para pulirse y comprobar que tecnicas son efectivas y en que contextos y situaciones.
Ejemplo, en un ring hay normas a seguir, se tiene la certeza de que tu oponente no va a utilizar un arma o te va a terminar en el suelo como si podria pasar en el caos de una pelea callejera.
Al margen de lo expuesto en mi anterior parrafo.
Tambien todo depende de la persona que usa el arte marcial.
Sin ir mas lejos y dentro de la profesionalidad estos combatientes no son grandes profesionales, cosa que no quita que peleen bien por supuesto, pero me pareceria desacertado evaluar y adjudicar grados de efectividad a las artes marciales con tan solo los resultados de unos pocos combates.
Es un tema complejo.
Mi conclusion, tanto Muay Thai como Wing Chun son artes marciales muy efectivas si el nivel de entrenamiento y la capacidad potencial del usuario es la adecuada, como en todas las demas y ambas son dignas de entrenar con los maestros adecuados y aportan mucho a quien las aprende.
Por desgracia vivimos en un mundo en el que en plataformas como youtube, una gran mayoria que no mueve su culo del sofa ni para bajar a por el pan, nos viene a reseñar en videos como estos y con escasez de pruebas y conocimientos, cual de ambos estilos es mejor que el otro y que por supuesto el opuesto no vale para nada...en fin...lo de siempre en estos tiempos.

Wing Chun seems to be more effective as a way of training or exercise rather than modern day combat unless it can be find a way to adapt and still be Wing Chun and not basically MMA.
I didnt see anything of WT. Bong sau? Fok sau? Biu Jee into the eyes or throat, etc. WT made for self defence with its own rules. Not for the ring/octogon. Where WT is there rules is not. It's just fight for life!

Wing chun does not exist where there are rules and gloves.
None of these prove anything other than the best fighter wins a fight most of the time. For example I train Muay Thai but I'm not a fighter. If you put me in a fight with someone who practices Wing-chun and who's had a lot of fight experience they'd best me easily.
Wing chun alone is something that doesn't seem to be any relevant against any fighting sporter. If you have to defend against a regular person withot any rule, ok, wing chun seems may pretty nice even without the necessity of being an athlete, but everything changes when you face somebody who knows well how to punch, kick and knee.
There's some guys I see doing Wing chun as masters where I live and they promote a lot on Facebook but they are kinda embarassing from the perspective of me who's done just 6 months of boxing and 1 year of thai boxing.
Roundkicks are EMBARASSING...slow, now power.
Fron kicks (teeps): are all about flecting the knee, instead of using the hip power...so no power at all and something that doesn't cause any harm to anyone who has good abs muscles.
Punches...what punches? They are uncapable of doing even the basic punches in a very regular way.
They train a lot on deflecting...ok..cool...using 2 hands to deflect one right round-kick and being completely open to my left hook.
They train a lot against dummy people who fake to attack them, just to show off how effective their techniques are, but they'd fail bad against the most averaged amateur fighter...just truth be told.
If you then mix it with other styles, that can work and can actually be something very nice to do; but doing it alone, is like being Superman wearing a cryptonite shirt = useless.

I may be wrong but Wing Chun looks effective against someone with minimal fighting skills. It looks too reactionary and moves too slow to fighting at real-life speed. It looks more effective with other martial art techniques. Seems like a lot of posturing and waiting, when today most fights start fast and end quick. Maybe I haven't seen enough practitioners so I'm not critical just a little skeptical.
These are not real Wing Tsun practicioners. I have learnt WT for a couple of years and these people violate fundamental principles and basic student would know. Principle of magnetism: WT fighter will not move in and out of kicking or striking distance; WT's advantage is in direct short distance fight when hands and legs are in contact, once you move in you never let the opponent move away, stick to them and maintain half-strike distance as much as they can. Real WT fighter will never initiate attack by some random kicking like a jab - they are trained to kick only when they are certain that it would hit, fully committed kicks just like real Muay-Thai fighters do, and they use low kick, below waist line. Most techniques with free hand (distance larger than striking) is primarily used to close the distance. They use a series of strikes rather than single powerful ones to find gaps in the defense. Moving like these people in this video means they fight giving all advantage to the Muay-Thai fighters who prefer this way, this is how those train.

@@koborkutya7338 Sounds great but what if you get punched while in close distance with them, and how come there have been no "real" wing tsun practitioners to fight internationally yet? Ding hao I believe was an actual real wing tsun practitioner but got beat bad by Xu Xiaodong. Those basic principles I think only makes it worse for them, which is why for people like Qi La La who only learnt wing tsun, changed his style to backing off distance due to constant conditioning and fights with pretty much any martial art out there.
For those who practice Muay Thai you would understand that these "fighters" are by far the worst I have ever seen, a complete joke very sad to watch.

There's video of him practicing on a wingchun dummy. And in the very beginning of the fight, he stands still on a Classical side nature stance. It's true he does the traditional muaythai dance out of respect. But the guy as rd and the stance and the first kick is kungfu. He's wingchun.

While in the floor due to the rules of mma you can only applie bjj if it was a street fight the wc guy would just grabbed him of his throat and it but it’s not legal to do so inside the cage so you are left with only bjj techniques to finish A fight in the floor
In a street fight all the wingchun guy had to do with a good pair of timberland boots is stomp on the Thai fighters groin, after he swept him to the floor in the first fight. People are so brainwashed by sport fight, they don't see.

They are not fake. Most are what I would call mid level type competitions. I have yet to see Wing Chun or Chinese boxing in general that is on the same level as professional Muay Thai.
@@elindioedwards7041 Did your Chinese boxing fight with Muay Thai in Muay Thai/kick boxing national rule or the cheating Chinese boxing rule. As I know now almost the top fighter of them learn Muay Thai and karate or anything maybe also Sanda/Kungfu(just for used only its name) but they use the name of Chinese martial art to fight in the ring for their big sponsor that is the fan of kungfu.

In the first fight - the muay thai guys kicks on the wing chun guys legs, body and arms sounded pretty real to me, his body was turning red from the kicks he was eating.
